Necrons have physiology and an incredible amount of control over it. If I may; if Orks can photosynthesize, yet they're a fungus-based life-form, which cannot photosynthesize, because plants and fungus are two entirely different kingdoms of organisms, this would make them akin to lichens: A composite species of fungi and algae. Best way to get rid of Orks (with a seventy-ish percent likelihood if being generous)? Call in the Salamanders. I'll ALWAYS remember that badass bit from SODAZ's Siege animation where an Imperial Fist gets their entire arm blown off by an Iron Warrior Dreadnaught but keeps firing his bolter with one arm. Having non-fused ribs allows humans to be flexible above the hips. A space marine wouldn’t be able to rotate their hips and shoulders in different directions due to a lack of mid-section flexibility. Whoever wrote this in the lore didn’t think about the applications. 😂
you should have mentioned the immortis gland or "god maker" which it the implant inside a primarchs brain stem that makes them so big and gives them immense strength agility and reaction time i believe. even more so the primaris space marines have one of the pieces of the immortis gland that tech priests were able to recreate that makes them larger and gives them increased reaction time unlike founding space marines
I would just like to point out how much of a legendary lore channel we have here when Majorkill can go into the Anatomy of each race. Awesome work man!
As the great philosofer Dornsmasha said before being introduced to Rogal Dorn's Colossal Chain Blade: "Genda iz jus a social konstruct 'umie! Yer wun uv 'da Boyz! Iz wun uv da Boyz. We all Boyz, an' we are gunna smash everyone an' showz im 'oo iz 'da best! It's orks! Orks are da best, ya git!" Sadly, Dornsmasha did not survive their duel...
Regarding the Eldar - having a heart pump twice as fast isn’t that useful unless it’s being supplied with blood to pump. If I were to increase your heart rate to 160bpm without increasing your venous return i.e. by keeping you immobile, your cardiac output may eventually drop And in addition your heart muscle would be working much harder, with a potentially compromised blood supply, therefore lowering its contractility :)
But isn't zero percent bodyfat a bad thing? I mean not just is fat useful to protect the body from blunt force but it also helps you with storing energy so you don't end up like a ogre who eats all the time because otherwise he would starve to death
I'd imagine they either supplement this with some form of psychic ability, essentially leaching energy from the warp, or have some other substance similar to but better than fat to compensate. Or you know, gw doesn't know what it's talking about Or maybe the mechanics don't know what they're on about
I w got to say your channel is so good you are the perfect balance of lore and entertainment while I would love your videos to be an hour long like some others I see why you don’t do it looking forward to more content!
LUTIN got me into Warhammer 40k lore. BUT you MAJORKILL have kept my interest the longest. (Although fallin asleep to lutin lore is some good sleep) 😂 Respect to both of YOU.
A few things... #1 You should do another video like this that features Kroot anatomy. It's one of the better developed angles of their lore and boy-oh-boy do they have some weird stuff going on. #2 Orks are almost never "butt ass naked." If you look at art and the minis, Orks ALWAYS wear pants. If you want pantsless troops, you're going to have to go with Kroot or, assuming necrodermis doesn't count as clothes, Necrons. #3 They found Bounce to the Ounce, the "off his tits guy," and interviewed him. th-cam.com/video/-xWBVEJUYtI/w-d-xo.html
Its very dumb to argue about the physiological correctness of a sci fi universe but spacemarines arent able to take deep breaths. Their fused together ribcage makes deep inspiration and expiration impossible as you need the intercostal muscles and the mobility of the joints between the vertebrae, ribs and sternum to move expand your chest in order to take a deep breath. But as a friend pointed out, they might just have a stronger diaphragm that would do all the work
Man I always wondered what the meeting between the human federation and the Eldarie empire was like? Human: “Cool space elves!” Eldar: “Ewww monkie” Human: “…did you just call me a monkey?” This later spiraled in to a full blown conflict in which the humans shot black holes at the asshole space elves.
