This bed frame is absolutely AMAZING!! Made by Zinus (formerly Sleep Revolution), this is no doubt the very best bed frame. It's a raised, high bed frame, giving it a TON of room underneath, giving you a ton of extra storage space. It's a light, yet high quality, heavy duty metal bed frame, that can fold up flat for easy transport or storage.
It's folding function is complete with a tool less design. Assembly and disassembly couldn't be easier, really, so easy even an elderly person or child could do it without any help. This bed frame does NOT need a box spring, but you can still use a box spring as well (if you like your bed to be really high).

They have since added soft foam protection on the middle legs! Good company that appears to listen to feedback and constantly try to improve their products and have good customer service, so I'm not surprised.
Bigg D oh no, I know better cuz the queen I had in here before, had wheels that stuck out and I was always hitting them with my toes, ouch! These are good and not in my way at all!

Just bought one, not sure if it's the model he shows here. It set up the exact same way. Had it assembled in probably less than 5 minutes. Not crazy about the way it attaches in the middle, but so far it seems pretty steady and doesn't make much, if any noise. Was worried it wouldn't fit in my car trunk, but it actually did. Just took a pretty good nap on it, so I guess I'm loving it already.

I have been seeing these at walmart, Sears, Ikea, Amazon etc and I was wondering were they really any good. So glad I came across this video because I was going to build my own bed but this works fine and cheaper for now. Stormy Gomez I’m going to put some milk crates at the head and stack stained, wooden crates all around the head of the bed and sides! I have the bed in my double-door sized closet and took everything out including the sliding doors and painted and everyone says it’s awesome! When I get through, it will look like a built-in Murphy bed! And so much more room in my bedroom!
Got mine in March for my birthday 🎁! I’m a senior and was able to set this bed up in a matter of minutes, by myself, no tools, so easy! Easiest bed I ever had to move/set up, and so much storage space underneath! So far, I love it, with my new 10” memory foam mattress! Now I think I may check in to those under-the-bed storage drawers you mentioned at the end of the video!

Thank you for posting this video. I received a queen size frame with no packing slip or instructions. I was going to call the company but decided to checkout youtube first. I found yours and it was a snap following your instructions.. Queen size does not have the connecting mechanisms to secure the two frames together, but I used zip-ties to stabilize them together. It would probably work, but if you share with a spouse or want it to last for the long term without any doubt, get the elite version amzn.to/1Td5lRR which can support almost 2x as much total distributed weight.
To keep it from shifting, buy some of the rubberized shelf liner and that will stop it from moving.

I bought the queen size zinus frame 4 years ago until the frame started to fall apart. Holds up okay for a cheap price

Really is a good bed frame as long as those supports don't get knocked loose. My wife and I have had ours for 3 years now, but our cats like to run into the supports knocking them loose. If this happens and you have hardwood floors, legs will break. Mind did the other day. Perhaps a little tape could hold the leg supports into place, but honestly the frame is very nice and easy to transport. Just tossing out a small tip for those with pets and hard flooring.
Really? that's strange, the supports on mine don't look like they could get knocked loose even with my fist punching it, it's very robust metal and strong, I don't see how a cat could do anything like that, perhaps your model or brand of frame is different.
Maybe. I've repaired mine now and changed out the wing nuts so the I could use a use a tool to tighten them down better. Perhaps that was my issue in the first place.

Lindaa Lucio mine does slide around some! They need to put some kind of gripping material on parts to avoid that! I’ve got to try to figure that one out cuz every time I make my bed, I have to put it back in place😤 One other thing that would really help out is rubber boots of some type to make the bed easy to move across the rug! Once I put it together, mattress and all, I couldn’t move it to the spot I wanted, and it came apart where you hook it in the middle and I had to pull the mattress partially off to re-hook and move! At my age, 60’s, it was a task moving the mattress off and on 😥

Yes they're essentially the same thing, except Purple's is a lot more expensive, and Zinus who makes this frame is a much bigger producer of mattresses and frames than purple, better warranty support, shipped with amazon prime, etc, so I see no reason to get Purple's frame! Hope this helps.
I just got one of these but the right side middle legs are wobbly and i tried tightening them but there was nothing to tighten should I worry?
I have this exact frame I love it by the way!! But I do have a question about headboards. I have a king size frame and the brackets for the frame do sit high. What type of headboard would u suggest I'm was wondering if I need an adjustable headboard or would a standard headboard fit by it being a taller frame. Would I need a headboard that touches the floor
It's designed to work with standard and most headboards, it would best if the headboard touches the floor but by no means necessary.

