On December 23, 1913, Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act. In the early 1900s, financial panics were frequent as people didn’t trust the safety of their bank deposits. To help stabilize the economy, Woodrow Wilson created the US Federal Reserve - a central bank independent from the federal government, with the power to print money, adjust interest rates, and require minimum cash holdings for banks. The Fed is designed to keep the economy running smoothly through booms and busts, controlling inflation and keeping unemployment as low as possible.

A private company to "keep unemployment as low as possible". What kind of private company would be charged with market manipulation? They may say they are separate from the government, but why would the government grant that control to them. Corrupt A F 💰💰💰🤑

It’s under ZERO scrutiny. You should have included the quote from Wilson once he realized what he signed into reality. You forgot to mention it’s not regulated by our government either. If they were under watchful (genuine) eyes, it would have been abolished long ago.

To be fair, saying the federal reserve isn’t part of the government is like saying a gas station owners kids aren’t employees. Officially they aren’t, but they have to do what their parents say.

Our money is owned by a bank that is independent of our government? Did I hear that right?