I actually don't like a couple of these details; from a scientific, anatomical perspective they just don't make sense. Like, Eldar hearts beating FASTER instead of slower is wacky. Their bodies are models of efficiency and they live for thousands of years. Their hearts would totally beat SLOWER, not faster. I know wacky magic Old One genetics and all, but the more cells move the shorter their lifespans. (Which is why other details like the Eldar's uncanny movement makes sense and the heartbeat is my big gripe in that case) Fun fact, when it comes to vertebrates, every animal's heart beats almost the same number of times across their lifespan, with exceptions depending on outlying lifespans (IE something like a dog or possum where other mammals their size tend to live longer)
They probably do have some body fat, but you don’t need to have that much to swim, even when you consider that humans supposedly have denser bones than the eldar
Having no body fat might explain why the Eldar have trouble regulating their emotions. I don’t actually think it’s ridiculous since they’re completely unrelated (as far we know) from terrestrial life, but I think the writer meant it as some sort of flex. Fat does a lot of important things for animals.

One fun thing about Tyranid anatomy is that most bioforms have six limbs As if they all evolved from the same creature. Just like most animals on Earth evolved to have four limbs.
Possibly does that mean there is a core schematic the tyranids follow then? Like somewhere in the hive mind its original existence is still there at least for bug manufacturing.
@@ethanrajczak3041 Could be that Tyranids use the DNA of other races in order to modify that original six limbed core schematic. I think that Tyranids might have started out as an intelligent people without a hive mind and that through experimenting with biotechnology they created a hive mind, plugged into it and well...things must have gotten out of control. Could happen to US some day.
I know Custodes' biology is complex, but maybe the big man should've considered making Primarchs and Astartes that way. Then the Imperium would've been unstoppable...maybe. Good to have you back Majorkill. 😉

Hey man you'll let us know in advance before you pull Kitten from your store right? I want one but also want to dip my toes in another warm weather related hobby. Was gonna pick up minis again in fall/winter.
Do you think you could do a video about demon rebirth? I’ve always wondered why it takes like 100 years for a greater demon to be reborn, yet the chaos gods can just kinda insta buy them back if they like them enough. Why don’t they do this all the time? Does it de-power said god? Does it make them tired? Like if Demon magnus just got wrecked by the space wolves could tzeentch not just almost immediately put him back into the battle?
There's a number of factors at play here: When a daemon gets killed majorly, their essence gets shredded and scattered across the Warp. Consider how long it would take a killer whale to swim from the west coast of the Americas, circumnavigate the oceans, and arrive on the east coast, then multiply that scale by a humble few quintillions. Even for a mac daddy like Skarbrand, it's going to take a while to find all his bits and pieces to pull himself back together, and he's going to be nipped at by smaller fish as he goes. Unless he writes a Stan letter to Khorne asking for a favor. Khorne can choose to help Skarbrand look for the bits he dropped in the universe's filthiest shag carpet--taking Khorne's attention away from some other matter going on elsewhere--or he can skip that process by just giving him some new bits to work with and letting the scavengers have the old stuff in exchange for a juicy I.O.U. waiver. As for why the Chaos Gods don't always instantly rez their favorite minions, it's because that would be too easy. If there was no consequence for dying, they wouldn't be very effective agents. Being reduced to salmon-size and having to work their way back up to great white shark status is a humbling experience and makes the cost of failure a very personal experience that they don't want to go through very often. Ergo, when a greater daemon comes back, they're going to be motivated to win, hunting for revenge, and wanting to do something wet and wild so the whole universe knows they're back and better than ever.
Interesting fact about ribcage - it is proven that solid plate is not as durable as ribs. That's why 15 or 16 century armour were modified with grooves in order to actually improve durability and - at the same time - lower the mass.
Is this the "important data on xeno academy" secured by Inquisitor Kryptman? The 0% fat is a very strange notion, fat is needed to nurture the human body, and it also protects the muscles and bones, and it offers a bit of protection against cold. Teats are also made of body fat. The object inserted inside the tau forehead instead of a pineal gland is quite intringuing.

