I would 100% recommend taking your carry on! When you leave the hospital none of your things are going to be organized! I planned with time and packed everything to the T! I used 10% of the things and when we were discharged we had things everywhere! The hospital will let you bring home extra baby diapers and such things. Take a blanket!! Even just a small throw blanket, either for you or deni. And take slippers, they give you grip socks but slickers would be more comfortable since the floor is also cold! & have a birth plan written out so nurses are able to respect your wishes🫶🏼
I suggest using a carry on as opposed to a bag. You’re going to walk about with some many things and rolling your bag makes it soooo much easier as opposed to carrying a bag
Definitely recommend a carry on.... I took a carry on for me and hubbys stuff and also threw in an xtra blanket in there for him.....All of babys stuff was in his diaper bag. whatever you take make sure to have xtra space for when u get out of the hospital as you will be walking out with more things.. whatever is in the baby bassinet you can bring home with u. BEST WISHES!!
I was frezzzing my butt off after they gave me the epidural… getting the chills was a side effect! I deff wish I had taken a blanket. The hospital ones are more like sabanas
Hey girl I don’t know about the faja but the nurses are gonna want to give you a fundus massage which is literally massaging your uterus to make sure it is shrinking and closing those blood vessels so you don’t hemorrhage so idk if the faja is the replacement of that but I would recommend to let them give you that massage even though it isn’t comfortable it is important and just something to expect , you got this girl 💗🫶🏽
Also get washable bamboo nursing pads. Like 2 packs. You will thank me. I used them with all 3of my kids. ❤ you will leak all the time and when you sleep it’s worse.
I’ve had 2 kids and i wish I didn’t over pack lol. To give birth don’t use ur gown i did and I regret it. Take a towel i had a csection at night the next day i got up and showered. REMEMBER EVERYTHING IN YOUR HOSPITAL ROOM FOR YOUR BABY IS YOURS TO KEEP SPECIALLY THE DIAPERS! If u have a natural birth you only stay 1 day if its a c-section its 2-5 depending on how ur doing and walking
I think you’re honestly taking the right things & you’ll be using it. Don’t forget a coming home outfit unless you’ll be wearing your pj set (nothing wrong with that). Personally I loved the always diapers but the green pack I felt like they were more soft & comfortable. I also bought the Frida mom ice packs for down there & helped me so much to ease the pain. Don’t take any to the hospital because they provide them & are the same thing.
Definitely take a baby briefcase for all the documents you will be leaving with. At discharge they give you copies of all the papers you sign plus birth certificate and footprint certificates. The briefcase is a must so it doesn't get wrinkled or folded. I also put all hospital wristbands in there to store while we got home to place in a memory box. ❤
Girl I super recommend u take a blanket I recently had my baby and I’m very calorosa and trust me when I say u will need a thicker blanket I had to get the epidural for complication prevention and it caused me to get super cold especially if ur friolenta and a towel girl for when u shower u will feel much cleaner using ur own towel instead of the hospitals ❤😊
You Def need a carry on roller bag cause don’t forget you’re going to a hospital You want to be able to wipe down the surfaces of your belongings so definitely avoid pourous things like ur tote and fluffy slippers etc… Also u need a blanket for urself There are some good weighted throws at target you can get that fold up For sure a blanket for baby When you leave the hospital they make you carry baby in your arms and the halls and cold air outside are not good Not to mention all the extra germs Also a red bracelet for mal de ojo One for you and baby Because you won’t believe how many people will be looking at you
Stacey I have 4 kids natural and the last one I decided to get an epidural and it messed my back after that.. I don't recommend it. I do recommend eat before going to the hospital because once they admit u they won't feed u just ice chips!! Good luck 👍
Gurl take your laptop!!! Lol I was in the hospital for 5 days so my laptop came in handy for movies and shows. The tv in my room only had local channels ( boring)
How exciting! 💙💙 Something that I highly recommend is a thick blanket once I gave birth I had the chills all night and I regret not having a thick blanket!
