We still haven't seen Kiran A. at LT yet . I can see Kiran LT, move Braxton to LG, then either move Tevin to his natural RG or trade for a decent draft pick .
Bears don't need an edge. They need a DE. Nic Scourton would be my pick at #1, if there's not a LT still on the board. I like Ratledge, he should be around in the 2nd.. could use another DT if available with our 2nd #2. This draft should be all about offensive and defensive lines. Don't confuse edge with DE. Edge is a 3-4 outside LB. Bears play a 4-3. With Booker and Hardy, the Bears have a couple of good, young nickel edge rushers. I don't see the Bears trading up, either. Way too expensive.
Good Scouting report on edge Sawyer. I think we need one more solid draft in the trenches before we can acquire talent via free agency unless there is someone like Sweat out there. Moving up in the draft to get Sawyer would be worth it.
I like all of the draft prospects you highlighted. However, in this draft there is a lot of depth on the DL both at DT and DE. In fact, given that we have both Booker and probably Taylor in the fold (assuming Taylor gets resigned), I would prioritize DT over DE. I like Sawyer but would not trade up to get him. I also like Scourton, Pearce, Williams, and Carter. In fact, might be able to trade back a few slots get another draft pick and still land a very good DT or DE. Draft also has several good IOL (Booker, Savaiinaea, Ratledge Jackson, Brailsford and Foster to name a few). This is the year to focus on the trenches. Not a great year for LT so will have to see how Kiran does.
The left tackle is the most important lineman for protecting the QB, we don't have a beast at the position, and we need one. Followed by a new guard and center. The second half of our scheduled will show us what we really need as we have a killer 2nd half of the season schedule.

Love these Big guys who are Smart and hungry to play football. Cheap Rookie contracts help th Cap, also better protection for Caleb gives him more time to throw for th Big plays !! Bear Down & keep GB in th basement !!!
