Finally caught the rest 😂 Thanks for sharing your discoveries and love the enthusiasm as always :') I agree about used sellers on auction-site being hit and miss. Sometimes they'll have listings for something as good/verygood and I'm always suspicious as to whether their pickers will actually pay attention they're picked&packed the right one 😂 I will however give a shout out to, um, fast-chicken, and advise that if you see any book for them on auction-site or South-American-River marked as 'Good', just grab it straight away! Always the smallest of blemishes for a cracking price. [I'm being extra careful with other site names as I mentioned SA-river earlier in the chat and it promptly disappeared, as YT gets touchy 😂]
@@comicsvstheworld you don’t have to tell me you have previous as a serial live stream misser watchbacker! Thanks for watching and hopefully more to come!
Ruins looks like something I'd probably like🤔With Judge Dreadd I recommend checking those single stories they have printed separately as they tend to actually be the better ones though Cursed Earth hasn't aged that well, I think. In Finland they handpicked the best stories(read: mostly Bolland) and published in album format. I regret selling them and will probably try to get them back at some point.
Thanks for the advice! They have done the same here with the essentials line of Dredd comics, but I kinda wanted to experience the growth of the character for better or worse too.
Great video. I've added Ruins to my 'To buy' list. Anyway you've made ya call and all good BUT (well it was always coming wasn't it) when it comes to Dredd don't get distracted by Case Files 1 as its very much a developing series in the beginning. Case Files 2 has two wonderful early stories but pretty atypical. Have to say 3 is good early stuff which gives you the feel for stories and 5 has a classic epic but truth be told there is better stuff than the early stuff. If you get into things The Essential is a better way to go I'd suggest (life long 2000ad fan for context) but obviously folks will find their own way into the stories
@@colinynwa hope you enjoy when you get round to it! Totally understand what you are saying and will hopefully plough through the early stuff and see where I stand after.
Ohh if you fancy more 2000ad I can't recommend some recent stuff to get a favour of what its become. For me Brink, The Out and Lawless all by Dan Abnett are some of the very best genre comics out there, in 2000ad or anywhere. Thistlebone is a stunning folk horror. I'd strongly recommend trying modern 2000ad as folks can spend too much time wallowing on how good the past was, but its as strong, indeed stronger under Rebellion than its ever been.
Noooo! I missed the live stream😭

😂 you danced around well there! Thank you for the kind words as always.
Gutted I missed the live stream Chris. Great as always 👍🏼
It was pretty impromptu but there will be another I’m sure.
I always watch live streams on the replay, and I'll happily watch some more if you want to keep doing them!
