Speaking of the power creep since you asked, I feel like the SR-6 is a perfect example of it. The HSL to lasers makes it wicked strong and with your standard heatsink build allowing it to basically alpha twice, might as well be twice as strong. Great engineering on your part sir. One thing you haven't mentioned yet as I'm only 20 minutes into the video and the SR-6 was your first demonstration, is the arms. The arms are literally shields, its the only variant with them, no hardpoints or anything necessary to put in them other than some more heatsinks, twist and block damage with that big ol left arm until its used up while you cool down after a couple 1-2 punches!
I am super excited for this. In the tradition of Macross/Robotech mecha being in this game, this is the Mechwarrior version of the Macross M.A.C. II/Monster. So ready to put the money back to get it and go to battle!
For the SR-6(S) I took out one heat sink and slapped a Targeting Computer in it. Minimal loss on the heat scale because there are so many single heat sinks and you get an extra 5% on the laser range, which helps when using med pulses.
I like running the SR-2 with dual UAC10, 2xLPLas, and 6cSPLas in the arms. Great midrange damage, and the small pulses help a lot when you are inevitably accosted by lights. My best round (after 4 or 5 matched in it) was 968 dmg
ok v silly q .. but if you save a mech build to clipboard how d smurf do you bring them up to reload / look at dem.. i been saving builds a screen shots instead but thats bloody akward refinding rt one too help plz hivemind lol :) got few i saved to clipbord cant get back to them lol help
Something I hope to see is the Fire Moth. Really fragile but it would be by far the fastest mech in MWO, 30kph faster than a MASC Flea with its own MASC active.

the Devs have to start dialing this back or adding more "insane" quirks to underperforming mechs. some of the old mechs are doomed. How many do you never see because they're hopelessly outgunned?
Oof... they're impressive mechs to be sure, been leaning on my small light Big-Game-Hunter builds to out trade, and out maneuver them. Hide, heavy hit, reposition. Slash and Fade. May try one myself once the hype has died down or things even out a bit though. Until then, I hunt.

Not in the slightest. It’s not OP tbh and I’ve seen the being countered with some of my usual quick play mechs. They will be very very good against bad players. Good players will be able to counter them quite easily. In fact I think that they are quite easy to farm at the moment

The Stone Rhino is supposed to have low acceleration because it's a reworked Matar, a failed mech design that couldn't move at all.
Meanwhile I'm still jumping around in my Panther with 4 light PPCs. Definitely feeling under-gunned!
There is a lot of power creep in the game at the moment. Legendary mechs are mostly crazy

Same, and that build actually slaps in T1.
The reason the cannons are so long (In the case of the SR-1 Boomer build), is because of the way the mech is modeled before the weapons are.

Its really nice to have high hard points on a clan assault.
i went with 2 LPL and 12 ERMed on sr6 49x2 dmg alpha^^ not as much as med pulses but the range is 500-1k

You laugh but in Tier 1 i've seen the LRM 120 Rhino trundling around now and then and that thing has ended matches with 1400+ damage.
You can do tons of damage regardless of mech or build if the enemy team lets you.
