When you get comments of people saying things like well why doesn’t Travis do this or why doesn’t Travis do that I think that that just shows why so many marriages have issues. Because in a marriage that works you recognizes the strength of each person And you also look at what each person enjoys doing or at least doesn’t hate doing and you work that around your life. You wanting to make things easier on him and your family before your surgery doesn’t mean that he isn’t capable it just means that you have been together long enough to acknowledge his strong points and make your household run better. And that you also love him and don’t want to make his time harder than it has to be

Also, your choice to breastfeed and pump is absolutely your choice and no one should shame you for that. Formula and donor milk are options they just aren’t your first ones and that’s ok.
Women need to support women’s choices regardless of what they are as long as children aren’t in danger.
I’ll be sitting for the IBCLC exam next year and I’m passionate about supporting women’s right to choose.

One more thing, be sure when you go in to get the stent out that you have pain medicine in your system. Once it's been removed, the ureter may spasm like it does when the stone moves. The urologist. Did't tell me that so I learned the hard way.

I've had numerous kidney stones. 1st was stuck in left kidney/ureter area, over 6mm. They went in with scope, removed it, had a stent in for a week after then it was removed. (So swelling wouldn't close opening) The stent was annoying but not horrible. It was mostly just weird feeling at the urethra opening. But then again your urethra DID just have stuff going up it. 🙂 (Nothing like kidney stone pain) they did flush both kidneys which was the pain I felt once surgery meds wore off (8hrs later from surgery or so), I recommend you not waiting like I did to get pain meds. (Even if it's just a few pills at first) a few years later I had lithotripsy done, it was sore afterwards but ALL of the pain you can handle. (Just remember it's temporary) I've had 10+ stones, I pass a few a year. I had to be pushy and advocate for my health here too. I will be thinking of you and yours! 💗

I'm glad to hear you finally got a date for your procedure. My sister in law is going on Monday to get a date for her surgery. I made 3 lasagna's today and one of them I put in a tin pan for her to freeze so they don't have to worry about meals. I plan on making some more for her and her husband. He's going to have his hands full taking care of her for at least a week.

The stint is the best way to go bc my husband had one blasted last December and he had the traffic jam situation. It was a nightmare. Then he ended up in surgery 2 more times that week along with many other complications. He has had over 100 kidney stones. He had had the stints on previous stones other than the one he just had. Even though having the stint is going to seem like it’s not the way you should have gone, I can promise you it’s the right decision. So just thought I’d be your ray of sunshine. 😜😂 prayers for you and your family. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi! This is my first time commenting. I really enjoy your channel. I have had kidney stones twice...both calcium oxolate. The first time a stone was removed (20 years ago) it was the same procedure that you are going to have. I was in such pain (for three days), and so loopy from pain meds, that I begged for my urologist to knock me out and remove it! He was able to get all of the stone and I was left with a stent in for a week, to help to keep my ureter open and to aid in healing. It was uncomfortable, but not painful. Flash forward to this past December, when I thought I was having a UTI. My primary ruled out a UTI through a blood test, but was unsure of what was going on. Little did I know but a stone was trying to move through its journey. In January, I miraculously and suddenly passed a stone that was a little bit smaller than a penny. It was immediate relief! I passed no further gravel pieces, and had the stone tested. Best of luck and many prayers on this journey. You seem to be a very strong woman, will do just fine, and I know you will be glad to have it all behind you!

Prayers for you, your family and your doctors in the upcoming procedures. Praying that everything goes smoothly and that you have a great outcome. I breast fed for a short time with all three of my kids (I am 63). It was not the "cool" thing to do at that time, and if I had it to do over I would have tried to last a lot longer. My kids fared perfectly well on breast milk and formula when I switched. I wish people could just get over the shaming attitude and the MY way is the best way attitude. It is YOUR baby and your decision. Love watching you and all of your kiddos.

I should add that one of my girls breast fed her baby for over a year and it turned out to be a really good thing as her sister had a baby almost a year behind her and she could not breastfeed. She provided much fresh pumped and frozen milk for her nephew .