Just in time for my lessons with the apothecary. Well met Majorkill!
Ngl love the Spore shout out in the beginning
Yo I’ve been waiting for his return since holiday👀hope you had a good one anyways mate I’m sure you needed it.💪🏼
Majorkill: I'll take over Luetin in two years and be number one!
Luetin: I don't think about you at all.
Had a brain fart and forgot Majorkill's name even tho I been subscribed for like a year and a half.
Very glad that when you search for "Australian 40k" he's the first result lmao
It's been very nice watching you grow, in subs and quality of content. Really proud of you and such a good job.
As they "say knowledge is power I did my best."
Good luck bro. Luetin9 is a whole another level. Making better vids than he does is going to be a challenge and a half. He is the OG. You got your work cut out for you taking him home. Get cracking homie!
Proud of your growth, Majorkill!
Fun and Informative, hopefully your growth will remain in the positive.
Having non-fused ribs allows humans to be flexible above the hips. A space marine wouldn’t be able to rotate their hips and shoulders in different directions due to a lack of mid-section flexibility. Whoever wrote this in the lore didn’t think about the applications. 😂
Ribs aren’t fused, they are wider and lay over each other like armour plates
Their armour already limits their flexibility so ribs, fused or enlarged, wouldn't change their combat abilities all that much
you should have mentioned the immortis gland or "god maker" which it the implant inside a primarchs brain stem that makes them so big and gives them immense strength agility and reaction time i believe. even more so the primaris space marines have one of the pieces of the immortis gland that tech priests were able to recreate that makes them larger and gives them increased reaction time unlike founding space marines
I watch you and LT with no conflict, it's great to have a serious and wicked channel on here. Good luck knocking down the king!
Welcome back bro! Glad you had a good holiday
It's crazy on how many different modifications and implants a Space Marine would go through...just to get snuffed out on their first mission.
I would just like to point out how much of a legendary lore channel we have here when Majorkill can go into the Anatomy of each race. Awesome work man!
Glad you had a good time on vacation! Glad youre back!
As the great philosofer Dornsmasha said before being introduced to Rogal Dorn's Colossal Chain Blade:
"Genda iz jus a social konstruct 'umie! Yer wun uv 'da Boyz! Iz wun uv da Boyz. We all Boyz, an' we are gunna smash everyone an' showz im 'oo iz 'da best! It's orks! Orks are da best, ya git!"
Sadly, Dornsmasha did not survive their duel...

Or you know, gw doesn't know what it's talking about
Or maybe the mechanics don't know what they're on about
@@roguepsykerhaaker4813 the second sounds the most logical
I actually remember reading somewhere of Eldar starving to death much faster than humans due to this and heightened metabolism.
(Although fallin asleep to lutin lore is some good sleep) 😂
Respect to both of YOU.
But as a friend pointed out, they might just have a stronger diaphragm that would do all the work
Being a bit pedantic is everyone's right.
I personally think that eldar were made from a basic animal, while the orks were completely manufactured
Missed ya major kill! Hope you enjoyed your holiday!
Somehow I can only smile while imagining a great demon sighing in resignation and pulling out a book and settling down for a long break.
I once tore apart a particularly cheeky elf on the shelf. I haven't recovered from it yet... The horror is real.
Man I always wondered what the meeting between the human federation and the Eldarie empire was like?
Human: “Cool space elves!”
Eldar: “Ewww monkie”
Human: “…did you just call me a monkey?”
This later spiraled in to a full blown conflict in which the humans shot black holes at the asshole space elves.
I didnt knew Warhammer 40k before but found this channel and i really like Warhammer 40k now
I actually don't like a couple of these details; from a scientific, anatomical perspective they just don't make sense.
