Grew up watching The Parent Trap, Pollyanna, and the LAW Cinderella. Watching these two sing this iconic song together is such a treat for my inner child.
The Parent Trap was the second movie my parents took my sisters and me to see at the cinema in the 1960s. We didn’t have a lot of money so it was a big deal for us to see it.
i saw it as a young child also and it took a couple of years for me to realize that they weren't actually twins. I knew Warren was a good actress from her days on Mission Impossible, but I didn't know she could sing.
I am an identical twin, and my mother took us to see this movie when we lived in the Bronx. We used to perform this song as children in front of friends. We both went on to do some musical theatre as young adults.
The original Parent Trap and Polly Anna were two of the best Disney Films that I still enjoy watching as an adult. The old Classic Disney Movies were the best, because you could sit down and watch them as a family and you did not have to be worried about some kind of agenda being shoved down your throat. Walt would be turning in his grave if he could see what his beloved company has become in recent years. Hayley Mills was a phenomenal child actress for Disney.
This is amazing! Two women from my very early days as a child. I had crushes on both Haley Mills from the Disney movies and Lesley Ann Warren from Cinderella. Some of my earliest memories included these ladies. What a treat to see this presentation. Thank you for sharing!!
I love that they applauded after "Hey Alligator!" As that was always the Sherman brother's favorite line with the way Haley pronounced it. And Lesley Ann Warren sounds exactly the same! Just like when she sang in The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band!
I was in local pharmacy, and there was Ms Mills looking through the vitamin products.....the young sales girl said can I help you and she jumped out of her skin...I said' please dont give that lady a heart attack !she is a national treasure '' got a giggle from Ms Hayley....made my day
I absolutely loved watching Hayley Mills in all of those wonderful old Disney movies….they were the BEST!! And I loved the name Hayley so much (even as a child) that I named my daughter Hayley. It was different and just unusual enough where I live. Little did I know because of Kelly Ripa’s soap opera character, the name was immensely popular. So there were 4 other Hayley’s in her class at one time….each with different spellings!! 😂
Haley Mills is awesome and so is Lesley Ann Warren. The funny thing is both were Disney actresses in the 1960s although Mills appeared in more Disney movies than Warren ever did. Not to mention, they were both born in 1946 therefore they are both 78 now AND can still kick booty!
OMG, this is great! Two iconic actresses from my youth. A Disney girl and a Mission Impossible girl. I loved them both. A lot of my childhood crushes are no longer with us, but I just saw that Barbara Eden had her 92nd birthday recently, so she is still here too. And I always expect Haley Mills to be older, but she is only 7 years older than I am. I'm 70 now.
I loved Parent Trap of course but my favorite is The Moon Spinners with Hayley and Peter McCenery. The book it’s based on by Mary Stewart is great too.
Always been a LAW fan (the queen of several epic mini-series ( _Evergreen, Beulah Land, 79 Park Avenue_ ) , and I know Haley Mills' work from WAY back in the day ( _Parent Trap, The Trouble with Angels, The Chalk Garden_ ) but what brings these two icons together, and does anyone know the significance of this song?
Haley sang the song with herself in the Parent Trap movie. She needed a partner to sing it. LAW was also a Disney star in the 1960s in the movies The Happiest Millionaire and The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band. In both she was paired with John Davidson. The Family Band movie had Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn, but wasn't where their romance started, as he was 16.
I can’t figure out why the audience wasn’t singing along the entire time - if I’d been there, I certainly would’ve been. But maybe you have to be an old person who saw “The Parent Trap” when it was new to do that.
I would be more interested in hearing LAW sing a more traditional. A cut from "Let's Get Together With Haley Mills" does not cut it. LAW was always under appreciated. This does not help.
They still look great. How sweet to relive the 1960's for a few minutes. 😊
Grew up watching The Parent Trap, Pollyanna, and the LAW Cinderella. Watching these two sing this iconic song together is such a treat for my inner child.
Perfectly said and me too!
Love these two women. Gifted performers and loving human beings to boot.
Lesley Ann Warren has such a beautiful smile.
Aww, that was beautiful🥰! Haley's still got it. God bless those two lovely ladies.
I can still remember Lesley Ann Warren as Cinderella when I was a kid. What a beauty.
Two beautiful Disney princesses from the good old days.
Wow, there’s still some innocence around! God bless these women!
Leslie Ann Warren played a beautiful Cinderella many years ago.
With Stuart Damon !
Yes! My mother LOVED that! Saw the live television airing of the play and we were LAW fans from that day forth.
@@overthehillladyand Celeste Holm as her fairy godmother.
A genuinely endearing teaming of 2 legends of yesteryear!

