The rule of thumb for inverters like your setup is you need 2x the capacity of your highest draw. Therefore you need a 3000 watt inverter to run your 1440W load. Then, there is your battery. Remember that your load of 1440 watts returns an amp rating requirement which is for 120V, not 12V. But your 12v battery will have to provide 120 amps of DC current to the inverter. This is a relatively high current draw, which is typical when dealing with low voltage (12V) and high power (1440W) applications. Such setups are common in automotive or marine electrical systems, where 12V is standard but high power demands are frequent, but in order to stop your inverter from having a low voltage reset (drawing that much current from your battery will lower the voltage below your cutoff in less than a minute with just your one battery), you'll need a battery bank of about 5-6 of those batteries in parallel. Thanks for the review of this unit, I have been considering buying one, and therefore whether this brand may be a better build quality than lower priced competitors to justify the higher price point.
