Well, to be honest, beast form and vampire lord are totally OP. But let's not kid ourselfs, in Bethesda games, even on legendary, after only a couple of hours every player that skills halfway decently, is OP...
Even if werewolves can't yeet away enemies with telekinesis, they can still 2-shot a giant or a dragon, with the right setup. In my opinion, they're more op than vampire lords.
As a Lv. 75 Vampire Lord/Nord chick, I prefer vampirism over werewolves. I just use Auriel's Bow to block the sun. Plus, it's super easy to get the perks. Just go around killing anything living (not undead) and boom. Master vampire in less than an hour.
You don't even need auriels bow you just need something to increase health/stamina/Magicka like i use a necklace that gives me 65 more health and it regens in the sun and i have deathbrand armor which increases stamina and it regens in the sun and i don't use magic so i have nothing for magic and it dosent regen
I personally go for Detect all creatures as soon as possible. It is extremely useful for finding random wild life in the nature, to gain rest of the perks :P

Werewolf is way better. Let the sun weakness of vampires aside and they are still better, and here is why: The main attack vampire lords use is the drain life spell. And it does nothing of damage - seriously. I always play on legendary difficulty and it's so damn boring to spam this spell at a bandit marauder like 30 times before he finally dies. And now imagine a bandit cave with 10 marauders inside! Yeee fuuun...... not. The gargoyle isn't helpful because the drain life spell hits it as well as enemies, the vampiric grip/ corpse curse abilities cost way too much mana even for the Lord Form + if you miss you're f*cked and the claws are so useless that you sign you're own death as soon as you land. The werewolf on the other hand is the exact opposite of boring because you have 3 different standard attacks (left claw, right claw, both claws), 5 different power attacks (left claw, right claw, left claw while moving, right claw while moving, sprint attack) and 3 different finishing moves (claw-shredding, lacerate the throat, decapitate) to use in the wolf form, and every single attack is used a lot (at least by myself). You can run faster than a sprinting horse, you deal acceptable damage and when you howl all the enemies flee. Even on legendary it's easy to play as a werewolf just because of the howling and the ability to pitch enemies to the ground.

The only thing I'd point out is that it would have been great if the gameplay sections actually showed the skills you just talked about, for example, we saw the mist form at the beginning, not right after you talked about it. And the power bite was ignored. Just a minor detail, and I know it would be more work to edit. Keep up the great content!
RoboGameBoy64 if you're playing on special edition then I suggest going to mods there is a Dawnguard dark Ally mod which will allow you to work with the Dawnguard provided you have vampire dust the amount needed depends on each player and I think it's stated in there how much each character requires

Well, there is a batman-like build where you are an rich @$$hole by day and a meele murderer with nigthingale armor by night (and pretend you don't kill people).
Actually the bite attack animation isnt a "chance" as you say it is. The bite animation happens whenever you kill an enemy with a melee power attack. To get the bite animation the enemy you power attack has to be at low enough health that they would die by the attack otherwise. That's when you get the animation. I use it whenever my health is low and im low on magic.

Note that you should probably hold off on getting Nightcloak if you want to use the Vampire Lord form for Dark Brotherhood kills, as if you do have night cloak lots of collateral damage will be done.
Many people prefer being a werewolf, I can see why. You can maul blood dragons, be badass, not be a villain if you would prefer to stay good and also GIVE ME ALL YOUR VALUABLES OR I’LL GUT YOU LIKE A FISH. Then you do the maul animation then feed on the thief’s corpse.
See now this makes me reconsider my usual stance on the Vampire Lord, but I still generally prefer werewolf bc it's easier to level up, at least for me. But a lot of these perks are insane, so maybe I'll give it another go
Emily Broderick it just makes more game play sense because non of them are better than a warrior at being a warrior, non of them deal better damage from a distance than a good archer, so you will usually benefit the most from being a mage and the vampire lord gains a lot more from magika than a werewolf.

