@@fromtheraq3898you must be looking at stats and not tape. For a rookie he's shown some great flashes with run coverage and has a pass coverage presence that has indirectly resulted in sacks. We know DEs do more than try to sack the QB, right?

Furthermore, keeping Austin Booker will really help his development with Crosby teaching him and he can replace Crosby later if need be. Poles has shown us that he can draft well without a 1st round pick, plus with the Panthers 2nd it's almost a 1st anyway

I take the 2nd option and here's why. Herbert is perfect for the Raiders who need a running back, the 1st round is fine since we'll be drafting about 29th or later. Crosby protects our investment in Sweat and will make him more effective cause you can't double team him. Plus we'll finally have the 3 pass rushers that we need

I know I'm in the minority here but I would hang on to the draft capital and also Booker. The Bears are on the rise but they're not ready to compete for a title this year. They need to improve the offensive line and for that they will need their picks. I feel like a move for an edge will be there this off season and early next season. Give Booker a chance to develop and have an impact edge on a rookie contract. Continue building through the draft and resist the shiny object being dangled.

I love the idea of getting Max, but I think I'd prefer to make a crazy move for Micah Parsons. Pretty sure that he still needs to be paid by Dallas, and I don't see how they can afford him.

Of course I would be excited to see him play for the Bears. The defense would be lights out but how much would it cost? How many draft picks are you going to lose? Poles is and has always been about helping the team now while building for the future. The draft is loaded with top-tier offensive line prospects next year. More than any other position is what the consensus is so far. Use those top three draft picks to shore up the offensive line. Not to mention the affect it would have on the salary cap and being able to resign other players that are coming up. Kyler, Brisker etc. Like I said, I’d be thrilled to see him in Chicago but at what cost?

For anyone asking for A-O-line player trade understand that teams don’t trade good o-lineman. You think it’s expensive to trade for Crosby? Whadda ya think it would cost to get Nelson from Indy? We’re talking at least 2 first rounders and believe me it would be the ultimate dream come true to have him on our line. A team best opportunity would be in free agency to over pay for one or the draft but the trade would limit the bears options for O lineman in the draft

These trade ideas are putting way too much trust in the offensive line as it currently stands. We need that 1st round pick to get a left tackle. And one of those second round picks or a third can be used to trade up in the 1st to get him. The Bears have beat terrible teams this season and I don't see this offensive line holding up when they play tougher defenses like Minnesota. We have a young rookie quarterback that is getting better and now the primary objective of this team should be to protect him with the best line Poles can put together, and not rely on late round picks or other teams cast offs. This idea of trading for Crosby is just the same mentality that has plagued this team for 30 plus years in putting all it's resources into the defense while neglecting the offense and the offensive line in particular and getting their quarterback killed or at least stunting his growth. No, keep that 1st round pick, protect your QB and continue to build through the draft. This team is NOT one player away from being a Superbowl contender.

Crosby is from the Detroit area. With the Lions probably being his childhood favorite team, and Hutchinson just went down, he would probably want to go to Detroit? What about giving Raiders and Luke Getsy RB Khalil Herbert and Nate Davis for Crosby and a 1st and 4th.

I would try and keep booker and give like a Jacob Martin because we seen what we could do without him like Herbert, Jacob Martin, and a 1st, 4th it’s a lot but he would make our d-line elite and even our lbs and secondary even more elite! I love Herbert but we just are using him and for what we use him for, Travis homer can take on the little workload!
Booker trained with Crosby so it would be beneficial to keep them both and also since you’d have Booker, Taylor, sweat, and Crosby if that happens you could use walker on the inside more so there’s more depth there
