I love her voice sm but why low note vocals are always underrated.
As an alto myself, I felt that personally. Someone who had a lovely low voice was Karen Carpenter. She was a huge star then but I’ve not seen many alto range female singers doing as well as she did.
Her voice is strong and deep. That’s why she’s the perfect back up. It’s not that she can’t sing… they just play on the groups strengths and highlight them. In 10 years when they all do their own solo projects you guys will see. They all superstars solo, and a force of nature together

She has a naturally deep voice that's beautiful, and she doesn't have to strain it to match the common high-pitched trend in Kpop, which sometimes doesn't suit every artist. If ADOR could compose a song tailored to her vocal strengths, it would showcase the beauty of low, mid, and high notes of each NJ members. Minji have confidence with your voice because its beautiful and pleasing to listen.

I guess because she got a little deeper voice. Usually girls that got the deepest voice of their group become rappers even if they are singers and never rapped. Moonbyul from mamamoo is a perfect example. I hope they at least won't turn minji into a rapper even if she got less lines
