Everbloom/Angel is the better combination for a Russian infantry to tank bases or on the field as a distraction in general. The innate 100% blast resist bonus from both is already a way better option then White Wolf. White wolf is only fine as an early game officer for infantry but falls off super quickly once you get better options. Herald of peace is good but is more geared towards a normal attack type set up for infantry as its skill damage isn’t high being only 600 but the amount of skills that increase the infantry’s normal attack firepower is very high. Not meant as an officer skill burst type but very good sustain for long engagements against heavier targets like the SH and MBT and completely tears apart artillery if locked on. Lone Star is a very good infantry officer best on a German infantry as a officer skill type set with his passive skill that increases officer skill damage so pairing him with a Golden Eagle or Eri Kasamoto is the best option.
What is your opinion? I am running two Inft currently. One myrt and one lib. I have Everbloom and Angle on the myrt, for tanking. But the lib inft I do open field fighting. So I have Harald of Peace awakened. He would be my lead officer. But I have Lonesome Star awake and Golden Eagle awake. Of those star and eagle which would be better for open field fighting?
What I see about the infantry is that it is more for F2P and P2W players, since its versatile officers, including those from generation 1, are easier to access and a good combination is much better than an artillery or some tank unit with officers of payment, since the resistance it offers is very high.
In fact, I started in a silver 1 conquest using infantry and I was able to do 1 vs 5 against the helicopters and ended up winning.
Lonesome star That officer is excellent for destroying units quickly, since if you put Antonio's ability or some ability that increases skill damage, he can do damage faster
infantry can wreak some havoc with amazing tanking abilities but it is quite costly to use. Research for infantry affects infantry only(duh😂) while tank research benefits heli MBT L tank and SH and arty research benefits ATG how, RL. Also officers. Tank and arty officers are interchangeable between their units making them more versatile.
I run a 9 star, liberty infantry unit with gold ++ parts with everbloom and angel of light. I can tank any base up to 270mil with it. I just regret not investing in the research to awaken the unit earlier
I have made the switch to inft about 6 months ago. Have not regretted it at all. I am about half way through my modern research and have most of the inft officers awakened. No I find myself trying to learn as much as I possibly can about inft and game strategy.
I have all three camps of inft and switch them out all the time depending on game play needs. They are the most versatile troop in the game.
I run white wolf and herald on a vanguard infantry. Very satisfied. Thinking of awakening Angel of Light for tanking.
I run tip of the spear and everbloom for liberty
I run a 5 camp liberty infantry
What’s good officers for lone wolf I don’t see how Harold is good
Harold is good because of the bonus buffs he gives to the second officer. So if you have Eagle as your second officer then the 1500 damage is buffed way way up.