I bought the gown and wore it during labor it was so comfy but the gown got so messy i had to change, so i recommend wearing it after birth, or if you want to change
Great info and products Stacey. I wish I had you 25 years ago when I had my boy. Such helpful helpful stuff. Thank you for all the new Mommies that you are helping.
The carry on should be good, since your husband will have to bring all the stuff to postpartum - It’s a lot easier. Other things to bring: Take snacks!!! Take a comfy going home outfit, nursing bra, nursing pillow helps a lot with breastfeeding, baby lotion (after the bath babies skin gets super dry), & bring a folder for babys documents.
The frida mom socks are very helpful as I recommend wearing those or the hospital socks as they have the grip at the bottom and you will need that, atleast with my 3 babies after birth i was very shaky and weak and you can easily slip when getting up to walk
I laughed when you said you were going to take just your tote bag.. not to be mean! I gave birth last September. I end up taking my carry on bag and it worked amazing
Usually for an uncomplicated vaginal birth you can expect to be discharged within 24-48 hours, with a c section you can expect to be discharged closer to 3+ days depending on the complication of the surgery.
Girl don’t stress out about bringing too many things. I went in with nothing. I didn’t know I was going to be induced and didn’t have a bag ready. I was there literally a whole week. They provided everything including toothbrush and deodorant. Only one thing I recommend is eating before you go because I didn’t eat for three whole days except for water. I was in labor for those three days and stayed two days after I gave birth.
I used my airport carry on maleta that has wheels and it was the best decision ever…you come out with soo many things that the less you have to carry with your hands, the better. Muchas bendiciones, you’re already a great mommy!
I highly recommend to take what they give you for postpartum (technically your paying or it all) like for ex the numbing spray, witch hazel pads etc. Oh and they will only allow non slip socks 😉
You did good girl! The only thing is I did bring a blanket for my partner because they didn’t have anything comfortable for dads so just brought him a blanket that is mine because he swore he didn’t need it and girl he used it and when we had our second I took the same blanket lol and he didn’t question me the second time. Snacks and a blanket would be the only thing I would add but you did amazing girl there is no right or wrong 🤍
Also yes girl we took a small carry on for both of our stuff (it was still really tight lol ) but then I took a bag like the tote one for like my quick stuff so that’s also a really good idea ❤
Honestly girl I just took my carry on bag. Made things so much easier. One bag for both me and baby. Just had my little wallet for hospital paperwork and what not. And I honestly didn’t even use anything in my maleta. Lol just my baby’s outfit. Being real here I was only really in the hospital for one full night. So I showered when I got home. But that’s just me. I know it’s not for everyone.
It’s so soon now!! 😊Remember anything the hospital opens for the baby or you, are yours to take home because they will just throw it away once they clean the room. Anything helps. I will be praying for you and your growing baby boy. Take in every second because it goes so fast. ❤
Lol I almost forgot The feeling of walking or moving after birth is def weird You will feel your belly wobbly and for me, I asked the nurses to wrap me up in my faja But I was swollen So they used 2 of the abdominal binders from hospital to wrap me up tight I felt soooo much better almost instantly !
I suggest the grip socks instead of fuzzy socks, hospital floors are slippery so in case you don't wear your crock you have a grip on your socks. Also a small pocket speaker to play relaxing music you like.
I took a carry on!!! Best choice ever. My stuff and my husband stuff fit perfectly. I didn’t want him to hassle with soo many bags just incase I wasn’t able to walk. By thank Hod everything went smooth for us.
Blankets gets hot & really cold. Hair brush for sure. For baby a swaddle and home outfit. they don't need much and at hospital he will be in a shirt they put as they are doing several tests on baby until you leave.
I just had my third baby a I took a carryon with everything for the 3 of us. Which I would recomend because when you are discharged you won't be able to carry anything and your hubby will. And your tote take it to bring all the Hospital goodies
Def take a cozy blanket. The epidural had me freezing my ass off during labor. Kaiser will also give you warm blankets if you ask. And don't forget to ask for your peanut ball!!
