Because he is special and likes to feel like he's in the right when his dash cameras would only provide proof of his incompetence
People often like to point out parts of the highway code but don't remember bits like:
      Rule 144
      You MUST NOT
      -drive dangerously
-drive without due care and attention
-drive without reasonable consideration for other road users.
      Rule146
Adapt your driving to the appropriate type and condition of road you are on. In particular
-where there are junctions, be prepared for road users emerging"
And at least another half dozen times it tells you to be considerate and to not cause an issue
Just because one line says priority in one situation doesn't give 13# a licence to be a dick
      Sorry for the rant

"YES" from a legal standpoint the accident was the fault of the BMW but also "YES" you could have so easily avoided that even being an incident. Just because they should give way doesn't mean you're ok to just deliberately and knowingly drive into an accident. These cammers act like they have zero responsibility or accountability for anything that ever happens so long as they have the "right of way", forgetting that the Highway Code literally states "The rules in The Highway Code do not give you the right of way in any circumstance, but they advise you when you should give way to others. #9: There are SO many collisions on that stretch of road. People seem to think they have good visibility and time for an overtake, but it's a fast road and closing speeds can be 120 mph if everyone is doing 60 mph. Very many drive this road well in excess of the speed limit, and there are often tourists on it, not used to driving on the left, in left hand drive cars, which compromises visibility even further.

How was the Truck driver 'actively blocking' the car driver? The nose of the car appears on the left corner of the truck with an indicator on and in the blind spot for a truck. The car then tries to bully a truck out of the way when the car driver has failed to observe every rule around moving lanes and using mirrors and signals. Using your indicator does NOT give you priority over other road users, it's simply a way of letting others know of your intent to change direction and then they can (if they are safe to do so), adjust their own position to allow them in. but they don't have to. You are either the driver of the car, someone who doesn't drive, or just very ignorant and likes to troll.

You can see the car has entered the Truck drivers blind side on the left, and hasn't attempted to pull forward, but simply indicated and driven into the truck. This has nothing to do with the truck driver and more to do with a car driver not paying attention to what's around them.
