Scott is just too good. His strategy of being nice to people until the end is a quiet but deadly approach. The ending was chaotic and perfectly sums up how silly the life series is 😊
He's also extremely good at getting the heck out of dodge. The Coral Isles is totally indefensible but every time Scott's being hunted (read: all the time) he just leads everyone on a wild goose chase around the server.

Yeah that's really what got him so far. In a way I'm surprised that people kept "falling" for it. Although ultimately being nice is also what killed him in the end.

Common theme here is if you team with Scott you will win
He would have won in double life and limited life but he basically let pearl snd martyn win by standing still and not fighting back.

I think it's 7 actually. He let Cleo push him off, Scar shoot him, Jimmy shoot him off, Scar shoot him again, Cleo kill him again and Martyn and Impulse at the end ^^
Yeah I was thinking that he totally could have won if he wanted to, but I respect his commitment to supporting his friends and allies instead.
Some of the time it’s actually a surprisingly good strategy. When you are the last green or yellow you are going to die anyways so might aswell get a deal out of it. But yeah the fact that Scott gave away that much and still made it to the end is pretty incredible
You could argue it was 8, because I'm pretty sure he had a water bucket in his hotbar during Pearl's "game"

the life series is so addicting, unlike other servers everyone's online and posts at the same time. Plus they always have something unique in each series e.g:soulmates, boogeyman, time limit.
Scott telling Martyn that impulse and Etho were trying to kill him was like a younger sibling telling their brother they got beat up, and Martyn was just like "they hurt you, they will die"
Lol Martyn was having straight up Last Life PTSD when Scott said: “Let’s go to the corners”

Martyn winning from killing at the end feels extremely climatic and honestly the only person I wanted to see win bc of his lore tbh but Scott having to most time at the end just goes to show how cracked he is at mc and these life games

The reason i feel scott did so well was the fact that no one was determined to kill you early on

i think it is worth pointing out that, other than gravity, scott was the real winner of this season, both in terms of survival time and good natured conduct.

Idea for next season: when the server starts each player will get randomly selected into a group of 3….the groups share 1 pot of time that their own group has gotten each group can kill people to get time and once a groups time is done they all die

Absolutely loved the moment when y’all just paused mid game to compliment each other.
No hate towards Martyn but I felt the ending to be predictable. Like Martyn deserves the win and I’m very happy for him that he got it, but when you see 2 people without armour on, and 1 with. It doesn’t take long to connect the dots and know what’s gonna happen before hand. Again I mean no hate towards Martyn, congrats on getting top 4 again Scott

I think the timer was getting to people’s heads lol, felt like the normal kind of unwritten gentleman’s rules went out the window more so than normal, he took the win but I feel in any prior season he would have agreed to the fist fight, not that I have a problem with it just an observation

They all had something fitting happen with their last deaths.
Bad Boys died by being bad at the game.
Nosy Neighbours died alone, they could not 'watch' their allies' death.
The Clockers Family died together. They also died first by having the least time despite having all the clocks.
The TIES were broken by Skizz but his final wish of a member making it to Top 3 was fulfilled.
The Mean Gills were mean to everyone and their season ended by being mean to each other.
Bad boys died to Fall damage, all the connections true to the end.

@@louise4594 I mean, she was able to be psycho because he was basically a lifeline, between the way him and cleo acted, Pearl and Martyn were basically given constant regeneration, which made it a lot easier for pearl to fight since she didnt have to stop and eat while other duos did

ethier that, or you could argue that Scar or martyn were some of the closest things to allys that Pearl had in double life, in which case it would be passed from previous all to ally. In which case a Martyn + Solidarirty team + Scott for safer measures, lol.
though they would have to win again then let the blessing be passed to Solidarity, so idk if that would even work with this pattern.

not really, scott definitely isnt the honourable type, hes just aggressively neutral which in the case of this series is way more beneficial than a weakness. at the end martyn didnt 'betray' because he thought it would be unexpected, he just wanted to win and just killed everyone, thats not a trust issue or anything like that. i feel like if someone was being bullied, the honourable kind would stand up and stop the bully but scott strikes me as more of a run away to find help kind of guy, hes just extemely not hateable and portrays himself as average but is in reality above average for almost everything

This is one of the best final perspectives because all of a sudden, Scott dies and you hear a chorus of voices from all the spectators who are just as surprised, as well as Martyn's monologue.
That was the most hilarious betrayal in history I'M DYING 🤣

You think he gave this one away? It's definitely possible, if he had planned the ending out with Martyn ahead of time, but in the video it looked like Martyn had genuinely beat him with the element of surprise.
@@dbseamz that's the exact case, Martyn streamed a watchalong of his pov and he said he was sick during this recording so he wanted it over, no matter if he died or won, he said that this was all improvised and that if it was his choice it would have been life threatening games till one person ran out of time
Scott, I just wanted to thank you for being open about your sexuality. With so many bills being passed against the LGBT community in the US, and experiencing homophobia from my parents and everyone around me at school, it brings me so much comfort that, at least somewhere out there, there is a random person who happens to upload TH-cam videos who knows what its like. I've struggled with conflict of interests in my religion and sexuality/gender identity my whole life, always thinking I was broken. When I discovered your channel, I really enjoyed watching your videos. You know how to make a story play out and be funny in all the best times. When I found out you were gay, it was so much better because now I knew that you would never be homophobic in a video and ruin the love I had for the channel, and that irl, you would Always defend my rights. In your coming out video you said that if you helped just one person, it would be worth it. Well, here is one person you have never met, who you probably didn't even know existed, telling you that just by doing what you love, and not hiding who you loved, you have helped me in so many ways. Thank you, Scott.

Religion can work with however you identify your gender and sexuality, religion is about spirituality and learning to show empathy towards others. Unfortunately there are far too many people using religion as a filthy excuse to spread hate and to create an “in-group” that they can use to exclude and and abuse those they don’t agree with.
In the bible, as an example, one of the most important rules is “love thy neighbour” and that neighbour could be black, Asian, gay, lesbian, bi, trans, gender fluid, ANYTHING and you should still show love and acceptance.
I hope this comment helps and I wish you all the luck that you can stay safe whilst also being your true self.

My kid is gay and trans, and even with a family who supports him wholeheartedly, the prejudice is hard. When I see young people who don't have that support, it breaks my heart, because I know how hard it can be even with support. There are so many people who have your back and who love and respect you for who you are, even if you haven't found them in person yet. But you will. Just hang on to that thought, ok?
