Lemome makes the best journal I have ever used. I used to bounce around from journal to journal, but I have bought this one three times now and have no regrets! Beautifully thick pages, no bleed through. Love it.

Archer and Olive has dot grid notebooks that have 160 gcm thick pages, I STRONGLY suggest this notebook for drawing and such.

Super nice spreads! For journals, i suggest checking out the Lemome journals. Before I bought mine, I had a Leuchtturm too and the pages were pretty thin. The Lemome pages are thicker and they’re dotted too. I ordered mine from amazon and it wasn’t too expensive. It comes with one bookmark and it has a pouch like the leuchtturm in the back. I definitely prefer this one over the leuchtturm

I really like the Dingbats journal. I know I am late and you probably already got a journal but dingbats is great. The pages are thicker then the leuchtturm though they aren’t as thick at the archer and olive journals. Btw I just found your channel!

I loooove this. I recently got an iPad, and I plan on going completely digital. Have you used Good Notes? It’s a GREAT app, and you might like it better, because you can actually make notebooks with different kinds of papers.

Lauren Liz no, it isn’t, but they recently put out an update to better the interface and make it compatible to the Apple Pencil. It is DIVINE.

The dingbats journal, but only the Earth Collection, it has not failed me yet!😁 Lemome has thick pages, but i did'nt like it. I don't know Why Doe..😉 i Think the binding did something wierd.. Archer and olive has some Good ones,.. but i Wote for the earth Collection 😍😍 cant wait for yor next video, but in a real journal😃have a Good one🤩

not a very common brand and a little late but the minimalism art journals are awesome, just search the brand on amazon and they will have many different sizes and colors
i know archer and olives has the thickest paper, but therefore also the least amount of pages
i use a lemome one and i love it sm, it‘s way thicker than a leuchtturm one, but there are still more than enough pages for one whole year (if you don’t do too many monthly spreads, i only do a cover page and a two pages monthly calendar)
I like these type of videos (as someone who's had more fun digitally creating stuff and templates for journals), I see you're using it in conjunction but I personally want more digital examples and utilities for planning because I can make a change or effort to carry my tablet, with all my lecture notes, thesis notes, papers, art condensed into the tablet, instead of heaving books for each section. Though I think I may have realized perhaps Bujo exactly isn't for me. I like having my tasks in an outliner format (think Dynalist or Workflowy), but I just want the structured days in there to put the lists into actions for the day, but I like the vault type system/collections in a Bujo.
I personally really like decorating and drawing the doodles as a creative outlet, but can't say it particularly helps me plan my day which is why I struggle with a physical BuJo.
I'm rambling, but

Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. I personally like the feel of paper for my bullet journal most of the time, but I can empathize with not wanting to carry around paper journals all the time in addition to school books and such. 😊😊
If you keep the pencil held down after completing a line it will force it straight. So there’s no wobbles and things.
Love this video and your style, only question I have is: Do you use it in Procreate or do you place it in Goodnotes or something like it?
The Scribbles that Matter Journals are really nice, but if you want thicker pages for watercolors I definitely recommend the archer and olive journals. They have THICK pages of whatever you want to do.

did you use the same brush (hd pencil) throughout the entire planner? especially whatever you write out- it looks so good!
I do really enjoy the HB pencil for most sketching and drawing. I even use it to write out my video titles and overlays sometimes☺️ I like that it makes it look more homemade.

What size canvas are you using? I wanted to try this style with the HB pencil, but the size is so small. I’d like to have more variety with the thickness of the pencil like you did. Maybe my canvas is too large for the brush?
I was probably using a screen sized canvas for this which will help the pencils appear larger, but you can also increase the sizes of your brushes in the settings😊

How you make the lines so perfect?
Eugine Sanch draw a line and once you reach where you want the line to stop, keep your pencil held down and that will straighten your line!
Archer and Olive have the THICKEST pages out there. AmandaRachLee uses them, total recommendations from her.