I thought this was also a reference to George the alligator in The Happiest Millionaire!
Still have my 45 of this song.
Love these ladies
How lovely...takes me back to my childhood, living only a few miles away from the Mills family xx
OMG I remember watching the original parent trap and Cinderella on TV when I was kid ❤❤
I just saw Hayley in the trap but she can still rock and roll and so can Lesley. You go girls ❤
Hayley Mills was my favourite movie star when growing up. Now that we’re the same age I’m still her favourite fan.
Hayley Mills was my first crush. I still know all the words.
I just loved Haley Mills when I was a little girl!! The Parent Trap was the best!!!

This brought a smile to my face as I remembered a favorite childhood movie.

Hayley doesn't sing both parts? 😂 Thanks for the blast from the past. 💚 Hayley - a true legend.

fell in love with Lesley Ann Warren in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (1965)
Two of my favorite actresses…this is so fun to see.
I loved the ORIGINAL Parent Trap but my favorite Hayley Mills movie is The Trouble With Angels.
This was the most magical-est moment EVER!!!!!!

OMGGGGG Miss Bliss, Polyanna, Suzanne and Sharon.....i love Haley Mills
Can’t wait to meet Hayley in February!!!
Wow! This was such a treat to see! I loved The Parent Trap! Such an innocent movie! 🎉
Love them both ❤❤❤
First single I ever bought!
I'm 77 years old and Haley was my second celebrity crush. My first was Brenda Lee.
Hayley in the original "Parent Trap" Movie was priceless.
The Parent Trap is my 2nd Hayley Mills movie. My 1st is Pollyanna
I still remember Leslie Ann Warren in Mission Impossible. She and Hailey haven't changed a bit. They both look great!
Oh, how fun! I loved it!
Lesley Ann Warren was incredible in Victor Victoria.
Great memories...loved the movie so much back
Thank you!
I grew up watching Haley Mills movies. That Darn Cat and The Parent Trap have to be two of my favorite movies, but I like them all.
I grew up in the 80s with the Disney Channel. I was very influenced by Hayley Mills. I can even remember talking with an English accent!
That's her signature song
This is the most wholesome thing in the internet!
Named my daughter , Hayley, because of her .❤
@@user-no1hh7bc1j Me too! Loved that name since I was a child!
OMG her voice is there
Let’s get together was my first 45 record!
I loved Parent Trap of course but my favorite is The Moon Spinners with Hayley and Peter McCenery. The book it’s based on by Mary Stewart is great too.
I really liked "Summer Magic" I think it's mainly because of the beautiful songs.
Watched Haley Mills Disney movies growing up in the 1970s. Pollyanna, Parent Trap, That Darn Cat. What event were they at?
She was in an okayish thriller movie called "Trap"
She was also in The Moon Spinners and In Search of the Castaways, which were also pretty good Disney movies!
Yes, I forgot about the movie Moon Spinners but never saw Trap or Search of the Castaways.
"Trouble with Angels" still brings me joy.
How cute very nice 😊😊😊😊😊😊
What the heck? Where was this? What was this? I LOVE these ladies almost my entire life!
Hayley, rock on!❤
She sounds just the same
Oh my gosh! That was so great!!

@@kevinbailey8827 Interesting ... so their connection was Disney. I forgot about that. Thx!~
Does anyone else remember "Ching Ching and a Ding Ding Ding", another song Hayley recorded?
❤❤❤❤

Leslie Ann Warren will always be HOT! Loved her since Cinderella.
Hayley too.
💜
Lesley Ann Warren looks beautiful.
Pollyanna and Cinderella singing together.

It would be cool if Hayley was singing with Lindsey Lohan.
👍

What the hell was this What event is this Why don't they do more of these events all over the United States where they hold all the comic con shows??