(Which is why other details like the Eldar's uncanny movement makes sense and the heartbeat is my big gripe in that case)
Fun fact, when it comes to vertebrates, every animal's heart beats almost the same number of times across their lifespan, with exceptions depending on outlying lifespans (IE something like a dog or possum where other mammals their size tend to live longer)
What about the Emperor's physiology, maybe a mix of primarch and custodes?
as far as we know hes a regular human ... plus a LOT of warp juice. So much that the Sisters of silence dont even have any effect on him.
@@MrFallenone Since he's a genius scientist he probably has tampered with his body at some point
Cardio and majorkill. What a great friday
Hey wait since Eldar have no body fat wouldn't that mean they can't swim or at least float?
They have light bones tho 🤷
Their muscles are less dense than water?
They probably do have some body fat, but you don’t need to have that much to swim, even when you consider that humans supposedly have denser bones than the eldar
You finally returned! Glad to see you again.
I just want a Warhammer 40k channel to put Kirby up against the Chaos Gods
Having no body fat might explain why the Eldar have trouble regulating their emotions. I don’t actually think it’s ridiculous since they’re completely unrelated (as far we know) from terrestrial life, but I think the writer meant it as some sort of flex. Fat does a lot of important things for animals.
Blokes being higher then a gack sesh gremlin at a bush doof, know it all too well. Great content and humour only just found it today. Goodstuff from a few aussies
When orks are created by old ones alongside Aeldari, they're created as a ecosystem
I love it Major when you use your Aussie moonspeak
Wait, so does that mean, that Custodes could have children ? (under the condition they wouldn't kill the mother whilst making said children)
Sisters of Silence baby.
Why would they kill the mother? How much bigger do you think they are?
@@MrFallenone Kid Bengala and Vampeta size.
@@MrFallenone They’re at minimum 9ft tall. The average women is around a little over 5ft.
Fuck sake major kill... I was already a nerd and happy with my D&D and MTG hobbies and collections... now I’m fucked, just got a warhammer 40k starter pack and paints. I’m obsessed. Watched so many of the videos over the last couple of weeks. Love it!
I do believe, Eldar also do not need to dispose products of digestive system. For example, in Ways of Eldar book series we had Aspect Warriors feasting for a week in Sealed Aspect armor suits before arrival to the battle
The primarchs would be weaker tho.
Thank you, I was looking for a video like this!
Note:if you hit a space marine with your car by accident. Two things will happen, your car will be totalled, if you happen to survive then you’ll be executed for heresy
Remember weshammer? He moved to TH-cam and is climbing on you fast man! You two should do a joint video.
The "You're going to Brazil" for that daemon was just "You're going into a custodes"
I wish you best of luck. I like your lore explanation the best
Video idea: the different types of faster then light travel used by each race
Welcome back dude!
Hey man you'll let us know in advance before you pull Kitten from your store right? I want one but also want to dip my toes in another warm weather related hobby. Was gonna pick up minis again in fall/winter.
FINALLY MATE, I WAS TEARING AT MY HAIR THE 2 WEEKS U DIDNT UPLOAD!!
G'day Major, glad to see a new video.
SPORE!!!!!!!!!!
I had to pause and go back to make sure, but that was indeed a screenshot from cell stage.
There's a number of factors at play here:
When a daemon gets killed majorly, their essence gets shredded and scattered across the Warp.
Glad you made it to the top, mate !
Interesting fact about ribcage - it is proven that solid plate is not as durable as ribs. That's why 15 or 16 century armour were modified with grooves in order to actually improve durability and - at the same time - lower the mass.
Glad to Majorkill comeback from his pleasure planet.
Professor Majorkill explaining the anatomy of Warhammer 40k's races
Where
Great to see you back
Is this the "important data on xeno academy" secured by Inquisitor Kryptman?
The 0% fat is a very strange notion, fat is needed to nurture the human body, and it also protects the muscles and bones, and it offers a bit of protection against cold. Teats are also made of body fat.
The object inserted inside the tau forehead instead of a pineal gland is quite intringuing.
Now if only we could get one on the fantasy races