Its actually pretty good these perks: ¤ you can teleport to diffrent spots using bats ¤ you can use the vampire drain spell to deal damage and heal ¤ you can resurrect powerfull dead bodies to help you ¤ you can use vampiric grip to both stop enemies from attacking and deal damage ¤ you can move very fast in lord form ¤ you can summon gargoyles to ravage enemies ¤ ill say more soon

I just want to go into first person as a werewolf/vampire lord. I don't think the vampire lord looks that good, and itd be easier to aim spells. Werewolf would just be to first person Rip And Tear
Get them all for the trophy/achievement, then get the cure. To finish the companion quests, do the same with werewolf perks. Once you unlock all the trophies/achievements, never disable mods again
Possible Alternative(if you don't like vampires): After you destroy the Volkihar vampires at the end of the Dawnguard quest line, make a save and have Serana turn you. Dismiss her, go on a rampage across Skyrim for a few hours, then after you fill out the perk tree and get the achievement reload the save. No cure required.
With sacrosanct everything is worth it. And a tip for anyone using sacrosanct and better vampires that can't feed, organize your load order like this: Better Vampires & Sacrosanct Patch Better Vampires Sacrosanct What this will do, since there is a bug in the current version (4.00), which makes feeding/draining impossible, it will replace sacrosanct feeding with better vampires feeding to an extent.
There is something so satisfyting about enemies talking shit and not realizing you are a literal vampire lord like marcus from underwold. You can fight them in your regular form but if they talk to much shit transform on em and take em down a peg.
My canon for my vampire charachter is "he joined the dawnguard to slay vampires and kept on that quest until the soul cairn when he realize that the vampire power is essential to be strong so he became a vampire but the dawnguard were disgusted so he changed into a human for one last time and then experimented wity lycan blood before realizing that a vampire life is the only life
FudgeMuppet, I know this video came out awhile ago. I've recently gotten into your videos and love them, great job. One thing I noticed about the power attack/bite is that you do it more frequently if using your left trigger (controller). I don't know about PC but I assume it's the same for right click. I find that an enemy at low health that will die from one power attack, if you left power attack, you can and will do a bite. It happens for me on a 70% basis. What do you think?
The further away a target is when you grab them with vampiric grip, the faster they will be pulled toward you, and you can use that speed to slingshot them miles away.
Throwing a giant off the top of a cliff with vampiric grip= worth it. Especially if you use the paralysis perk beforehand the glitch is priceless. Up down swirl around on the ground and back up they go it doesn't hurt them when you do it like that but keep doing it and imagine the frustration they must be feeling and laugh.
Vampire lord is the most OP playstyle in the game in IMO (besides enchanting + smithing). You do not die. Almost every power and ability keeps enemies off you or gets you health. Just look at him throw around that giant.
Supernatural Reflexes is probably the strongest perk investment in my opinion. everything slows down, but you don't slow down as much. So, you can dodge arrows and spells, aim your life drain spell, and backpedal away from mele fighters all at the same time. It ends up being similar to mist form except you can attack while using it.

Just here to mention that in my first playthrough I was an argonian vampire battlemage, on one of my quests I got rushed by 2 werewolves (on expert difficulty) and I killed them both with my poison claws as a VL
Ik this is old but the power bite you have to hold down the attack button when their health is like one hit away from dying. You can do it multiple times a fight. Just hold down the attack button. Happens 90% of the time
Ahh fond memories of playing Dodge the arrow... Yeah master difficulty with an armor rating of 0 and a life pool of about 250 ( yeah yeah could just use ebony flesh but that's not fun ) it's all in how you use the skills for instance vampiric grip requires you to focus on one target while curse of the grave let's you just stop that pesky Archer and force it to focus on your gargoyle while you can then grip the orc with the hammer climbing up your backside letting you toss him away and thus killing 2 birds with 1 stone though I honestly only go vampire on mage for that one blasted ring +100mp and +2 mp regen=I win ( for those that don't know the ring of the erodites mp regen adds to your base mp regen of 3% so it's added to 5% meaning 5 mp per second per 100 mp added to 100 mp changes your minimum regen to 10 mps add a +100% mp regen item changes your base 5% into 10% rather than 8% due to the ring adding base mp regen it doubles as well ) and yeah I probably misspelled the rings name it's been a while sense I played and yes this is way late good for you for noticing ( for the odd random reader not the channel )
I personally find it really funny and awesome just throw people using vampire grip spell. Also It is really OP when you stack the magicka. I killed Ebony worrior just simply throwing him of the cliff and followed where it landed to get the loot.
Of course if you're playing a pure mage from the start, with almost everything dumped into having a massive Magicka pool, Vampiric Grip becomes sustainable for a long time, so once you have Night Cloak, particularly pesky enemies that hit harder than you and don't go down easily can just be suspended in front of you until your bats suck them dry.
I think vampiric grip was under emphasized here because of fall damage. Whenever I run into a tough humanoid enemy, really just about any humanoid or normal sized animal, no matter how much more powerful they are than me I just toss them directly up. The fall damage in Skyrim is so rough that I usually knock out a quarter to half of their health with a single good toss.
I always go detect all creatures first, as with that I can go out in the middle of the night and just hunt. I find getting that to be the fastest way to max out all the perks, without having to kill a ton of humans, because wildlife is fair game too
I really loved the vampire Lord form but tbh it's so op that it just gets boring eventually since there's only one skill tree and you get perk points really quickly. I kinda wish there was more of a struggle to get "better" than there is, it's just not as rewarding as it could be imho
Not sure about the special edition but on the 360, I could consistently do power bites by getter an enemy's health low then doing a power attack. So blood healing was quite useful for me

