This house in an oldest part of Kolkata and a unpopular shrine to Kriya Yogies who follow the authentic path of Kriya Yoga (an ancient yoga) as taught by Rev. Panchanan Bhattacharya (Chief disciple of Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiree). Rev. Surdhani Devi (wife of Rev.Bhattacharaya) born and brought up in this house and her father Sri Harimohan Banerjee (disciple of Panchanan Baba) did establish a grand literature work on nobility and spirituality. Between 1904 -1917, Rev.Bhattacharya's holy feet blessed this house and left immortal energy which satisfies the thrust of seekers till the date. Later on disciples of lahiree Baba like Sri Priyanath Karaar (Yukteshwar Giri), Swami Pranavanand, Swami Keshwananda, Sri Bhupendranath Sanyal, Shri Om Prasad Seth and Maharaja Chirasen Singh gave their presence to this place to see the activity of Aryya Mission Institution. This place was also graced by Rev. Netaicharan Banerjee and Rev. Jiwanlal Choudhury (disciples of Panchanan Baba).
Before visit, please make sure that this is a private house. Please do respect decedents' decision to permit you inside the house.