Congratulations! Once you become a mom your instincts will kick in. Don't worry!! Don't underestimate a cold splash of water on your face to come down from anxiety peaks. You got this! Todo se puede con Dios ❤
I took a blanket both my pregnancies and do not regret sometimes it would get cold. I mostly used the blanket after birth. The postpartum band right after giving birth felt so good, like I had support.
Hi Stacey, you're SO cute being a 1st time mom. I have 4 kids, and pls know I've learned what I needed to pack instead of what I wanted to pack in my hospital bag. Things you'll need to pack for sure: - gum (dry mouth for yourself) - baby socks, and 1/2 white baby onesies, a beanie (even though the hospital provides baby beanie) - baby swaddle blanket or a warm blanket (hospital is cold for them) -1 cute baby outfit for his 1st newborn pictures at the hospital they have photographers come in and take the baby 1st newborn pictures Amazon has a great travel bag you can use as a hospital bag. It works great for all your essentials. Hopefully, this helps. Wishing the best with your new bundle of joy. 😊
I would recommend taking a carry on and a breastfeeding pillow everything else seems you already plan on taking. I used the pillow for myself when resting and putting between my legs when i was in pain and laying sideways and of course when baby was born to help with breastfeeding. Take hella snacks but nothing that will make you feel gassy or like you need to go bc once you get that epidural you will regret it lol
I couldn't stand the faja for over 10min idk if it was my epidural or because I was swollen that made my back hurt so I decided to give my body those 2 weeks and then I slowly started using a less apretada faja and now I can do one after 1month but so many people are in a rush to get one on so to each there own
I’m taking a carry on for me and his diaper bag for my baby. I figured rolling in my bag and stacking everything on top would be easier than carrying everything for my man since I’ll probably be in active labor when we go in. Girl packing my hospital bag was so fun and I still have a list of stuff to throw in last min when we’re ready to go. Im due this Saturday so he could come any day now! Im so excited for us and all the new moms! I know this last and this year is a big one and it feels like everyone is having a baby lol
Don’t use the nail clippers. It’s too scary. I accidentally over cut one time and I was traumatized. On Amazon they sale electrical baby nail filer and it’s only like $15 dollars. My sister recommended to me and I love it.
I was in labor for 24hours, birthwise everything went great but my son developed jaundice, because of that we ended up staying 3 more days. My advice is to pack more because you never know 💕
Hi Stacey, I’m not a mom yet but god willing one day. Your videos are super helpful. Based on others experience, in addition to what you already have, I would say take an extra bag with clothes for u, baby and Deni for just in case. You can leave this one in the car that way your hubby won’t need to drive back home. Or if he does- you at least have your extra clothes and don’t need to wait. Pack your favorite snacks and drinks.
Be careful with all the makeup products, lip glosses, lotions, etc. because you never know if the baby can get a rash. Their skin is sooo sensitive so having all those products on our skin can irritate the baby💜 PLUS you will be kissing your baby ALOT😅 so I suggest natural lip stuff.
Take a shower towel and flip flops you don’t care about to use while you’re showering. I’m a minimalist and I love that you’re choosing the same route but sometimes it’s best to have something bigger or another bag with you. What ended up happening to me is my hospital let me take ALL the left over diapers, wipes, clothes, and formula they had in my recovery room. My husband did 2 trips back and forth bringing all the stuff to our car. 😅 Maybe bring your bag and a rolling suitcase?
Sometimes they don’t let you wear your own gown. They might make you wear the hospital one. Also, I personally prefer the always discreet underwear. You’ll definitely need much more than just 7 in a box. I think the always discreet comes in like 21. They also make the depends for women which were a life saver for me. I had a C-section and bled for about four weeks after giving birth. Through wearing the depends, it was so nice to just throw away the whole thing, and start fresh with a new one every time I had to. Best of luck! You’ll be a great mom! I’ve been following your journey from the very beginning.
