Is it the wet squishy brain matter that is responsible for consciousness, or is it the energetic field passing through it?

I suspect consciousness may not be that difficult to achieve, just because… It is so universal in living creatures.

Even Microsoft’s Copilot (Microsoft’s branding and perhaps fine-tuning and system prompts on top of GPT-4) as much as people claim it’s actually stupid and doesn’t know anything, the end results are very much duck-like:
If it walks like a duck
If it talks like a duck
If it swims like a duck
Even if it’s not really a duck, claiming otherwise seems to suggest you’re totally quackers and you’re all ducked-up!
My observation is you get out largely the quality of results tied to the quality of prompts you feed it. If you claim it never works, chances are it’s you, as much as it, if not more, so far as if comes to reasoning and problem-solving.
