He passed away due to Ashley's father. A coyote just did what they do on the wild. That man os an unrepentent monster who dismissed and completely ignored his betrayal. He never even apologized.

Coming back to this makes me so sad
Nimbus went through so much, it’s awful that he died as a result of her father’s negligence. Ashley loved Nimbus so much and always prioritized his health and wellbeing, it’s awful that her own father did not respect how much she loved and cherished Nimbus to where he completely disregarded her simple care instructions.
Blame the coyotes not the humans. She should have taken care of her own dog then… stop blaming, accidents happens. Put yourself in his shoes.

She was on a trip and needed someone to watch Nimbus, she did EVERYTHING to warn her parents about the coyotes being a threat and her father chose to disregard this and leave Nimbus outside unsupervised when he just needed to stand out there with him for 5 minutes. Coyotes are predators so it is the responsibility of everyone watching and caring for a dog to ensure they avoid predators. You can’t hold wild animals accountable, but you can hold people accountable. Her father disregarded her concern about predators, and it’s absolutely absurd to act as though she didn’t care enough when she’s done so much for Nimbus.

Nimbus was defintely a great dog. I remember i would go to Ashleys channel and see a cute fluffy dog walk by. He was such a brave dog that overcomed this. I cant belive a family member would do that. Rest in peace Nimbus

@@shadyKpopFan ok, let's not add ammunition. She could have said, "my father, my dad, my guardian, my parent-" over and over and over again.
She said a coyote killed Nimbus. Her own words. Yes, her father definitely was responsible, he was negligent in his attentiveness towards Nimbus, he is not solely to blame.
There were probably signs of pets going missing in her area, cats and dogs alike. With or without supervision. Coyotes are elusive. They're night Prowlers. Maybe pet owners haven't seen or heard their pets or someone else's going missing until it's too late.
The fact that Ashley had shown her father videos of coyotes jumping 6 foot fences, is proof enough that she was aware there were potential coyotes in her father's neighborhood....
She trusted and believed that Nimbus would be safe and that the odds were low, but not 0, which is why she cautioned her father.
And the worst case scenario happened. Maybe things would be different if she asked a dog daycare to take Nimbus in instead. But we don't know. She did her best, the father is at fault. But she didn't blame him more than necessary.
If he's upset. Which I hope he is, because a death is a death in any circumstance, he's repenting. He's distraught, and is thinking about what he could have done to make sure this never happened. And if he's not, then he doesn't deserve forgiveness from Ashley.

Just saw the video about his death. It’s truly sad how people can be so careless. Ashley warned her dad plenty of times to watch over nimbus and warned him about coyotes and yet he still let her down. Rip nimbus you will always be in our hearts 💔
Came here from Ashley. Such a happy, strong doggie. Nimbus has been through so much only to pass away from the carelessness of someone Ashley should have been able trust. They were both let down.

Thank you so much Ashley, for sharing your baby Nimbus's story with us all. My dog Villo got Cancer 5x and each and every time he fought with all his might to be with us. The day after every surgery, he was wanting to play with his toys and run around, he healed so rapidly. He was our everything and the greatest love of his mommy's life. My baby passed away on 3/21/18 and it was one of the hardest times of my life. He fought Cancer valiantly, but got an embolism after his last surgery. I took him out for his last time and he passed away in my arms. There's not one thing that we wouldn't do for my baby and he fought so hard to be with us too. Bless you and your beautiful baby and know your story hit me in my heart and it will stay with me forever. Wishing you both love and light, my friend 🙏♥️

vannaty - thank you so much for sharing your story! My doxie was the world to me, and I lost him on 12/23/22 to heart disease. It still hurts so bad! I also did everything I could, taking him to the vets every time he had trouble breathing, getting all his medications and making sure he was taking them on a strict schedule, etc. One of my sons told me I needed to let it go, but I can't. The pain is still so raw. The day he passed I received some more pajamas and toys I bought him for Christmas in the mail. I also had wrapped presents, and had to unwrap them and sent everything back. After I returned them it hit me I should've donated them to the shelter! But I was in such a bad state and wasn't thinking straight, then had the guilt of not donating them and losing my baby. I was just a complete mess!
I've been going to shelters to adopt, but they mainly have pits, shepherd's, etc. I would love to have a pit, but I'm disabled and don't think I'm strong enough to take them on walks or handle one. I'm looking for a small one, and can't believe how hard it is. The few smaller ones I found are elderly, and after losing one so recent, can't go through that just now. But I keep looking and won't give up!

@@Santi-ft2rs Hello Santi, thank you so much for your comment. I would like to say, just how truly sorry I am, for your loss. It's definitely a pain, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. One day my landlord asked me to babysit his dog Rosie and I accepted. I watched her 2x, both for a couple weeks. He asked me to adopt Rosie and I wasn't planning on ever getting another dog. He told me she had separation anxiety and said she missed me when she had to go back home. My point is, just when you least expect it, a beautiful pup will bless you with companionship, once again. I still think of my Villo everyday and can't wait until our reunion in heaven, but for now my little girl Rosie needs me. I'm sure Doxie wants you to be happy again. I believe one day you will find another pup, to spoil and love. They will be so lucky to have you as their mama sweetheart. I wish you love and light, my friend. May peace and healing come your way. @@vannaty7 - My dear friend, you have no idea how true your words are! My little Charlie was actually my son's. He found out the girl he was living with at the time was abusing him really bad when he was at work, so he asked if he could leave Charley with me until he moved out and got things settled. I just found out I had cancer and didn't know if I could handle another dog, but there was no way I could say no!
The day he brought him I had my surgery. I was in ICU for a week, then moved to a regular room for almost another week. Coming home was hard at times, as we had a yellow lab and now a weenie dog with an attitude, but looking back I wouldn't have changed anything! Charley made, or I should say "demanded" I get up to feed or take him out, even when I didn't think I could. My husband took care of our lab since he was so carefree and good natured, and Charlie was my responsibility since he didn't listen to him and always gave him attitude.
I really believe in my heart he knew what he was doing! Charley got me through my cancer and also after. I had a freak accident years before my cancer where I shattered my leg, and then developed CRPS. I was always in so much pain and had days I just wanted to curl up in bed and not get out when my pain meds didn't help. That was never an option with my Charlie! He made me move whether I wanted to or not! So when his heart disease started getting worse and he was put on more medicine, I knew I had to get out of bed, cause I had to take care of him just as he had taken care of me.
Our house is so quiet now. We lost our yellow lab to cancer the year before Charley. I know there is a dog out there for me, but like you said, I just need to wait for them to find me, just as Charley found me when I needed him the most but didn't know it.
Thank you for your uplifting note. I can tell you have such a beautiful soul, and Rosie is so lucky to have found you! Best wishes to you and your family.

I know exactly how she felt. I have a dachshund who the vet said had a herniated disk in her back. She couldn't move her hind legs and they said she wouldn't get better without an expensive surgery that I couldn't afford. I resigned myself to making her comfortable, but over time she started using her legs again and now she's back to her old self. From me and my Zoey, congratulations Nimbus.🎉