I cannot imagine how you’re gonna wanna use the fan while in labor it’s not even gonna cross your mind. Another thing wear your gown after you deliver your baby to be honest, your whole gown comes off while pushing and you give no cares. I also took a carry-on bag for everybody’s stuff and a tote bag for the most reached items, the less shit, the better because I made the mistake of over packing over and taking things the previous two times I wasn’t doing that again
I've just started following you since your vlog of Gabbi's baby shower. I love your vibes❤, vlogs; so much so that I've been binge watching your older vlogs. I can't wait for baby Santiago❤
Yes girl that was me I did get a new bag because I didn’t have one but I took just hair ties Bobby pins a coming home outfit for me and a size newborn and 0 to 3 months for baby just in case a head band for her and a swaddle and essentials like toothpaste tooth brush shampoo and body wash and same for dad and socks and that it and I was fine. Don’t stress you will be fine❤
stacy...you dont need to take that may things..i like the fact that you are only considering little things ...andddd pleaseee dont take epidural in the long run it messes up your back ...i had 4 natural births the more calm you are the less painfull ..i had csection only for a twin delivery...wishing you a safe and blessed delivery
Usually if you have a vaginal birth and everything is good with you and the baby you could stay up to 24 hrs to 48hrs. C section stay longer. Muchas bendiciones for a natural, easy and healthy baby💙
Fajarte is good right after it really helped my posture and to feel “tight” after vaginal birth everything felt loose. I heard c section mamas have to wait longer to fajar. I don’t think you’ll need anything else!! 🎉
It looks like you are all set! My son was 10 pounds 3 ounces, I had no idea he was going to be that big. I got a newborn size coming home outfit and it just fit.
Trust me when I say TAKE A LUGAGE with wheels NOT A BAG !! It’ll be easier when your leaving the hospital remember your gonna be taking the diapers / wipes that’s the hospital gives you even if you’re not it’ll be so much easier
You probably won't see my message but I took a maleta (care on size) fit every for me baby and husband so when we left the hospital my husband only had to roll that maleta and the carseat
Coconut oil.. for all skin.. your litp nipples and babys. Because when they clean baby or shower baby the skin will look and feel dry. You can also do vaseline. They will tell you no coconut oil on nipples but do your research. I did it and it worked for me ..baby did grate. My baby girl.. (2)Loves coconut oil till this day.
Also forgot to mention prepare your v. With coconut oil now and just before birth to help your skin stretch well and prevent some or all tears. Best wishes ❤️
How time flies 💗 it’s wild to know you’re gonna have your second so soon!
The hospital is freezing !! You will want your own cozy blanket !😊
Agree 100% carry on! Plus easy for hubby to roll it out of the hospital haha.
I suggest using a carry on as opposed to a bag. You’re going to walk about with some many things and rolling your bag makes it soooo much easier as opposed to carrying a bag

Also the chapstick thing is bc you can’t have anything to drink while in labor. Only ice chips. And that doesn’t hydrate you enough.
Also get washable bamboo nursing pads. Like 2 packs. You will thank me. I used them with all 3of my kids. ❤ you will leak all the time and when you sleep it’s worse.

The briefcase is a must so it doesn't get wrinkled or folded. I also put all hospital wristbands in there to store while we got home to place in a memory box. ❤
Did you freeze some pads with water on them yet? They saved me 😅
Girl I super recommend u take a blanket I recently had my baby and I’m very calorosa and trust me when I say u will need a thicker blanket I had to get the epidural for complication prevention and it caused me to get super cold especially if ur friolenta and a towel girl for when u shower u will feel much cleaner using ur own towel instead of the hospitals ❤😊
You Def need a carry on roller bag cause don’t forget you’re going to a hospital
You want to be able to wipe down the surfaces of your belongings so definitely avoid pourous things like ur tote and fluffy slippers etc…
Also u need a blanket for urself
There are some good weighted throws at target you can get that fold up
For sure a blanket for baby
When you leave the hospital they make you carry baby in your arms and the halls and cold air outside are not good
Not to mention all the extra germs
Also a red bracelet for mal de ojo
One for you and baby
Because you won’t believe how many people will be looking at you
Stacey, run to Marshalls I went a few days ago and they were full of baby boy clothes🥰especially newborn! Also lots of SOFT Muslin blankets ❤❤
Girl I recommend taking a warm blanket for yourself it gets cold and you feel so much more comfortable
I had to stay one night, but I didn’t get an epidural and everything was fine no complications so maybe that had to do with it ?
