Fun fact: the three pirates entangled in the real life Blackbeard’s mythos in one piece are in order whitebeard, Blackbeard, and the crew member Blackbeard murdered, thatch. The real life Blackbeard’s name was either Edward teach or Edward thatch so he inspired all three of the characters, with Edward Newgate (whitebeard) taking his first name, Marshall d teach (blackbeard) taking his last name, and thatch taking his other supposed last name. Just a cool bit of trivia for pirate enthusiasts who want the real world influence just beyond the name Blackbeard

Enies Lobby easily one of the best arcs in the series, and partly because of the interactions and information that starts building in the last few episodes.

Heisuten, even if they sent all the strongest people in the navy to go fight shanks and whitebeard, they would get clapped if the 2 yonkos teamed up
The biggest takeaway from this arc is that Heisuten is literally Tilestone, just without the beard.
They cannot easily set up to get to the two meeting emperors because as it is now, it takes the navy + 7 warlords just to maintain the balance of power with the emperors. Focus on the two and the other two might get you with your defenses down.
As well as the fact that the 4 emperors control so much land that killing two will through many islands who were under their protection in complete disarray

They don't send 3 admirals cuz admirals get job to protect navy HQ so they don't go on a mission easily, plus even 3 admirals come they can't stop WB+shanks when they really go wild.

(spoilers of anime only) zoro can duel with fujitora with rather simplicity, also akainu was a kid compared to wb on marineford. If it wasn't the hundred bullet damages, a sword going through his abs and going against the other 2 admirals. Akainu would be easily dead, the man feared his life there lmao. Anyways shanks tanked kaidou so he couldn't go to marineford, and we know what kaidou is capable of. I really don't think that 2 admirals would be enough to a emperor's crew(specifically the shanks, as we know that is the most balanced crew on the show with little difference of power levels)

Admirals never ganked up on wb it would have been over killed .
Kizaru easely trolled wb Aokiji had the best of their encounter stopping wb haki and was going to land partizan on him but wb got saved by jozu.
Shanks crew is indeed wild but it depend of who is with the 2 admiral if they have some top tier vc then this can be done .

@@ribeiropk IM a truth fan too but they did not only sensor they nerfed akainu and gave him some weak moments for no reason .
1Wb never lifted him the huge impact of all his range island spliting shot that akainu tanked was a counter he did right after having hald of his head melt because akainu jumped to do that and was air bone .
The fight for akainu and WB was mostly them being equals and then 1 sneak the other .
Akainu removing Wb face basically was a fair move since wb just sneaked him with a huge quake punch before that and wb using his island split attack was also fair since this was a counter but this was realy the only fight we had .
1 Knock the other in the ground for a minute and 1 well lets be honnest .
WB was only going to die after that when he fought BB he was basically already dead.
And im talking about the ships shanks ships will sink if akainu attack on it .
Now for hanks and ben beckman surviving im not sure at all .
Pretty sure aokiji or kizaru would win a good fight vs beckman and shanks will get finish by the 2 admirals .

Shanks to Whitebeard: hey old man let's meet, the Navy will send all their forces here and we can set up an ambush.
Shanks to Luffy: hey you should go take over Marineford, you might learn about the One Piece. Idk bye.
Then bam the Navy is now getting ambushed by two Emperors and railroaded by the King.
Point being they have to use their forces sparingly unless it's a VERY BIG event.
Also unlike the seven warlords who are a counter power all together, each Yonko is a power enough to challenge the Navy itself so there is no way the Navy could take two simultaneously...

So by this logic.

Shanks was probaby in his 20's so he wasn't a child, and would have been around the time when he used to duel Mihawk. Remeber that Shanks didn't form a crew until a few years after Roger's execution.

@@snowfreezer2863 To be honest, even though their encounter was years ago, Shanks still views Blackbeard as a major threat, enough so to to inform the Elder Stars directly, and to pursue Blackbeard when he thought that he'd come to Wano.
Even with his observation Haki, Blackbeard evaded him, both in the past, and during the present, so I think it's entirely plausible that they're both on equal standing in the New World.
I love to rewatch some op scenes and be like "now I get why it was that or that way... would have been trouble if it weren't" and i love op for that.

One thing about the warlords bounties - their bounties get FROZEN once they attain warlord status. So doflamingo’s bounty was 340 million at the time of becoming a warlord. It’s not a good metric of their strength since they likely became even stronger since. A good example is crocodile. His bounty was frozen at 81 million, but (even tho he was kind of a scapegoat for the plot) his bounty as a reflection of his strength was probably more like 150-200 million.
