I am proud to say this guy right here is my bus driver (: he is such an amazing guy and he is such an inspiration listening to him sing while driving is amazing
Agustin Lara (Mexican composer) wrote this song in 1932, without visiting this city .... NEVER great performers as Placido Domingo and Alejandro Fernandez have made this a classic for the Mexico-Spain public. The interpretation of Boris, considering that not a professional and does not speak Spanish ... IS FANTASTIC!! Congratulations Boris.
Ihad the pleasure to meet Boris personally and listen singing one day in the Porchetta pizzeria waiting for the pizza to come....he started to sing LA PIZAAAA...LARARARAAAA...LA PIZAAAA DOES'NT COME....WHEN WILL BE COMING LA PIZAAA....it sound it comic because he tents to joke all the time and i thought he actually was joking when he was singing like that....but by watching this video...i never thought or cross my mind the potent voice he has!!! We have to vote so he can win ! GOOD ON U BORI!!
We have a town of just over 1,000 near Bozza and we also have public transport. Maybe you need to get your powers that be to come to Latrobe Valley to see how it's done. We even have buses on Sundays
who said I don't have any experience? just because i have chosen not to go the way of fame and fortune doesn't mean i have never been in front of an audience. I spent most of my childhood and my mid 20's performing for teachers and parents alike. Once I graduated I started working as a vocal coach. You do have a point, if your name is instantly recognizable to the average person it will create an immediate reputation. however, a coache's name that is not "a star" is also passed around.
Felicidades Boris.
charles shope Latin is not a language used today, Latin refers a region of the northern Mediterranean, and south America with some additions. They predominately speak Spanish and Portuguese in Brazil. Latin is only used in professional circles, other than that it is a dead language. May be you should try education, it's amazing what it can do for you.
This needs to be clarified, not everything that is spoken or sung in spanish is indeed spanish. Agustín Lara, the author of that song, was mexican. One of the best composers of the golden age in Mexico. The song name is "Granada" and is about a city from Spain, but that does not make the melody spanish since it was written, composed and sung by a very mexican musical icon who as a matter of fact never even visited such city.
Sorry but even if the song refers to a Spanish city, their origin is Mexican, Agustin Lara was born in Veracruz, Mexico and never visited Granada. The song was written for the singer Pedro Vargas.
Exactly my point. Your claim to fame is "Iris". Ahh...so many years ago. But anyone can "claim" that as well. How come coaches do not have hits of their own???? And how would you know that the picture on my TH-cam is the real me??? Heard of "avatar"????
I know what coaches do for a living. To me, in order for coaches to be successful in their fields they should have had an opportunities to prove to the world that they can sing well. Now if those singers out there that have more than one hit or one album on the market decided they should become "coaches". I will be glad to pay good money to have them teach me how to sing. How can you coach someone when you don't even have experiences in the real world setting.

And the Aussies understood "Granada"..

Actually the song was written and sang by a mexican composer Agustín Lara, so the song is about Granada in Spain, but the song is mexican 100%.
