Is that true? In the rules text it says “…gives you a bonus to your Intelligence (Arcana or Nature) checks.” The “or” is what makes me believe you select one or the other. I feel like it would say “and” otherwise.
@@ConstructedChaos That seems to be standard terminology when listing something that gives bonuses to multiple skills. Check the Barbarian Primal Knowledge ability, which also uses 'or' rather than 'and' for its listing of all the skills it effects. Commanding Presence under Battlemaster likewise does the same as do the other Maneuvers that add to skills. The logic is that you only make one at a time so using "and" wouldn't make sense, as that would mean you only got it when rolling both at once, I think. Regardless, all class features seem to use the same language, so I'm pretty sure it's intended to be both of them. The D&D Beyond thing not presenting a choice supports that as well, though not very strongly given all the bugs, I admit.
Magician Primal Order on Druid gives a bonus equal to Wisdom to both Arcana and Nature, not just one or the other which is why you don't need to pick.
