I am confused (newbie) btw the special Editions of the TCN that came out in 2019-2024 vs these other items that aren’t SE but are sold regularly but only in the stores?
Hi there! TSL is short for The Superior Labor, which is a Japanese lifestyle brand that makes leather, canvas and brass products among other items. They have a store in Kurashiki, Japan where you can customize brand new traveler's notebook covers with their patches, leather pockets, etc. TSL partners directly with Traveler's Company to do the in-person customization service and is the only officially endorsed customization service by Traveler's Company. As for the traveler's company notebook covers, there are a few that are only sold at specific Traveler's Factory locations (Traveler's Factory stores are official Traveler's Company stores where they sell all things TN). For example, the Tokyo Station TN I bought is only available in person at the Tokyo Station Traveler's Factory. The Narita Airport Traveler's Factory and the Kyoto Traveler's Factory have their own exclusive traveler's notebook covers as well that you can only get when you visit those stores.
