- Hello Beautiful People!! So it's been quite some time since my last hair tutorial and I owe you guys big time!! I finally had some free time on my hands and was able to record this tutorial for you guys!! Its a great protective style for the oncoming winter months or a day/night out where you wanna do a quick style. Hope you all enjoy this one! Thanks for watching! :)

You are beautiful && so is your long thick healthy hair! I love your method because it is unique and so smooth. Starting your flat twists with stretched hair is a brilliant idea especially if you're going for a sleek look which is what you have here. Perfect quick and neat protective styling.
I did the flat twist halo before... I looked like Celie from Color Purple lol. I love them on you though. You have very pretty hair and amazing brows.

I did this hairstyle last night and fortunately I had all of the same products but the only difference is my hair is much shorter than yours and I am transitioning to natural. So I did this hairstyle and it came out wonderful. I think that this hairstyle has two benefits: one is being a protective style and two having wonderful curls after that you can wear. Thank you for sharing this

I have my transitioning hair out and make last minute plans so I have no time to do a twist out or rod set. So I go on youtube and type in halo braid and your familiar face pops up. Thanks for the tutorial! Very proud of what you're doing.

Great tutorial! While variations of this style go by many names - Goddess Braid and Halo Braid (among others I'm sure) - this is the first time that I've seen it done by twisting the hair instead of braiding it. Due to the humidity in the summer, I prefer to do a style like this instead of wearing a wash and go all the time. My halo is not as neat as yours but I'm sure with practice, I'll perfect if over time. Thanks, again, for such an easy-to-follow tutorial!

Thanks AlleySinai, I will watch this again as I try to do my hair in this protective style. I over manipulate my hair and I am loosing my edges, mid stage alopecia as I found out from the Green Beauty Channel page. And I also like it because I cannot cornrow but can do twists.
