Dear @@angieginger I'm struggling to find a good way to do notes from not-pdf material (books and articles on paper) because I'm dealing with non-digital stuff. How to use better note extension in the workflow? I hope you will consider to do a small video about it :)
Hi @@freddodentro, please take a look at this website www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero, which shows the various ways of adding items to Zotero. From my understanding, Zotero only supports digital files, pdf preferred. In your case, I would suggest using ebooks or scanning papers into a digital format to create notes or annotations if you want to use this app. I hope this answers your question.

Hi Angie, I'm new to using Better Notes. I would like to know wheter there is a place where I can see all the notes I have generated with Better Notes. That is to say, I want to create a note and define it as a main note, after that I want to link with it every pdf summary. However, I can't find where I can see ALL the main notes I have been generating, so I don't have to search through the endless list of bibliographic references. I hope you can help me, thank you!

@@angieginger for example in my thesis i want to talk about the "effects of internet" so what can i do to see all of my notes under that category? i used your method but instead of authors i used my themes (other example: internet and gen z, history of internet, uses of internet). but then it was kind of complicated because i need to make "item note" for every highlighted text in every pdf. i hope u get what i mean. XD
@@user-yg4po6mv6j In that case, I suggest you create a mind map /structure for your thesis before proceeding with note-taking, then categorise your themes according to the branches of the mind map or structure of the thesis in the main note. You will still be able to drag the information you need under each theme, highlight and annotate. Hope this helps :)

I accidentally deleted the user guide for the workflow of betternotes after installing it :( Idk what to do or how to get it back (the little sidebar that you showed which tells you how to use it)
Hi Yasmine, I took a look at my Zotero and I couldn't find it either. I assume the user guide gets deleted once you started creating notes. However, a detailed user guide and handbook can be found using this link, github.com/windingwind/zotero-better-notes?tab=readme-ov-file Hope its helpful.

Sorry mate, I'm not sure about that. Try restarting the software or updating it to the latest version, and see if the problem can be solved.
@@angieginger I have the same issue with release 1.0.4. However, all you do is make a "New Workspace Note" and it does the same thing

I cannot remember which add-on exactly, but I think it’s from Zotero styles.
Ok nice video, but this have tooo much friction. I personaly do Zotero-Obsidian cos of ZK method but if u want to se ideal workflow check Citavi reference menager I think u would like it. Btw nice trip to Japan :D
