    • @gamma_centauri
      @gamma_centauri 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** well, it's half and half. Parts of it are Stopmotion, do, the movement, but to render anything floating and the water when they are in the ocean and facial movements are all edited. So, in short, the character movement and walking or driving is Stopmotion, while facial expressions and sound is edited, as well as anything that floats.

    You know what, this is one of if not the only best animation in a brickfilm. The animation + lighting makes this a masterpeice. 24 frames per second is hard and to see a person make a 8 MINUTE video SHOT AT 24 FPS is so darn respectable. Also the animation tells the story perfectly. I actually turned the volume down and showed to my friend (who didn't see this brickfilm) and he understood everything perfectly. You are probably the Best brickfilmer I've ever seen cause of this.

    Don't know if you still read these comments, but i just wanted you to know how much i appreciete this film. Most of the brickfilms are just a showcase of cool tricks you can do with lego, and they lack the basic elements that make a good film. But your films, it has it all. Proper shots and editing, well-thought lightning, working sound design, enjoyable characters, and most importantly, a great story. And that's really hard to do with lego. This film must've taken a really long time and a lot of effort to make, you are really talented. Absolutely great work!

    Its so funny and unexpected where it takes everything, it doesn't do any movie stereotypes, it does have character stereotypes but there done in such an obscure way that its unrecognizable to predict want will happen like the evilness character dying almost instantly in the first 1/4 of the film really throws an unexpected factor, the chardonnay joke is so well funny XD and the two scorpions fighting at the start was so anticlimactic and hilarious.
