The struggle is soo real with looking expensive during the summer months. I try to stick with flowy, light weight materials and natural cotton. I've tried linen blend pieces and I love the look but the material is very irritating against my skin. My latest style obsession is the Cottagecore aesthetic and I'm seeing it from brands like Abercrombie, House of CB and Reformation.

I just find the Oran sandals too casual for the price. The Oasis (the ones with a low square heel) Are better IMO but they have some complaints of not being very comfy. Steve Madden has amazing dupes for the Oran. Also a good pair of sunglasses will add a little elegance to your summer looks. Great video girl 👌🏾

If the sandals you’re eyeing with are real Hermes get the heeled one so you can show the quality in a professional setting. If it’s a dupe just get the casual style I don’t think casual clothing worth so much money to spend on but that’s just my own way of thinking. Also, make sure that they’re very comfortable to walk in before spending so much money on sg so you get great use out of them 🤗

Linen fabric is the best material for summer, i have linen dresses, shorts, and white linen shirts (cotton too, but you have to iron). I found them in HM, Mango, Zara..

Hopefully Octavia see this but I was in H&M for the first time yesterday and while i was shopping around, i asked myself what would Octavia buy lol I picked up a blue, black, and grey basic along with some cute lounge shorts that can be worn both in and out the home. I'm still learning and discovering how to be comfortable in my skin, what looks good on my body type, along with what colors look good with my dark complexion. She's helped me soo much and boosted my confidence through her vlogs and style videos💜 anyways hope everyone is having a great day :)

I couldn’t wear a satin dress. It would just show my mummy belly and cling to the wrong places! A prefer a satin shirt for my top heavy body type. I’d love you to do a what to wear for body type video!!

Honestly to this day I still get stuff on my white clothes but it always comes out so it’s not a permanent stain. All in all it takes practice.
