I just receive my xiake 800 and i think the stock fc is bad for the start, so now i had a speedby f405 wing FC as replacement . Can you share on the how do you setup the wiring , i am bit clueless
Yes, not done much flying with the Jumper for some time but have done some tuning and changes to Arduplane config which has improved it greatly. Now set QLOITER as default hover which maintains position really well and some fine tuning as well as testing of RTH where it flies back, transitions and lands. Have a new video to share which I have just posted so check it out.
@@chriswilson214 Amazing Chris just had a look at the video. comments are turned off tho so i couldnt reply. Looks to be flying brilliantly that does. Would you be willing to share your config at all in the ardupilot group(or private message?) Wouldnt mind getting you a drink in exchange !!
did you encounter any yaw problem(rotating in clockwise direction) , like i have build a heewing t1 ranger similar model with matek f405 wing ,all things are working fine ,except it is rotating a lot , please can help me resolve this problem
The model itself is ok for the money but sadly let down by a poor quality flight controller and power distribution board. Having replaced them with a decent flight controller and a few hours doing the install and setup it actually flies very well so far. Bit more tuning to do but it's getting there.
@@emperorkalel It's hit and miss according to some in the forums. Some have had success with the stock FC but, what looks to be the majority, seem to be having issues. My decision was to remove the stock FC and since then I have had some success.
@@chriswilson214 yeah I went through the forum and I see the issues with some and others no, has anyone narrowed it down to possibly bad batches, fakes or even possibly resellers? Where did you buy yours? I'm going to get mine but man it's will be a heart break if I get a faulty model. Have you range tested since the new fc?
Can you make a video of your recent xiake updates

Did you get this figured out, I am currently doing the same thing.
show my friend😮😮😮😮😮
Awesome video Chris, have you flown recently? Any more fine tuning on your xiake? Hoping to try getting mine in the air soon.

no yaw issues with this one at all. the right front motor is about 10 degrees forward however, which is how they are so that may be worth trying
@@chriswilson214 thanks for the suggestion, now it's flying stable and well
Why is it that some have issues and others don't? I have been holding back on buying this because of this.

@@emperorkalel I went for the SpeedyBee F405 as it's reasonably priced and supports Arduplane - it works well now I have a tune done.
Were there any difficulties wiring the new FC to the existing PDB?
The PDB was part of my original issue with the BEC browning out so I removed it completely and wired everything direct to the Speedybee F405
