amir listed his reasons in a video and they were very valid. his 5 year gap i believe doesn't allow him to be spent at that rate anymore, hes been playing nonstop since his return and it makes zero sense for him to be run into the ground just so he can "Represent" pak cricket. this will help him and pak cricket in the long run as it will open up a spot for young bowlers and he can be well rested get back in proper form and help win pak cups. fakhar was amazing in ct17 but amir was the one who won us that match, he destroyed the worlds best batting order. so everyone needs to respect him for what he's done and understand logically where he's coming from.