I would recommend a carry on. It makes things a little easier for you, especially when you leave. Wishing you the best ❤❤
Stacy I took a mini luggage for my second baby 😭
-shower towel
-shower products
-2 outfits for you
-slippers
-robe
-hair comb
-a warm blanket
Stacey I have 4 kids natural and the last one I decided to get an epidural and it messed my back after that.. I don't recommend it. I do recommend eat before going to the hospital because once they admit u they won't feed u just ice chips!! Good luck 👍
I agree. I was induced because my water raptured and for three full days they didn’t give me food or let me eat anything. I was there 5 days.
Gurl take your laptop!!! Lol I was in the hospital for 5 days so my laptop came in handy for movies and shows.
The tv in my room only had local channels ( boring)
Great video
How exciting! 💙💙 Something that I highly recommend is a thick blanket once I gave birth I had the chills all night and I regret not having a thick blanket!
I bought the gown and wore it during labor it was so comfy but the gown got so messy i had to change, so i recommend wearing it after birth, or if you want to change
Omg Stacey, I didnt realize how far along you are! Sending you the best and most calming vibes on this last stretch of your pregnancy.
I personally did not need a fan since I’m friolenta and would always be cold at the hospital and would even shake from the cold.
Great info and products Stacey. I wish I had you 25 years ago when I had my boy. Such helpful helpful stuff. Thank you for all the new Mommies that you are helping.
How do you feel after seeing Gabby’s L&D?
Gabby’s was the most realistic video I’ve seen
The carry on should be good, since your husband will have to bring all the stuff to postpartum - It’s a lot easier.

Yes! I was induced on a Tuesday and I ended up having a C-section and I didn’t get out until Sunday 😒
Girl a blanket and towel is a must
I think a shower towel would be a great idea to take 🙏🏻
Yes hospital towels are small and rough
Yess my hospital had like the face towels and im so happy I took my own towel!!
Girl don’t stress out about bringing too many things. I went in with nothing. I didn’t know I was going to be induced and didn’t have a bag ready. I was there literally a whole week. Yay for minimalist hospital bag
pleaseeee bring more period diapers girl! i went through a LOT a day!😫🥹
You did good girl! FYI
You still bleed (like a period) after a C-section.
It’s so soon now!! 😊Remember anything the hospital opens for the baby or you, are yours to take home because they will just throw it away once they clean the room. Anything helps. I will be praying for you and your growing baby boy. Take in every second because it goes so fast. ❤
If you get fuzzy socks get the ones that are non slip socks
I have been watching your channel for a while and you are going to be the best Mom I can see you have so much love to give ❤❤❤
Lol I almost forgot
The feeling of walking or moving after birth is def weird
You will feel your belly wobbly and for me, I asked the nurses to wrap me up in my faja
But I was swollen
So they used 2 of the abdominal binders from hospital to wrap me up tight
I felt soooo much better almost instantly !
I suggest the grip socks instead of fuzzy socks, hospital floors are slippery so in case you don't wear your crock you have a grip on your socks. Also a small pocket speaker to play relaxing music you like.
I brought my own towel, shower scrub and chanclas 🩴 don’t forget a hair tie. Also maybe take some snacks for after giving birth.
Girl carry on is great! That’s my go to for sure! Plus you can roll it and no need to carry anything!

