i found this season to be the worst one, it was too chaotic, Martin was too opportunistic, ruining the final episode and tango's POV, and, in general the outcome of the season was too predictable
For the next season Martin scott Pearl and grian should have a nerf : -3 heart for scott ( he won 2 times and was in the top 3 here) -2.5 for Martin (won 1, top 5 tree times) -1.5 for Pearl (won 1, top 4 one time) and -0.5 for grian (won 1)
I never liked Martin and this episode set it in stone it feels like on this server there’s an unspoken rule that you don’t back out of any agreements Martin did it twice this session one week with pearls game then killing impulse and Scott he didn’t deserve the win honestly

For Martyn, that is literally the case. In the watcher lore (made by Grian but brought to the life series by Martyn), Grian is a watcher and made the life series for either entertainment or to feast on their souls (I don't remember which one).

Unexpected ending, you should be so proud that you got 2nd. A member of ties in the final 3 was fulfilled. Amazing editing throughout this series, it's been so fun to watch it. Many thanks to everyone involved in the life series for providing hours of entertainment for us all ❤️
With the freeze frame on the lava, I still had a shred of hope for Impulse somehow winning despite Martyn being in full armor.

It was such a good ending!
Impulse felt like the hero this whole series. Martin felt like the villain this whole series. What a perfect end.
The irony, Impulse gave Bdubs a clock so he wouldn't kill him, but Impulse ended up killing Bdubs. I guess it's karma finally catching up with Bdubs
I find it somewhat poetic that Bdubs betrayed Impulse in 3rd Life, then they became soulmates in Double Life, then he permanently killed him in Limited Life. Everything about those two is just poetic to me.
Karma caught him on the rebound, and it was beautiful.
Same thing with tango's boogey kill after bdubs' in last life
Impulse just wanted to say even if you dont end up winning i absolutely loved your pov and thank you so much to grain for producing this amazing series.

Despite all odds, you fulfilled Skizz's last wish, and got some fantastic kills into the bargain. Now you're hopefully still on the path to victory on a possible next series (please!). RIP TIES, you will live on in our hearts forever, and props to the winner. BTW the thunder at the end gave me chills. It's safe to say you are now officially cracked at Minecraft :)

eh thats the beauty of the series, its ultimately last man standing so its great to see how the different playstyles interact, this is basically the opposite end to last season for example its nice to see things spiced up and always taking another turn

Im SO happy a member of ties made it to the final 3, and how you 4 stuck toguether without betraying eachother for the whole series, absolutelly adored this.
For anyone confused, at 31:10 you see 3 kills from scott on impulse. Then later on when they are deciding how to end it, they even out the hours, which is why his time goes back up.
Still doesn’t explain how one death for impulse pushed him from 3 hours to 8 minutes..
@@monkeyboytv7 it wasnt 1 death, it was 3. slow it down, 3 death frames are different kills - he explains in a stream the day it was released.

Agreed. While I’m disappointed in the ending (it was a _little_ cheap), there was nothing wrong with it. It was fully within the rules, and he still did earn the win. Plus, this season gets its own unique ending now, instead of having an almost identical ending to Third Life. :)

Sure, I agree with all comments here, but still, it was really a DBag move from Martyn's. I can't imagine doing this to a friend of mine. Because Impulse had hope he'd be given a chance and Martyn just took it all away.
Again, I agree this makes Season 4 unique, but in my view this was not the way it should have ended.

Best edit in the series! I only struggled at the end, where you where at 3h, than lost to smajor and suddenly you're left with 8 mins. I think you should have made it a little more comprehensible, but that beside it was such a great season with you. Good Job!

okay so casual reminder that this is all just a game, it is really not that serious or personal. you can be mad that someone did something you didn't like but that does not make it okay for you to go around harassing, insulting, ripping apart their character or whatever. at the end of the day *everyone* on this series are very close, good friends and if something wasn't allowed or was against ""the rules"" then they wouldn't do it. they always talk about these things extensively behind the scenes but even so guys. guys. it's a minecraft block death game. you look so unbelievably childish dogpiling a creator over something they did in a video game, have a bit of self awareness. i see this behaviour literally every single life series and it's SO disappointing, do better.
I really thought we knew better than this by now, very disappointing to still see it going on. Yeah it's a small amount of people but it shouldn't be happening at ALL.

@@thatonepossum5766 It really feels like everyone forgets that they're all close knit friends and heavily talk out what is allowed and what isn't before hand. I saw SO many people attacking cleo over burning down bad boys manor, it's been going on all series sadly :/
@@meevins oh weird. The burning of the mansion was one of the best things in the season! It was both hilarious, and made a section of really interesting terrain for them to fight on. And it didn’t seem like any of the Bad Boys were upset, even in the moment?

What if for the next season of the life series you did what im gonna call switch life? At a certain time during each session (maybe halfway through or perhaps even at a random time) each player would swap the amount of lives they have left with a random other player
If anyone wants to repost this so grian sees it or just to expand on it with more ideas feel free to do so
i commented something like this a year ago i called it swap life😅 HAHAHA the difference between my idea and yours not only they swap life they also swap places with each other so the killings increases
And it needs the random number of lifes from last life
imagine it wasnt lives - but everything else. location, inventory, xp, health, anything - and it happens every time somebody dies.

Was a bit overdone with the wonky camera during some of the fights, and the ending was really confusingly edited. Goes from 3 hours + Pearl to 8 minutes no pearl....then back to 1:30 for no reason. Really unclear what was even happening. Fancy editing doesn't always mean good editing.

Hear me out, next Life season could be called Bountyful Life, everyone has a ton of lives, but at the start of every session one person gets a bounty placed on them, and when they're killed not only do they lose 2 lives, but whoever killed them gets an extra life

I have a similar idea. My idea is that each player starts with 3 lives but that 3rd life is a red life. Here is a simple way to display the system (1-3)=Red (4-6)=Yellow (7 onwards)=Green. Every time a player dies the player that killed the other player has a random chance of getting a new life Ex. Let’s say that Scar is on two lives and he is aligned to Pearl and she has eight lives and Scar kills her to get a life
this sounds like a fun little system on the side... like how boogeymen were to Last or Limited life. I don't think this mechanic alone can birth a life series.

Impulse you did great this season you got so close. Now no hate to you or Martyn when I say this, but the ending feels a little dull to me. Like I’m very happy for Martyn that he won and the way he tied it to his lore was good. But I knew exactly how it was gonna go the minute I saw Martyn still had armour on. So I gotta ask, why would you agree to taking off your armour if the third person hadn’t yet? You know, the whole “if you do it, THEN I do it” type thing.

NGL, I felt a lot of resentment towards Martyn at the end there, I know everyone are friends with each other, and they're cool with it and he was within the rules of the game, but it felt spiteful and anticlimactic, after countless of hours of watching everyone's perspectives for 2 months, we were robbed of an ending.
I know its just a game and nobody should feel bad, but you can't blame me for getting invested in your shenanigans, if anything that's a compliment to the series itself.
