It's great to see boys starting the game so young. I never touched a ball until my sophomore year in high school, which was the first year our school had a team. Now our program is teaching the sport to kids around 10 years old and I'm happy to be helping out with them and seeing how they develop.
Last year (sophomore year) we tried to start a petition to start a boy's volleyball team. We actually got a lot of signatures but our principal said that our division didn't support it :( I really wish we had a team.
Seeing this makes me wish that I started playing advanced volleyball at a younger age. I mean I started playing volleyball is 4th grade, but that was all park league. Now I know how to actually play volleyball, but I'm in my freshman year. No regrets though.

Im 15 and the rest of my team are 13 im the captain,my teammates do full swing in a 7'11 net they were taller than me im the setter i do hard jump serve it will wreck them

In those three years I didn't learn much about playing volleyball but I learned a lot about how important the team is and what it means to be a teamplayer.

O nível infantil daqui é bem melhor, os times se posicionam muito bem, e muitos atletas que saem da seleção estadual vão para a seleção Brasileira Juvenil e são selecionados por times profissionais. great game for these kids :-) #11 of 352 elite has a great potential.. he is good in blocking, attacking, digging and aiming a target from the service line.. great defense for the team the puerto rican kids are great also esp on how they attack but their errors are hurting them esp on reception. mabuhay

While I was watching it, I was all lucky because I spent a lot of time playing volleyball and I wanted to play on the court. I was amazed at how good they were. I hope there is something like that in the Philippines, not later, but when I hope there is volleyball, I want to join and on the 1st, if it's against the court, I'm still young, I'm only in grade 3. we can fight other countries

im kinda sad that in the Philippines, our nationals (aka Palarong Pambanse) isnt like on tv and i was able to even play on the elementary boys...I was grade 6 at that time and right now I am grade 7. But still i was happy I could compete in our nationals but im a bit disappointed that we werent on TV but only livestreams ;-;

Estoy de acuerdo contigo. Por lo menos en Puerto Rico se fomenta el Volleyball y otros deportes desde pequeña edad. Mi familia y Yo nos mudamos a USA hace un par de años. Mi hijo juega Baseball y Volleyball desde que tenia 4 años. Este equipo de volleyball ya tienen 17 años. Mi hijo juega con ellos desde los 12 años que es el partido que viste. Un saludo y gracias.