I just purchased through Walmart they're platform bed the metal base that doesn't need a box spring and it's 18 ft at the ground for storage underneath it is so comfortable it was very reasonably priced and quite happy with it I would like to go there website and see if they have headboards for this anybody help

All right DIY fans. I have two of these and want to make it into outdoor sofa, any ideas?
Get a memory foam pad / mattress for each, make sure the size matches you're frames, if you have a king that it should technically be 2 standard twin size frames, so you would need 2 twin size foam pads or 'mattresses' probably about 4 to 8 inches should do the trick.

Lol it would be a big upgrade. We don't have a frame . I've been doing some research on the frame I found on review where someone said it started bending in the middle. So I am woundering if it's a brand that is better to buy? I would like to buy the dram by the end of the month.

Joe Mama well it doesn’t slice but sometimes when I get on it it kinda moves a little . I think it’s best to put a carpet under the Frame so it has grip to the ground . Also it would help if my bed frame was attached to the old headboard I have .

Yes you could, BUT would need to buy a king size frame, but even then the mattresses would be a bit short length wise. The twin size is 38" wide x 75" long, the king is 76" wide and 80" long, so it will totally work, but there will be 5 extra inches of usable length if you get the king frame instead of 2 twins. They would essentially almost be 2 standard Twin XL size frames except each 1 inch less wide.

They are incorrect, I've used an all memory foam mattress with this frame, the gaps are small enough that there are no issues whatsoever.

No, I have used a all memory foam mattresses and they work fine, evenly distributed on the support rods.
Yes it will sink. I've had one for over a year and a few of the little metal thingies have popped because of poor welds + sinkage.

Yes, you can use it with a head board if you'd like, you just need the brackets, you can get those here: amzn.to/1RJ6pqP I don't think wheels are necessary with this frame, as it's so tall you can get to everything underneath with ease!
Does make any squicky noise? or the metal wire can bend out of shape so many years later the bed will be arched shape?
It shouldn't make any squeeky noises whatsoever, which is what most people report, but if by chance it does you can use a little bit of olive oil or similar on joints or any areas that make noise. Metal wire hasn't bent for me at all, they are very well reinforced!

You could buy two twin frames and it would provide the exact support and size as the king frames (more expensive that way) BUT I'm not sure they come with the side connectors like the king version does. (the king frame is 2 twin frames but with side connectors so they are as one unit when connected to eachother)

Is there clamps/stays? Or do you use something to prevent sliding to hold the matress in place?
It's basically the same as using it with traditional box springs, except with this you don't need the box spring because it's so high up.

will you get back pain after sleeping on this? i have a good bed but it’s so bulky in my tiny room. looking to switch it out & just put my current mattress & base :)
I find that for my self and particularly my wife, the mattress doesn't cause pain, this is important especially for my wife, she usually sleeps on the side because nursing babies, so her hips dig deeper into the mattress all night but still need to align her back, if she has pain believe me I know about it... All our friends and family who've tried it like it, it seems to be comfortable for MOST people and not cause pain.

On my model about just under 5 inches, but the ones on the ends are just under 3.5 inches. Sorry it took so long to reply, it kinda got lost in the mix of things.

+Sharyne Micah Madlangbayan a friend of mine that had his frame for a longg time was having a couple tiny squeeks, so he sprayed the metal bars and wires with olive oil at the joins and where they intersect, where the noise was coming from... he did that over a year ago and tells me it hasn't made even a tiny sound ever since.
