1 - add turbulent displace to your text
Size : 10
Amount : 10
Now click on v next to evolution options
Now go to random seed, hold alt,
Alt + option on mac, and then click the time watch on random seed, you'll see a text, remove it and say time*10 and your done 👍

hi mutuals, im kinda new to ae, but can you explain/make a tutorial on how to let words fade up with the song (so when the song says something at the same moment the words will fade up on the screen) ?

i'd say keyframe it until it lines up with the lyrics, don't forget to easy ease and add motion blur so it moves smoothly (fade up words is probably a good effect for that)

i have a problem, maybe somebody knows. i started my after effects in german but changed it to english soon but for some reason all those text animation presets are in german and I literally cannot use them. every time i drag one on the text layer, it just doesn't appear. i dont know what i was doing wrong and i always wondered why I didnt find all those basic presets
