Appreciate you putting your plays out here, the good ones and the bad ones. Anybody who plays cash regularly has made bad plays before and everybody can keep improving. I already commented on the 88 hand, and I've made a worse play than that before lol. It happens. Even though yours got through, analyze it and be better. Unfortunately mine didnt get through so I've been forced to analyze it more. Sometimes we forget our bad plays when we end up winning lol. Great stuff as always
Hey for whatever reason im just stumbling across this comment now. I wholeheartedly agree. Been working on shtuff and i think my game has improved a lot since vegas (mainly thanks to a few friends of mine who are cracked). Hope all’s been well man, gl on the tables
Great vlog! Keep at it bro. You have a good sense of humor (which is entertaining) and you’re providing your thought process (which is helpful to us rec players). You’re on your way to TH-cam stardom! And this comes from a serial poker video watcher. I’ve been with Nemee from the start! 😂
🎉 Great videos, had to back to the beginning and watch them all, also going to share a few w friends. Good luck on your journey. It’s going to be hilarious to watch.
Good session, post flop play Soo improved good for you, I'd like to see you get some more live reads at the table, and information on how people play, the A,K guy, will continue to play the exact same way for the entire session so take advantage of that
Thanks Pat! Definitely improving with each session, still got a ways to go though. I’m finding more ways to exploit people’s tendencies, like the ak guy as you mentioned. ill try to include some more info in future episodes cuz there are tells and various signs i pick up on in real time
On the 98c hand at the end, I think you played it well. You were deep and you had c. 60% equity on the flop (unless you put your opponent on specifically 77, 66 or 33, which seem more plausible holdings after you are check raised. If they were opponent's holdings (he could have had two higher clubs too like KQc, KJc, KTc, QJc, QTc too ) then you saw a turn and had a decent chance of seeing a card that would give you a hand that probably loses you your stack (non straight flush club) ,might win stack (straight or flush turn and non pairing turn and river) .
@@MDPoker Not to spoil my results thus far but next episode is rouuugh haha, so i feel ya bankroll wise. Definitely a memorable trip, wouldnt want it any other way
@@corey_eyring your jam makes 0 sense on the river. 89 is never checking to the BTN after the PFR checks on a 2 club board. Not the board to slow play. Lucky it got through. I'm snapping with all 1 pair hands. He must have had AK. What are you repping? J10s? Probably the only hand that checks through on turn that could maybe jam river for value.
8c9c I think you played perfectly. If you check the flop, then call the turn, you have your opponent on a much larger range. Then if you hit your straight or flush you’re definitely going to lose more if he indeed flopped a set and turned you dead. Don’t hate your play at all.
With the 88 hand, I possibly fold most of the time to the 4bet because youre out of position and you are only getting 11-1 implied odds. That said, I do try to call in such situations with 99-77 some small % of the time 10%-15% otherwise you can get a bit run over by light 3 bettors. The BB's c-bet is - imo - suspiciously small or small cos the bb is scared... The pot sized bet on the turn in my online games is most often strength and as there is an overcard on the board and I'm oop, Id fold on the turn. I never give people homest answers about hands later, either so his saying he folded AK is to be taken with a pinch of salt. I always pick the worse hand possible or just say I had 72o if anyome asks me what I had.
great point about the suspiciously small flop sizing. I noticed that when editing, had I been aware of that in the moment I think I would've called down all 3 streets
Dude if you want sick....out of 7 hands one night I got aces 5 times. No matter how I played them I got no action.I slow played them 3 times and no action and I raised twice and no action.NO DICE. Funny enough on another night out of 8 hands I got dealt jack 9 either suited or off suited 5 times and I cleaned up with 2 boats and 2 trips and 1 2 pair.I raked in 1600 inside of 30 minutes.Funny how the game works.
I don’t understand why you think the river is a better spot to bluff then the turn, unless you were simply worried about the button player being committed. Why on earth would you ever check turn with a straight, 2 pair, set, etc. it doesn’t make any sense. Your hand honestly looks like a busted draw. I think you probably had The best hand here tbh, no way he’s snap folding AA
I agree with both comments. The more I thought about it, the less my jam makes sense. I'd never check turn with a straight, set, etc. I also like my flop bet with 98cc, great board & actual holding, the CR from opp gave me necessary info too. I still continue on most brick turns. thanks for the comments Bertrand! I'll keep improving
Let's go back to the first hand. You made a good jam by accident because your thought process is way off. If utg had monster he'd probably size up on the flop and bet on the turn. On the other hand, when you check turn you're super capped and you no longer have all the hands you mentioned. On the river you only represent some weird slow play with 98s and 76s. So, most likely, utg bluffs river with two broadways. Button has one pair similar to yours and both players will never call your raise which is good for you.
thanks for watching! please share with someone at your table :)
More people need to find you most under valued poker vlog out there right now
Thanks John :)
I only recently became aware of your channel. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite.
Alright young man you got me hooked. Entertaining, funny, insightful poker. Got my 3 sons watching you now too👍🏻

I didn't expect to love these videos, but here I am
That is indeed what we love to hear
Great vlog - decided to go from the beginning 🥳 how much did you pay the dealer on a 5 hour session in Vegas? Just curious
at about 3:335, the comment about flying 1/2 across the country to play like a,,,,,,,,,HILARIOUS!!!! another great start to this video.
That combo draw fold..... well done trust your read

You have no shortage of balls, Corey.
honestly that jack is a great card to start bluffing on when you double block the nuts and could credibly have 89
Agree - i like where my heart’s at but i need to start bluffing on the turn

First vid I watched, how do you remember everything that happens? And why do you have to go so far to get to casino?
I write everything in my notes. I don't *need* to per se, but I wanted to play in vegas
The 88 jam should just be a call on the river given the action. Seems like he just had ace high and ur only getting called by over pairs

He had AK. Nice hand.
thanks!
On your JJ hand, the utg should actually have a stronger range than you give him credit for as you're 3-way on the flop not heads up , imo.
Why didn't he get that last club?
Consuming alcohol at the poker table will take your game to the next level. You should do that.
88 fold vs 3x 4b sizing OOP just too many bad run outs where he can put pressure on you exactly like he did
I would have folded the 4 bet, but I'm a tighter player in cash games. More aggressive in tourney's.
Get a manicure. Lol😂

Btw think the flop bet with the 98c was correct, great board for your range and actual hand, just unlucky your ran into it vs the cold caller