See now this makes me reconsider my usual stance on the Vampire Lord, but I still generally prefer werewolf bc it's easier to level up, at least for me. But a lot of these perks are insane, so maybe I'll give it another go
Emily Broderick it just makes more game play sense because non of them are better than a warrior at being a warrior, non of them deal better damage from a distance than a good archer, so you will usually benefit the most from being a mage and the vampire lord gains a lot more from magika than a werewolf.

i mostly prefer the werewolf over vampire because werewolfs have no ill effects to speak off, yea you can not get well rested but that isn't something i ever think of using anyways and in turn you gain desease resistance, increased mobility and a satisfying gameplay experience, poping off heads, mauling people or just throwing them arround like rag dolls ism ore fun than throwing spells at them, the same one, over and over.
even if my current build calls for a vampire i'll often become a werewolf first, allowing me to discover many locations quickly so i can fast travel near any location i'll have to visit later, minimizing the need to travel under the sun.

Put Corpse Curse on an enemy and then Vampiric Grip but make sure they're spinning when you pick them up the results are amazing

As a vampire lord my character is actually much weaker than normal because he loses the amazing gear i've crafted

Getting these perks is such a pain in the neck.
Definitely get them all. Being an immortal vampire god is amazing. I cannot recommend it enough.
Its actually pretty good these perks:
¤ you can teleport to diffrent spots using bats
¤ you can use the vampire drain spell to deal damage and heal
¤ you can resurrect powerfull dead bodies to help you
¤ you can use vampiric grip to both stop enemies from attacking and deal damage
¤ you can move very fast in lord form
¤ you can summon gargoyles to ravage enemies
¤ ill say more soon
One tidbit to add is your choice of race is important before you accept vampirism. Either Dunmer or Breton helps to alleviate the weakness to fire.

Interesting you used the creepy volkihar castle music. I remember defeating harkon and miraak. I felt like a legendary member of the belmont clan.
Get them all for the trophy/achievement, then get the cure. To finish the companion quests, do the same with werewolf perks. Once you unlock all the trophies/achievements, never disable mods again
Possible Alternative(if you don't like vampires): After you destroy the Volkihar vampires at the end of the Dawnguard quest line, make a save and have Serana turn you. Dismiss her, go on a rampage across Skyrim for a few hours, then after you fill out the perk tree and get the achievement reload the save. No cure required.

There is something so satisfyting about enemies talking shit and not realizing you are a literal vampire lord like marcus from underwold. You can fight them in your regular form but if they talk to much shit transform on em and take em down a peg.

FudgeMuppet, I know this video came out awhile ago. I've recently gotten into your videos and love them, great job.
One thing I noticed about the power attack/bite is that you do it more frequently if using your left trigger (controller). I don't know about PC but I assume it's the same for right click. I find that an enemy at low health that will die from one power attack, if you left power attack, you can and will do a bite. It happens for me on a 70% basis. What do you think?
The further away a target is when you grab them with vampiric grip, the faster they will be pulled toward you, and you can use that speed to slingshot them miles away.