Long pants PJ’s. It’s cold in the hospital. Nipple pads so you don’t stain your braw and clothing. Good luck! 🥰
Hi Stacey, you're SO cute being a 1st time mom. I have 4 kids, and pls know I've learned what I needed to pack instead of what I wanted to pack in my hospital bag.
Things you'll need to pack for sure:
- gum (dry mouth for yourself)
- baby socks, and 1/2 white baby onesies, a beanie (even though the hospital provides baby beanie)
- baby swaddle blanket or a warm blanket (hospital is cold for them)
-1 cute baby outfit for his 1st newborn pictures at the hospital they have photographers come in and take the baby 1st newborn pictures
Amazon has a great travel bag you can use as a hospital bag. It works great for all your essentials.
Hopefully, this helps. Wishing the best with your new bundle of joy. 😊

Holy moly your pregnancy went by so fast! 😳😩
Deni forsure needs his own blanket you will have hot flashes so you won’t really care 😅🫶🏽
Congratulations.

And Jaundice is soooo common more than half of mommies have to stay extra days from their babies having Jaundice

Baby Santiago Joel is almost here 🤗 Que emocion! ☺️ YOU GOT THIS MOMMA 🫶🏻💙

Stacey ❤ how prepared you are you are doing amazing. Just a little suggestion do a carry on and bring blankets for you and husband 😊
The sound effect with the peri bottle lol
You might not want to shower but after birth it might feel super refreshing so I would recommend some shower slides.
Take a nursing pillow it helps a lot especially if your planning on nursing 🙂
If everything goes smoothly you stay 1-2 days. I've stayed 2 days with both of my pregnancies! 😊 Good luck mama!! ❤❤
I like the suggestion about the breast pump, that’s important
When is her due date does anybody know?
🤔 mm un gorrito y guantes 🧤 y una cobijita para baby …*guantes tal vez no si le cortas las uñas pero un
blanket delgadita para baby si 🙏🏼🤍🤍🤍 can’t wait to see meet him ☺️
Love your viedos ❤ blessings hermosa ❤😊
Yo me lleve mi secadora xq me bañe y no tenían en el baño del hospital, y me hubiera gustado llevarme mi tualla xq las del hospital estaban muy chiquitas 😊
They actually put a binder on if you get a c section. I used it for like 2 weeks and then got myself a different one
There’s no such a thing as planning when it comes to giving birth 😅… I would just say i wish so and so.
Stacy! Out of curiosity can you please make an after birth follow up video of things you didn’t end up using?
Take the carry on! Honestly, it’s going to be so much easier for Deni
It looks like you are all set! My son was 10 pounds 3 ounces, I had no idea he was going to be that big. I got a newborn size coming home outfit and it just fit.
Take your Brest pump so a lactation specialist can see if it fits properly and show you how to correctly do it. Also can’t wait to meet baby Santiago
You need socks for the baby and a few more little onesies, also baby lotion and a baby comb for his pictures..
Your baby is going to love the fan too. I attach it to the stroller in the summer 😊
Trust me when I say TAKE A LUGAGE with wheels NOT A BAG !! It’ll be easier when your leaving the hospital remember your gonna be taking the diapers / wipes that’s the hospital gives you even if you’re not it’ll be so much easier
Love watching your videos Stacey 🫶🏼
Everything you’re taking sounds great! I would bring a carry on maleta, snacks, and a blanket.
You probably won't see my message but I took a maleta (care on size) fit every for me baby and husband so when we left the hospital my husband only had to roll that maleta and the carseat
Coming out of work and seeing a new Stacy & BabyJ video 🥰💖
Coconut oil.. for all skin.. your litp nipples and babys. Because when they clean baby or shower baby the skin will look and feel dry. You can also do vaseline. They will tell you no coconut oil on nipples but do your research. I did it and it worked for me ..baby did grate. My baby girl.. (2)Loves coconut oil till this day.
Also forgot to mention prepare your v. With coconut oil now and just before birth to help your skin stretch well and prevent some or all tears. Best wishes ❤️
😱 You’re almost there! Can’t wait to meet SJ!