I really appreciate the perspective of a moms choice for feeding is a moms choice. I know parents can can be sensitive about feeding baby. We were formula only due to circumstances and if it came down to it we found the premixed enfamil gold was the best for our son. Did not do the dry formula, only the premixed or condensed. Anyhooooo, you’re right todo what you do for your family. Good luck with your procedure.

I had the same procedure done to have a large kidney stone removed that was firmly nestled in the lower lobe of my kidney. My urologist used the laser and basket and got almost all of the pieces on the first try. I had a stent for 2 weeks. I never had a problem with the stent. She removed the stent in her office with no discomfort. I pray that God's will is for you to have the same positive results.

Hoping all goes well. All of us Moms go through so much in our 40’s. If it isn’t one thing, it’s another. We will keep you in our daily prayers. Regarding breastfeeding, many of us never had a choice. I wanted to breastfeed each of my 3 children. I tried EVERYTHING and my milk didn’t come in. My oldest daughter was allergic to formula. She screamed all the time. I never figured it out. We didn’t have a variety of choices 50 years ago. So those of you who are lucky to be successful, that’s great for your children. Love your videos.

It bothers me that keyboard warriors would interpret someone as genuine as you as being confrontational about birthing/feeding/parenting methods etc. I wish I could have breastfed my babies, but due to PCOS and no mammary glands (thanks lack of prolactin) I wasn't able to feed my babies. I could only dream of pumping and feeding in your situation. You are amazing and I would never have taken you negatively.

I'm a Widow now so my life focus has shifted.
Looking forward to seeing your post surgery Vlog. Hug those babies for me!😍

Ok, I need to send a pic of my husband’s car. 1964 Buick Skylark. He has repainted, remodeled, you name it he has done it. He goes to all the car shows. Lol Several trophies too :) Just got back from the car show in Celine Ohio, had a good time.
Have a great Sunday to you and the crew. xo

Good Luck with your stent procedure. The kidneys do a lot but unfortunately we don’t always get answers on why some things happen, which can be frustrating. I’m currently dealing with unexplained hyperkalemia and traveling 3 hrs from home on Tuesday for a 2nd opinion. All that to say 😏 blessings and prayers to you 💜

I feel you so much with the AC going out. Just had the house AC die on us. I have a 3yr old, 2 yr old, and 6 month old. I live on the other side of Richmond VA near Lynchburg and the summers here in VA are humid and HOT 🥵. So when the AC is out it is actually cooler outside in 103 degree weather then in the house. Our house’s insulation wasn’t done the best so it lets all the cold air out in the summer and in the winter won’t hold heat. So it’s a nightmare to deal with without AC lol 😂
We got very lucky and dug out our old window unit AC. It at the very least cooled down our bedroom so we just packed the kids in there 😂

Sheetz has fried oreos. Nothing beats the ones you get at a fair. They are however a good treat if your in mood for some.

Good Good!! I’ve been hoping you had some answers. Now Jamerrill, will you be able to have something to help the pain for the few weeks while bits or chunks of stones pass? This doesn’t feel good at all, and I’m not sure you have felt this pain to come yet. Talk about not sugar coating it, will not feel pretty as they pass! Wait, you did spend a few time’s in the hospital because of unknown pain, didn’t you? I think once you were on vacation?? Anywho, no matter, it’s no fun and my prayers So of course I’m going to say a prayer and ask God to please let ALL the broken up pieces fall into the baskets and be gone! Yes and Amen 🙏 😉
Lots of hugs and smooches for Tobin I send to him. I will leave you be so you can pump away..lol I appreciate your choices. xo

I do love watching your videos Jamerrill. Thank you for taking the time to share. I wish you well with the health issues and would like to know if possible, have you made your own ranch dressing (maybe the THM one?) and would it work in this instant pot recipe? Thank you! Tracy

I just had my kidney stent removed, my body rejected it, I became septic with it in and I was in tremendous pain for over 30 days. I ended up with 2 emergency surgeries, stone was 12 cm by 10 cm. Pain for over a week after removed, I do feel better now.
