I cant tell you how happy I am to see youre Keto friendly meal ideas. Ive lost all my weight, I’m focusing on maintaining my weight loss , and am now looking at working on my gut health (I had a microbiome test done and my gut isnt the best) I want to make some sauerkraut next. You inspire me Carter thank you so much.
Ive been hanging out for youre next pantry challenge video. The first one was fantastic, and this second instalment was just as good. Thanks so much again Carter.
Hello, all these recipes look so yummy! I was just thinking about adding more salads to my rotation. I think these would fit in perfectly and i got some ideas for canning projects. I was wondering about your ground cover project and saw all the snow and thought how beautiful it looked! I rarely get snow where i live so i live vicariously through those who do get snow! Thank you so much for sharing and have a wonderful day!
Hey, Angela! I do love a good salad. Hope you love these. The snow is always so pretty, but I do worry if anything will survive it. Hopefully the spinach and kale will rebound, although they are quite young. I'm really pulling for the cilantro, but that may be a lost cause!
Hello, Carter! Great ideas for delicious meals. Thanks for another inspiring ideas for building off what’s already on hand in the house. Now if I can get it in my mind that Wednesdays are the new video release day, I won’t be so late to the party. 🎊
Hey, Melodie! Always good to see you, even on Thursday! I'm not sure how long the Wednesday thing will last. It made sense for the challenge, and it fits so much better with my weekly schedule/life, but so far, views have been pretty abysmal. I think I'll stick to Wednesdays through the challenge, then we'll reevaluate. I'm open to any thoughts from you or anyone on this.
Wow! A lot of those look delicious!! One more week until I get home!! So many new plans for the new year! I booked a craft show for sept so will have to get the looms going again. I also plan to do an addition on the house. A pantry/ craft studio. I can't wait to get my crafts out and my bedrooms back. also as it is cold, Esme will be running blueberries and I plan on canning the rest. We have 72lbs in the freezer my daughter informed me! Turkeys needs to be roasted, and of course canned and broth made. Ham will be canned and some left in freezer for omelette etc. I need to replenish my beans so will use the bones in those. As for the pantry challenge, the goal is to only buy milk eggs or maybe greens. I'd like to do it for two months. Have lots in the freezer I need to eat up! I will be using several of your suggestions as I used many of your recipes the last two years! Thank you for all you do! Connie
Connie, you have so many wonderful plans! Are you still planning to move this year? A pantry and craft studio sounds wonderful. 72 lbs of blueberries! Wow. Turkeys, ham, beans and knitting. You are going to be so busy!
@ no the moving is on the back burner. My son really wants me to come to Va but as much as I love it here I'm not ready yet! I have a few trips this year, but as they say no place like home! Not knitting, I'll be weaving again! I've been asked to demonstrate spinning as well.
@@constancebeck2992 Yes! I knew it was weaving, but out popped knitting. 🤷♀ I'm glad you won't be moving for awhile. You sound so excited to be headed home. I can't wait to see what you make for the show!
canned onion jam video would be wonderful, sounds yum! guess I have to go peruse the older vids and see if I missed that! pears were on sale the other day so I bought some extra and planning to make that pear cranberry chutney soon.
I love your videos. You are a great cook and your meals inspire me. I am participating in the Three Rivers Challenge and have some kielbasa in my freezer that I need to use up. I’m thinking it’s pasta time.
Always enjoy watching and listening to you tell us what your making. Always a hit when we can use our canned goods. I want to learn how to can even more things. Like meals in a jar, do you have any recommendations? Thanks for sharing and can't wait until the next one!!
We love meals in jars around here, Phyllis! Here's my playlist. th-cam.com/play/PLgEXQ3mnC4jcKk0jAVNNAqQa8FUKw5lVt.html Particularly popular in my house at the moment are all the soups, the chili, Cottage Stew, Beef Rogan Josh and the Short Rib Ragu.
All of these meals look delish! You mentioned while making the chopped Italian salad that u were using hot pepper relish. Which recipe do u prefer for that canning item? Thank you!
Sausage dish looks yummy. I'm with you on the broccoli no mush for me. Carter you could have gone all year without reminding me of my favorite Houston's. So sad they closed. Thai Steak and Noodle Salad was so good. Houston's used pancit noodles in salad. Have a Filipino friend who made stir fry with cabbage, carrots and pancit noodles. Delicious. I'm going thru the Christmas ham: Pinto beans with ham bone and cornbread. Split pea and ham soup. Cheese and ham with asparagus quiche. Tonight was Spaghetti pie with meatballs, salami, mushroom, bell pepper, and marinara. Layered with cheese. *Tomorrow I want Happy Hour at Fish City Grill. They serve amazing Shrimp nachos with fresh toasted pita chips instead of tortilla chips. Frozen Margarita to die for. lol. Enjoyed the video. Have a great week.
Hey, Donna! Now you can make your own Houston's salad! The one in Nashville closed too, but I think there are still a couple in Atlanta. It's always been such a dependably good place. Hope it manages to stick around. All your ham dishes sound excellent! It sounds like I need to see what Happy Hour at Fish City Grill is all about. Shrimp nachos! Yum. Enjoy!
Everything looks amazing!! What is the brand of your favorite bagel? I have tried so many and have been so disappointed, I have a few in my freezer that I will be making into your breakfast bread pudding!
Hey, Angela. We like the Sola bagels. They have the best bagel texture and no aftertaste. I used to have them home delivered. Now they're only available in stores, I think. I found them at Whole Foods in the freezer section. As you know, all the keto bread-like products are outrageously expensive, but these were cheaper at WF than they were online. Last night (as you'll see in next week's video) I turned another one of the gross bagels into breadcrumbs to use in a meatloaf. No aftertaste at all...it was perfect for that as well.

It's nice that we're basically in the same place in our health journey!
Gosh Carter, I feel I need to try every one of these recipes!!!! Thanks so much for bringing so many new and delicious recipes!!
You're welcome, Mary! Hope you love them.

Keeping my fingers crossed for the kale and spinach and cilantro. All favourites of mine as well!

You bring some great new ideas to food. Thank you for your nice videos.
hanks for being here, Renee!
Hi Carter, i always love your recipes and ideas 🙏🏼 the canned corned beef is one of my favs ❤
Thanks, Annie! It's definitely one of ours too. Time to make some more!
Your videos never fail to make me hungry!!
That's the goal! 😊
Everything looks great!
Thanks, Karen!
I find it is often the sauce that makes a salad. Perhaps that is why the Thai salad works even with all the substitutes.
Could be, Victoria! The dressing is awesome.

Great video Carter thank you for answering my ham question. I could never figure out why some of my canned ham came out dark and some light. Thanks
You're most welcome, Pam. I wish I could pinpoint the "why", but hopefully someone will pop in with the answer.
