Exciting tone, follows the action right place and right time, dynamic content caster with Dave and others. And NOW instant replay too? T9O has gone from best caster to revolutionizing AOE. Legend.
That was pretty intense. I love how CtR throws you right onto the edge of your seat as the players do awesome stuff like that quick wall and the relic snipe and it all happens so fast! I'm pretty excited about that lineup for the next game, as well as seeing if that instant replay feature works. :P
If Salad fully walled the relic, he would have probably won. And there was a loner moment, where he still had a few villagers and no knights were inside
Salad should have walled in on the side to the water. He lost the game to the knights, not to the galleys. There was nothing stopping the knights from going along the water and killing any monk that showed up. If he hadn't had his monk trapped, he still would have lost. Just a bad play of not defending his advantage correctly.

Great game, every player came so close to winning at different points in time.

Quick question - If they can have only one monastery; can they delete the one on original island and build one on the centre island?
No, they can't build additional monasteries and their original can't be destroyed in any means.
3:35 one of the greatest narration LOL
Well I'm learning American accent too
i got to ask, what happens to a relic if it sinks with a transport ship?
Best game of aoe 2 in forever :D
what a perfect game! Everybody had a fair chance here

What would occur if the transport ship was sunk with a relic onboard?
And by the way T90 - accept our common congratulations with 20K subscribers!
Igor Morozov Can anyone answer this?
Relic drops to where the monk holding the relic boarded the ship. At least that's what it did for me. Maybe this mode is different.
it can also spam from where it originated on some maps
Excited for these upcoming instant replays
have you ever considered making a masters of all tech series? could be fun too see what civ bonuses the pros pick!
All salad had to do was protect his first monk from the scout with the villagers. I guess he couldn't see it though.
really enjoyed this. great work t90
Does the players see the relic when it's picked up by enemy's monk?
Yes. However, when it goes into a transport ship, it disappears again
Is Viper participating in capture the relic series?
No, he wasn´t. He said he was sick
This game mode is really cool to watch.
wow amazing game. love these 1v1v1
These games are awesome.
Its way more fun to watch capture the relic with good players

Had he guided his monk with some vills preemptively he might have had it.
Ahh Malay, the ez mode faction, if the map has any water they are legitimately broken.
Isn't this gamemode way better with larger maps?
Haha instant replay. amazing!
