That needs to be top priority. *Water filtration system* As you yourself pointed out you can make it, do it. *Lantern trees* grow fruit you need to pick the fruit. It's a really awesome stat boost all round. *Seatruck depth upgrade* needs spiral clippings found in the gigantic vent gardens (the gigantic jellyfish) looking thing. You can go inside it and find it there! Once you have the rebreather go into the *mine* you desperately need to. I'd say it's more important than upgrading seatruck depth at this point. *Radioactive crystals* can be used to make nuclear fuel for the nuclear reactor once you have the blueprints. Finally don't bother with the booster tank as it means your oxygen is capped at 135. You'll want to focus on higher capacity instead and you can't wear both. You'll need both the laser cutter and propulsion cannon for exploring parts of the crashed ship. You passed the spiral plants in the last episode. They are found in the Ventgardens (the massive jellyfish things you can swim up into) and the deeper parts of the purple vent area. Both spiral plants and gel sacks can be planted in an outdoor growbed. Speaking of gel sacks, they are decent for the bioreactor but the best items for it are the root pustules (you have a couple) that are found in the deep kelpy areas near your base

you can find spiral plants which are used to get spiral plant clippings which make synthetic fibre in ventgardens (the huge jellyfish thing you saw last episode) or around the alien artifact you found in the purple vents, also last episode. they are white trumpet shaped plants with red spirals surrounding them. you went right next to one at 42:23
Water filtration machine and gav trap for food, once you’ve got your essentials set, you can travel and explore more rather than wasting time for food n water. Also be a moot goblin more and fill up those lockers as You can make a prawn suit
Any time you return to your base, make sure you place your Seatruck in the Moonpool (or Dock), so it automatically charges the Power Cells. Then when you enter your base, take the Batteries out of any tools you used on the trip and place them in the Battery Charger (make at least 2 of them, with some spare Batteries in them too so they'll be fully charged already), so they can recharge while you do your base stuff (getting food and water, storing items, etc.). Speaking of the base, Growbeds are OP. You need to find the Exterior one too, because many plants can only be planted in the water. Gel Sacks, Ribbon Plants and indeed the Creepvine are a few of them. Spiral Plants (you need the Clippings of them) too, but you first need to find them. At 42:20 there was actually one next to the fragment you scanned. The Interior Growbeds are used for other plants that can only grow on dry land. I think you only have the Lantern Fruit so far and that is unfortunate, because they don't give water. Several of the plantable fruits give water too. In my playthrough I don't use Bladder Fishes anymore and I haven't even build the Water Filtration Machine, because I only eat fruits for water and occasionally I drink the water bottles I find when exploring. In a tunnel/cave on the Delta Island that you already went through a long time ago, there were Horseshoe Shrub trees. You can pick the Shrub Nuts off them and plant those in the Interior Growbeds and they'll grow into small trees. Once grown you can harvest the Shrub Nuts and eat them or throw them in the Bioreactor (same for the Lantern Fruit and other plants by the way). The trees keep regrowing their fruits over time, while most plants despawn when you pick them up so for those you ideally want to right click them first for a plantable seed.
Use the compass at the top of the screen Josh . If you don't have a beacon when your at a location you want to remember look at how far away you are from base say 1000m and compass says North then when you want to go back from base its 1000m south . Cant wait for next episode
I would suggest getting an air bladder, it pushes you up to the surface in mere seconds even when you’re 200 metres down, as long as it’s a clear way up of course. It’s saved me many times
Fun quality of life tip - If you come to complete stop or so and hit the default key ' x ' you should start auto driving/swimming/running ect ect. Could be useful if ever live streaming and wanna read chat/donations or long recording periods where you wanna tab out ( not sure if alt tabbing pauses the game though) but wanna give your fingers a rest or do something else. You just have to point the camera in the direction you wanna go while in auto pilot mode. Hit a movement key to cancel out of the auto run.
Hey Josh, I like this series. I notice you have trouble a lot with lack of materials. I would suggest looking for more module fragments for your seatruck. If you travel south about 200 meters from your base where all the metal rods are, you then want to go deep down maybe 500 meters. I would suggest leaving your seatruck at the 300 meter depth and going deeper with the sea glider. There should be many module fragments for the seatruck. There are storage seatruck fragments, fabricator seatruck fragments and more. Adding them to your seatruck would allow you to store a lot more materials and make items when you go out on expeditions from the base and less likely to lack materials constantly
Grind the hell out because you will need more and more minerals for sea truck upgrades, prawn suit, scanner room upgrades, ultra-high capacity tank, rebreather etc. And do not be dependent on sea trucks, they cannot go into caves and tighter areas. Love the commitment to the series though.
Just some tips for you Josh. You can attach your moon pool. You might have to rotate it. Also make a bio reactor. It’s easy and really helpful and last a long time. Love the channel and thank you for showing me a new game. I’m playing it right now and I love it.
Hey josh love the content but just want to say you should try and get the scanner room hud chip which makes all of the outcrops you scan will pop up on your in game hud so it’s easier to farm things like titanium which you are always struggling on
I said it last video. I really recomend That you start a proper farm because i found it was the best and most effective way to get food and I also found that having a nice farm and making it look good was also very fun
Would you be willing to try out some of From Software's games? Such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne etc. They're notoriously difficult but very rewarding at the same time and I personally find them to be very enjoyable games, to play and to watch

josh get the seatruck dock instead of the moonpool because when you get additional modules for the seatruck they can be docked with it

You can build bulkheads in your habitat builder in the doorways of your base and it will improve the hull integrity by 7

You should make an Air bladder that makes you rise to the surface when you use it, it’s super helpful if you about to drown
