No one is at fault here. Their characters clash. Each should find the person meant for them. Contessa is and has a vision for her life and wants someone who will still be comfy with that and support her whereas her hubby seems to want someone more chilled out who most likely stays in the house, cooks and takes care of the children... From the start, they shouldn't have settled tog. Usually opposites attract and men like to be on top, to be looked up to, to provide direction, to provide and when women are seen to assume that role, they tend to find someone at a 'lower' level. Think Jackie and Simone's hubbies seem to suffer the same fate

I’ve watched Jackie and Curtis & Quad and her ex’s drama unfolded where both ladies were contemplating divorce, however the situation with Scott and Contessa is 360 degrees different. Jackie and Quad do not have children, Contessa has 3. A divorce is devastating to a child. No child wants to be a victim of a broken home. My only hope is that Contessa and Scott take into consideration the children and how it will impact them. I have no doubt that they love each other. Scott wants his children mom to be at home for the kids which is what the children needs right now, yet he feels guilty wanting to surprise his wife’s dream. Contessa is having feelings of guilt that she is not there for her babies to greet them after school, yet guilty of having to place her dreams on hold, of which she would in a heartbeat for the sake of her babies mental stability. I hope that they would take some time off, go on a family vacay with Scott’s niece chaperoning the children, allowing Scott and Contessa time for themselves to rekindle that slowly smoldering flame and realize that their marriage is worth fighting for, if not for themselves, for the children. Their children and the love they have for each other are definitely worth the fight to stay together-together.

Simone's question helps to explain the importance of communicating with your spouse for both partners to be on the same spectrum when making decisions: How it is not fair for one partner to make decisions without the approval of the other. I agree with what Heavenly spoke about & I also understand what Moriah stated because a selfish decision can sometimes affect a partner or children of the marriage.
The way Scott left the seat in the confessional seems a little childish & Contessa does the same, probably to avoid conflicts. This dismissive behavior does not help.
I wonder what makes Heavenly think Contessa is spoiled.
We can see that Scott & Contessa have both made decisions that have affected the other and this is the cause of a problem in the marriage. Their marriage can benefit from MARITAL and FAMILY counseling, I am not sure that going forward only receiving love & support from their friends on the show or the host Andy Cohen is going to be enough to fix it.
Lastly, I think the children, who are the fruits of the marriage, should be taken into consideration; Especially since the quality of the relationship is losing its value.
