I have experienced and learned a few things in my short time of retirement. Off the cuff, these are some things I learned #retirementwisdom #retirement #earlyretirement #retiredlife #fire #financialindependence
@@OurRetireEarlyJourney what is funny is I make daily and weekly tasks for my self still ... It feels normal and like I accomplished something still. But the tasks might be silly like dishes, or laundry... Or dog park etc. and it's totally fine not completing them all.
From your words, it seems to me that the meaning of retirement for people like us (trustworthy individuals with a good name and an excellent social reputation) is still not understood in the right way. Everything we have gone through and accomplished in our lives was just school, just a general rehearsal. This is what the world wanted us to experience and learn. "Our" feeling-"our" decision to retire-means that the world has decided we have completed the "internship" and that it is time to apply what we have learned outside the incubator called "work." Why? Because the world needs us; it believes that the current situation requires people like us to help align and stabilize its trajectory back on track. From my experience, there is a brief period of confusion and an attempt to revert to what is familiar to us. However, in a short time, you will begin to feel a sense of attraction toward a certain activity that will involve people-completely different from what you are accustomed to. But once you realize that you are meant to do this, everything you have learned and experienced in your life, is meant to be used exactly for this, suddenly, you will begin to blossom again, and the real work will begin.
Very wise words, my friend, thank you for that. This is what I believe as well, its just finding a new footpath that I like that isn't being used by everyone else. Sometime being lost is what we need to be in order to find ourself. I am in no rush to find that path just yet, until I explore more paths. Very good feedback, thank you for that, I am thinking I will take your words and expand on this soon.
Time Time Time. We are both so task driven and have lists to complete in time. All that sounds nice not to worry about time.

Well explained. Time to waste. Who cares what day it is.
