Once you have completed training you will arrive at your battalion, join a platoon and start preparing for whatever is coming up. That includes exercise and deployment on operations.
Any update on the sickle cell blood test that was introduced in January? I’ve been waiting for a test since February 5th and can’t start until I do the test
Best thing would be to call your candidate support manager. They should be able to give you a timeframe on these things. I wouldn't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine
These are very impressive young men. So dedicated. I would not like to fight against these soldiers. I was very impressed with these clean cut young men.
I'd recommend taking one and an iron, also take a sensible back pack and suite case. Try saving some money before you go in and don't over pack to much personal stuff, learn to live with what your issued. Be prepared to change the person you are, if you can't accept change and the fact you will have to fight to be a soldier, then don't bother turning up and wasting there time.
Just sent my medical consent form back, hoping to be in for the end of next year but honestly I plan on going all in until It's a reality regardless of how long it takes!

I would love to do this so much, unfortunately I have borderline personality disorder so there isnt a chance in hell I would pass the medical. Respect to the armed forces 🥀
People who put their life on the line to fight pointless wars for oil barrons are not all there anyway.
I’ve always thought about joining the RCS reserves as a historian and signals officer in London, but not a bit fan of training tbh lol. I’m not overweight but I’m not super fit either. Also my ADHD and OCD might make it worse :(
@Alex 28 go fight for the queen who is a massive share holder in oil fool.
@@paul-sr8qk please take your tinfoil hat else where
@@paul-sr8qk Said like a bloke who has absolutely no chance in doing what we do! Good luck in life pal 👌
Love how they have ironing boards. It is super nice that they are wearing suits too! (:
All part of the process🤙
The army is very underrated
Just turned 16 a few weeks ago and I'm going to my infantry awareness activity in less than a month I'm excited I'm only away for three days and I get to book time off school for it :)
This looks so cool! I have always dreamed of working on the dog section. Is the training pretty similar?
Me too! That’s why I’m watching this because I’m considering it now
@@cal9957 good luck, its a contested job
I watched a video on US drill camp, and then I watched this. Seeing my country treat their army properly puts a smile on my face.
I mean, the world should stop needing millitaries, but i am pointing out the difference.
I don't understand what you mean by "properly"
@@anfrex3342 with dignity and respect, not endless shouting and emotional degradation.
I'm 13 Planning to go to the Army But im sensitive and Yh...
Do some research and see whether its for you, you might be surprised!
I’m 13 as well mate looking to join when I’m able i believe we could do it you just gotta be yourself
Same here but I’m not sensitive
Really high quality content..thumbs-up
Much appreciated!
I’m going this August
Good stuff, keep watching to see how these guys develop over the coming weeks
Same here
Good luck 😊
Anyone watching this preparing for going, but also shitting bricks and getting nervous watching all this, but also at the same time excited.😬
Also amazing video! Thankyou!
Haha thanks for watching!
Jesus christ this brings back some memories. Good and bad
I'm in week 13 just done tac one going into week 14, the lads have got something to look forward to
For your sake, take yourself off your profile with reg dress on. Especially as a Crowman
Good luck with phase 2
Can non-citizens/foreign nationals join? How difficult would it be and how often does it occur at least in your experience?
Will be joining the rifles on 26th july. Nervous but cant wait to start training.
Once you settle into life in training you'll really enjoy it 👍
@@djrxp thanks cant wait.
How long did it take for your confirmation to come through?
Going to AFC Harrogate Soon! WHOOP WHOOP!
Good luck!
This is to all those wanting to join. If you are a clean person, organised, healthy and work great as a part of a team showing responsibility, leadership skills and can handle pressure in any situation. Then you'll pass without any problems. If you are just the opposite then you will have issues.;)
Is it difficult for a commonwealth member to join the British army
Hey wanted to ask i sent back my medical forms however i have mild allergies will this stop me from moving on to the next stage🥺 please reply
Hi Sara - I am not a doctor but if they are mild I am sure you will be fine. Best thing is to call and ask your Candidate Support Manager who can talk you through it. Good luck!
Using emojis like that will
Microwave I’m at Harrogate now just go with a positive and high mindset go in and go in hard
Pretty sure if you’ve got a nut allergy they might not due to rations. Unless it’s changed ofc.
Ron Lancs thankyou so much
Respect from 🇮🇪. Our nations had a very bad start but at least the Irish army and the British army are training together and serving overseas together in places like Mali and previously in Kosvo, Bosnia, afghan and other countries
Hey bro im sorry for our history
What happens when u finish all your training and stuff do u get deployed
Once you have completed training you will arrive at your battalion, join a platoon and start preparing for whatever is coming up. That includes exercise and deployment on operations.
djrxp thx man
13 days absolutely buzzin
Brilliant, what regiment do you want to join?
Can I join the British army at the age of 19 without college degree?
Yes
I think you can join as an officer at 18 and a soldier at 16 (not sure off the website)
You can join the army as a hobo mate
As long as you're fit and don't have offensive tattoos 9r tattoos that are above the neck then maybe. But surely you'd need some documents etc
@@AhmedAhmed-hu3he can I get ur number so we can talk better on whatsapp and pls put ur country code on the number
Wow, I'm learning a lot in this video
I'm glad its helpful!
seeing a lot of women joining now, nice to see the changes i guess
Yes, women can now join the Infantry. Many have already completed training and are at their battalions
@RESIST your pathetic you fucking loser they are out there fighting for our country, and what have you done? Your probably some fat ,sweaty, virgin
@@djrxp It's at a lower standard so I think this is very problematic.
@@grahamhill676 yeah but after the selection they are held to the same standards
What’s the crack with all the ironing boards? The white table with a horse hair blanket on and starch sufficed when I joined in 1986!
Haha I guess things have moved on just a tad!
Any update on the sickle cell blood test that was introduced in January? I’ve been waiting for a test since February 5th and can’t start until I do the test
Best thing would be to call your candidate support manager. They should be able to give you a timeframe on these things. I wouldn't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine
dope vid! respect from singapore
Thank you!
Trying to teach them to iron like guardsmen I see. Though you'll never be as good as us xD
Great vid again mate
Legend - cheers pal
British people be like: “Odd bloke that one”
These are very impressive young men. So dedicated. I would not like to fight against these soldiers. I was very impressed with these clean cut young men.
Thanks for the comment Tom!
Great video,I have applied and am currently waiting for my medical
Hoping to join the tank regiment
Good luck!
Waiting for my assessment date can’t wait to get into it
What regiment do you want to join?
British: takes oath to serve the royal family
Americans: takes oath to serve a piece of paper
Gonna start basic on september first in Germany. Already excited
Good luck!
At 01:30, why were some of the boot's toe caps yellow?
I'd recommend taking one and an iron, also take a sensible back pack and suite case. Try saving some money before you go in and don't over pack to much personal stuff, learn to live with what your issued.
Be prepared to change the person you are, if you can't accept change and the fact you will have to fight to be a soldier, then don't bother turning up and wasting there time.
3:48.... How is that locker still intact? I remember a lads whole entire contents of his locker thrown out of the window for less than that.
As the 1000th comment, I must state:
2024 was a shite year for y’all still in 2020!
Brilliant video, thank you ⭐️
Thanks!
Just sent my medical consent form back, hoping to be in for the end of next year but honestly I plan on going all in until It's a reality regardless of how long it takes!
That's a great attitude to have. I'm sure your forms will be fine and you'll start training in no time. Make sure you keep preparing💪
@@djrxp thanks mate, appreciate the support! prepping every day.
@@michael.waddell Good man, keep it up!
