    Thanks for finally covering one of my favorite units. I have used them since I was a rookie and usually have 2. One is a 1 blue star XIII BM-14 and my second one is a weaker **> gold XII BM-24. I use them to support my AMX-30 MBT and for long distance sniping attacks. I require the members of our build team to have at least one in my S17 PHTB Alliance. Like any other unit, it has its disadvantages, but we needed fast units that could cause almost as much damage as artillery and move almost as fast as Hellcats for long distance operations especially when our bases are tied up building. I don't worry too much about base defense. Even with a 101m power base with almost level 50 walls, it can still be burned in less than 5 minutes.

      David, can't wait till you see your face when you see bases that are multiples of your strength get obliterated in 10 seconds (or less)

    Most of the field aspects are null and void until they fix visual bug of being shot from 3-4 tiles away by tanks and the auto attack acting like arena and thinking it can only shoot 1 tile. Not to mention no ho ratio so 1 bullet can kill all 30 units.

    Je suis d’accord avec toi, son utilisation est circonstancielle et notamment en défense passive mais elle permet des tirs rapides dévastateurs en défense active. Sur le champs de bataille elle est performante à condition d’être derrière un groupe de chars. Pour moi son utilité première et pour farmer des bunkers rapidement couplée avec un char. Espérons un mise à jour pour revaloriser cette belle unité

    I use the rockets in the field. But only if we have air cover and groups around it. It’s good to counter infantry that are used for destroying tank groups.

    That off-road vehicles tech will reduce the first shot from around 3 seconds to around 2 seconds. The RL is deadliest when you can alternate targets, ~two second volleys per target. It's hard to do in an AG, but if you are micro managing it, you can really put out a lot of normal attack damage with those two second loads (first shot on target)

    Three big pros towards the RL missed
    1) can solo bunkers and ravens if the RL is strong enough.
    2) In the open field, you can shoot of rockets every two seconds by hitting auto attack after rockets are launched
    3) RL rallies are a nightmare to deal with and can burn bases extremely fast

      I have it. But I also have martyrs bomber 37M. When I see rocket launcher army groups it’s literally easy 800-1200 kills for me. They are probably burning bases near my alliance area so quick 20 second flights, I don’t need a full pass to burn a single 40m rocket.

    I think you hit the strengths and weaknesses good. When modern units were first introduced I had a choice between it and the martyr howitzer. I went RL. It is brutal in the open field, and it is definitely a reserve eater. Now with infantry getting strong, it's speed over howitzer makes it better at sniping infantry, especially when the infantry users get real cocky and think they're invincible. But that show rate of fire can be a killer. Choosing it, the SH, and liberty bomber as my first modern units made me pretty useless in the open field. The SH just got chewed up by the MB. So I basically concentrated on the bomber, which with a LOT of patience can take out bases that haven't spent a lot on defense. Now I have an LT too, which is a lot more fun at sniping.

      you can keep canceling after the first shot on a target, bypassing the 5 secondd cooldown

    I love my RL. I make a sqaud with a medium tank in front of it in case i run into trouble. I get a ton of kills sniping or getting offline ags. I usually use Nina and Flame.

    My very last blue star was the rocket. More if a filler now as open field and rubbish in base defence. But at the time I was maxing my leopard 2A. Which is beautiful! But, even though I was way more martyr prototypes. I've gone to focus more on the actual artillery unit. I'm in s10, troops are still weak when I do come across them. And especially with the range. The rockets are at the minute worse than my martyr heli. And that's so bad. I might keep her for the next update with the navy then scrap her. But.... who knows

    I recently got my RL back because I really want to like it. I guess I'm just nostalgic because in the past it was a really good unit for me, but I also see that it has fallen back a lot compared to other units. It's fragile, damage and range are lacking and by far the biggest drawback is that it benefits the least of all units from wrenches.

    You missed the clip size effect. A clip size of 12 vs reload time vs artillery load time per unit of one shot??

    good video as always. one question? SH or MB in modern units to a defense player? is there a lot of difference?

      MBT will give you more versatility. SH is really only for taking bases

    RL definitely a good unit to hit infrantry

    I use rockets. For the exact reasons you said. Like quick attack in and around my base. Having said that, all artillery units are vulnerable when out in the open.

      Yes but most RL are dead before a single volley is fired. It has less range, less armor, yes its fast but less armor. I have a 7.1 Martyr Bomber that can whittle down 8.2 RL to the point of ineffectiveness.

    Please check its base damage, why it is too low ? Please ask lilith to fix it as soon as possible. I'm afraid that mistake will affect the actual attack power in battle as well

      try comparing it with the attributes of Howie liberty/martyr, it is just make nonsense to be that low.

    The first RT attack is around 3 seconds, then goes to the default reload speed 11:06

      That depends on parts, tech, officers, etc. This is not the case for everyone

      @DeathwisH-TV I think it was faster before I had the tech as well, just not by a larger margin as the second allows. But it's been awhile since I've not had the tech, I'd have to try on a alt to confirm. Still a solid video, just something I wanted to clarify!

      ​@DeathwisH-TV You are wrong here, The 1st shot is always half of the core. You can drop down an RL to a core of 5,4s with bonuses from normal speed reduction technology, parts and components. Then the 1s technology will count, drops it down to 4,4s. Now the 1st shot will become a 2,2s shot. Officers can reduce it again up to 30%, but there I dont know they will reduce it from core or from the 2,2s 🤔 But I guess from core too.
      Edit: nvm... quick calculation shows officer have the same outcome, at core or at reduced... in both cases 1st shot will be at 1,5s

    another con when up against Modern units : infantry + MBT + LT are faster then the Rocket launcher.

    the load time is not an issue, rl has passive 1st shot 3 second cooldwon,. you can keep canceling the attack to bypass the 5 second cooldown, it is extremely good, especially with awk shevchenko
