    My favorite effect ever. Just sounds so pleasing to the ears and can be Huge ! And Leon Todd just casually shows the whole world how to utilize it in 5 min! Now I have to learn to play the guitar to sound better..

    It's almost like a double tracking to thicken the sound. Was looking for something similar.

    Obsessed with your playing style, its 80's grease, 90's grunge a tiny sprinkle of nu metal and the right blessing of lord and saviour Petrucci. I'm glad we live in an age where loving Winger and Alice in chains is finally okay

    Thanks for the quick single note pop at 4:40 so we can hear how many repeats on the delay , helps with the dialing in , killer sounds and playing , Thanks

    The pitch block is such a key player in getting some 80s sounds and especially VH from the balance album. Leon I know you have the axe3 and FM3. Curious which one you gig with primarily. I have an FM3 and I’m looking into possible upgrading to an Axe3. I know I’ll need a rack case which is fine. I would also like to get the FC12 controller. Adding an entry level IEM to the case would eliminate the FRFR I currently take to gigs. Curious on your thoughts….and anyone else who is in the same boat or has been.

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  ปีที่แล้ว

      FM3 has a flight case so that one gets a lot of use but you won't be disappointed with the Axe-Fx as a gig rig - I borrowed a friend's Axe-Fx in melbourne this week with an FC12 for a show and it was incredible

    Great video Mate! Offtopic question: I cannot seen nobody make some capture or profile with an isolated guitar track from an concrete lp like Eddie's sound in VH I OR II, or with some stem of Vai's plays alone in a TH-cam video. I don't know If you understand what I mean.

    God that sounds so good and I just started watching.. Man, that sounds good in headphones! Those guitar tones are sooooo good!
    Man, that sounds so good.. That riff rocks brother! I swear we have the same parents or something.. 😛 We both like the same licks to nth degree.. 😛
    That tone is glorious for sure.. That's the come to jesus delay and detune 😛
    Thanks man for letting me here some great stuff this AM.
    I"m working on my strat and almost finished and I put the pickguard on with the two EMG's and the neck pickup is too big to get in the route, so I have to chisel out some wood this evening and then it's off to the races. I just have to solder the input jack to the pickups and I'm ready to go! Can't wait to make some killer guitar noises this afternoon. I've been playing my Charvel with Schaller floyd mostly in the last couple years and now I'm back to Strat land and the 6 point trem and EVH setup to make it work. It's good.. If you setup the trem right it works 90 percent of the time if not more even if you really yank on it.. 😛
    I like anything that goes bang or twang.. Bows, Guns, guitars, etc.. 🙂
    Be safe brother and well.. I'm off to paint with my mother and then go to the diner and work and meet all the cool people in town that I just love!
    Regards kind sir!
    Tim

    What do I think?🤔
    _Never unchain the night!_ 😫
    Driving Interstate 240 just entering the exit ramp to Interstate 40 East sometime around 2 in the morning while driving a red 1984 Camaro and the phazed riff part in the middle of that song hit as I perfectly downshifted her into second gear wide freaking open.👊🏻😬⛓💥
    Yeah,,,,, that ramp had a nice bank on a decent curve and the Camaro wasn't entirely stock.
    🤘🏻😇💫💯 and climbing as I came off the ramp still pressed into the seat and hammer down. Good times.

    Hi Leon! I'm wondering if I could ask you a question about your Ceriatone Molecular? I'm thinking about ordering one but I'm a bit cautious because I can't try before I buy. I know you have a Marshall DSL50 which is an amp I'm very familiar with. My question is: If you had to compare the DSL to the Molecular overall which do you prefer for tone & feel? I'm aware that the DSL is more versatile with two channels but that's not my main concern--just how much do you like the Molecular? Thank you very much. I'll be sure to like and subscribe. Great playing btw!

    Hola como estas, miro muchos tus videos deberías tener 1 millón de suscriptores, mira tengo una inquietud un amigo me venden un Fractal AX8 yo necesito un equipo para tocar en vivo worship y covers de rock en vivo y para ensayar en casa (practicar y explorar) es que actualmente tengo pedales Strymon (timeline - Bluesky - Mobius) y no quiero bailar entre cables interpedal fuentes de alimentación, y cosas así, me recomiendas Fractal AX8 en 2023 para lo que yo hago pues me parece que es muy compacto y tiene un gran sonido.

      @@LeonTodd Thing is I just bought a Tonex and I thought I was set on buying the BOSS SDE 3000 EVH but I've been watching your vids on the H90 and I think I would get a better bang for my buck going for that...
      If you don't mind I would love your opinion, I love EVH/80s delays and that the SDE 3000 EVH can provide that especially with the W/D/W outputs but on the other hand if I'm correct the H90 can achieve something similar to the SDE 3000 along with the ability of having far more effects (and of course there is other ways to achieve the W/D/W). Plus the H90 paired with the Tonex is quite a portable board!
      So if you had choice between the 2 in this situation which would you go, Boss or Eventide?

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aureliakida6041 the H90 is going to be way more versatile if you only want one pedal. Check this out th-cam.com/video/0AhxIq3Teyc/w-d-xo.html