Throwing a giant off the top of a cliff with vampiric grip= worth it. Especially if you use the paralysis perk beforehand the glitch is priceless. Up down swirl around on the ground and back up they go it doesn't hurt them when you do it like that but keep doing it and imagine the frustration they must be feeling and laugh.
Vampire lord is the most OP playstyle in the game in IMO (besides enchanting + smithing). You do not die. Almost every power and ability keeps enemies off you or gets you health. Just look at him throw around that giant.

Supernatural Reflexes is probably the strongest perk investment in my opinion. everything slows down, but you don't slow down as much. So, you can dodge arrows and spells, aim your life drain spell, and backpedal away from mele fighters all at the same time. It ends up being similar to mist form except you can attack while using it.

Just here to mention that in my first playthrough I was an argonian vampire battlemage, on one of my quests I got rushed by 2 werewolves (on expert difficulty) and I killed them both with my poison claws as a VL
Ik this is old but the power bite you have to hold down the attack button when their health is like one hit away from dying. You can do it multiple times a fight. Just hold down the attack button. Happens 90% of the time
You should do a top most worthwhile shouts. My favorite is become ethereal combined with the feim meditation from partysnax. Ethereal Warrior/mage op.

Vampiric grip is the strongest spell in the game. Get it as soon as possible.
Ahh fond memories of playing Dodge the arrow... Yeah master difficulty with an armor rating of 0 and a life pool of about 250 ( yeah yeah could just use ebony flesh but that's not fun ) it's all in how you use the skills for instance vampiric grip requires you to focus on one target while curse of the grave let's you just stop that pesky Archer and force it to focus on your gargoyle while you can then grip the orc with the hammer climbing up your backside letting you toss him away and thus killing 2 birds with 1 stone though I honestly only go vampire on mage for that one blasted ring +100mp and +2 mp regen=I win ( for those that don't know the ring of the erodites mp regen adds to your base mp regen of 3% so it's added to 5% meaning 5 mp per second per 100 mp added to 100 mp changes your minimum regen to 10 mps add a +100% mp regen item changes your base 5% into 10% rather than 8% due to the ring adding base mp regen it doubles as well ) and yeah I probably misspelled the rings name it's been a while sense I played and yes this is way late good for you for noticing ( for the odd random reader not the channel )

I personally find it really funny and awesome just throw people using vampire grip spell. Also It is really OP when you stack the magicka. I killed Ebony worrior just simply throwing him of the cliff and followed where it landed to get the loot.

Of course if you're playing a pure mage from the start, with almost everything dumped into having a massive Magicka pool, Vampiric Grip becomes sustainable for a long time, so once you have Night Cloak, particularly pesky enemies that hit harder than you and don't go down easily can just be suspended in front of you until your bats suck them dry.
I think vampiric grip was under emphasized here because of fall damage. Whenever I run into a tough humanoid enemy, really just about any humanoid or normal sized animal, no matter how much more powerful they are than me I just toss them directly up. The fall damage in Skyrim is so rough that I usually knock out a quarter to half of their health with a single good toss.
If you know the glitch I do you can be both races and get all perks, so I'd say get em all just for the hell of it
if you use the lady stone it negates the no health or stamina regen a bit i belive 25 percent but 25bpercent regen is better than no regen
I always go detect all creatures first, as with that I can go out in the middle of the night and just hunt. I find getting that to be the fastest way to max out all the perks, without having to kill a ton of humans, because wildlife is fair game too
I have been playing Skyrim since it’s release on 11-11-11 and I was today years old when I found out that you can pick up and throw a giant.
I really loved the vampire Lord form but tbh it's so op that it just gets boring eventually since there's only one skill tree and you get perk points really quickly. I kinda wish there was more of a struggle to get "better" than there is, it's just not as rewarding as it could be imho
Not sure about the special edition but on the 360, I could consistently do power bites by getter an enemy's health low then doing a power attack. So blood healing was quite useful for me
I would love to see you guys do a lets play of a necromancer character with ordinator and undeath maybe a dark elf because dunmer are awesome as fuck

Few things are more satisfying than throwing a giant into the air with Vampiric Grip.
Iusually get gargoyle near the end, summoning it runs the risk of it basically kill stealing, causing you to level up slower.
