    Thanks so much for this video! I had so many trial and errors with sizing, but the measurement and the picture as guide worked like a charm!

    So glad I found this channel! Just joined the Facebook group which is how I found your TH-cam. I got engaged and got a cricut in the same week 😂 my fiancé says I was more excited about the cricut (not true!) lol

      Yay! I'm so glad we found each other! I got my Cricut around the same time I got engaged too (I MAY have known it was coming), so you can totally do this! I'm excited to see what you create!

    When making hangers with different names some longer how do you make them look the same.?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Make sure the height of all the words is the same. That’s the key to making them look even!

    Hiiii! What is the gray mat you are using to take the picture of the hanger on? Thank you! ❤

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! That is a Cricut self healing mat in the largest size. I believe it is 18"x24"

    How can I make this with the cricut joy? I can't figure it out. I am new to this.

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  ปีที่แล้ว

      There wouldn’t be an difference making it with the Joy as long as the text is short enough ☺️

    About how much vinyl would you suggest for a set of 8 hangers?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could possibly get all of that out of one 12x12 sheet of vinyl, maybe get two just to be safe.

    I noticed the hanger has a curve to it where the word Bride is. Should you put vinyl on the curve out or curve in side of the hanger?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Put it in the side that curves in since that should be how the front of the dress is hung.

    Did you have to seal the hangers with modge podge or acrylic sealant to ensure the letters didn’t rub off with the clothing?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No need to seal the vinyl! As long as the vinyl has some time to sit on the hanger it will cure just fine and it would be very difficult to rub off.

    Do you seal the hangers with mod podge?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I didn't. If you used permanent vinyl there's no need to seal the vinyl.

    Is someone able to use H TV instead of vinyl?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure! I think vinyl is easier but either way would work.
