Oh Kirsty I think you’ve made this way too hard on yourself! All you need for the aquarium nail part is a NO C CURVE TIP and a FULL COVER TIP on top. They stick together perfectly. Lissette Cruz is the absolute queen of doing these nails she’s done so many now they’re almost foolproof. Give her a watch she would love to hear from you ❤️🇦🇺
Would you consider doing some videos where we can submit questions that you’d answer? For example I’d love to know why some polish has a sticky layer and some don’t, and why you’d want to use them in different situations. I’d also love to see you show all the ways to attach a sculpting form to achieve the different shapes of nails. Seeing them next to each other would be super helpful I think!!!
Kirsty, there is a TH-cam channel that does really beautiful aquarium nails, long, not bulky & filled with all kinds of goodies. Lissette Cruz is her channel. It's a small channel, but she does really amazing aquarium nails. I'm really loving your experiments with this aquarium theme. Also, love the long video. I could watch you and Adam all day! 😂 Your amazing and luv your channel so much As always sending you positive vibes and blessings from Northern Indiana USA 💀🌹
I loved them, they are really incredible. I hope one day you can do a Helluva Boss nail design, I'm sure they will look amazing on you since you are very good at drawing on nails and creativity
Tip: 😊Coconut oil is the best oil thus far that I've used for these it's more of a thinner consistency and help everything glid more but baby oil as well works. Just a very small bubble 🫧 would be best or none at all really is just preference. If u use a Sculpted tip for the top will give more surface area and won't limit the inside circumstances inside the nail. The higher the apex on the Sculpted nail that's used as the bottom nail will take away from the inside due to that higher Sculpted apex of the nail. Hope that makes sense if your doing it with two full cover tips. If using a flatter non Sculpted tip for bottom an Sculpted for top will work better an everything will fall from top to bottom as a fully full cover Aquarium nail.hope that makes sense? And I hope it helps anyone. ❤ yall got this! ❤ much love keep doing amazing work!
honestly kirsty i’ve watched a million aquarium nail videos and this one i have found to be the easiest step by step tutorial to follow. thank you for always creating such wonderful content, your videos bring my creativity back when im in a slump
I've been following you for years and you impress me still every single time you do anything... I bet you'd kill a wizard of oz set.. Maybe for my last wish... I love you lil duck...🦆🦆🦆🦆
Might be a Stokie thing Adam, because my Dad learnt me how to plaster, brick lay, maintenance the lot! I think he knew a bloke could never put up with me 😂😳. I’ll carry on watching the video now 😁
My son was scream for Halloween maybe5 years in a row and i had to buy a different mask every year and he had the one where you pumped the blood!!! Love your designs you are amazing!!!💀🌹
I think you have to try it and make all the mistakes you need because you have to know what youre doing wrong. Also working in a way thats comfy for you. As alond as the stuff move and no leaks ...you're winning
The nail is cool. Love the blood on it and insinde the nail.❤ I've seen others use a bigger nail to go on top of the bottom nail. I've seen others make a piece to go on the bottom of the nail. Made out of hard gel, acrylic. Measure from the end of your finger to the end on the nail. That's how long it should be. They make the piece flat & on a piece of backing from a form. Hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. But it can be done different ways. Hope those was helpful. ❤🤗
Your aquarium nails are the most interesting to me. I, personally don't wear nails, but your videos are relaxing to watch. I learn so much. I would love to see it if you did another aquarium nail that's Christmas themed, winter themed, or one that incorporates the aurora borealis. Everything you do is beautiful. Thank you for being amazingly you!
This is one nail I had to figure out right away! LOVE THEM. You actallly dont have to topcoat the underside. The oil makes me gloss as soon as its filled😍 the most fun part is learning how make them perfect with no filing❤ Loveeeee them❤
Possibly something heavier like caviar beads or pixie crystals to help the knife or whatever’s on the inside move through the aquarium. 🧐 still a banging nail! That looks like a nail and not a giant tank on the back. 👏👏👏 bravo as always 🙇♀️
Love this idea and design, and how wearable and not bulky it looks. I wish you had a US distributor, I’d love to order your acrygel and the tube squeezer bc I do my own nails and only use acrygels and absolutely LOVE the tube squeezer, lol, but $50 plus for shipping is a bit crazy. Still love you and I’m hoping for growth and expansion of your business!
I know you can do great things. I love your content and love watching you. You are an such an inspiration and I've have watched your videos so often and multiple times. And thank you Adam for reading my comment.
In order to seal the oil in the nail properly...use the back of a styling form and simply paint a small square of clear top coat and cure it. You can then peel it off of the form and apply some top coat to the tip edges of the nail and then place the square you made on the sculpting form on top of the opening and cure. Then cut around to fit and apply another coat to make sure it's sealed properly.
😮 Very Cool 🎉 I’m not a nail technician so, I’m confused about the air bubble staying in. If you want to remove the air bubbles you can simply use the same need to extract the air bubbles from the liquid 😊 I am probably 89.9% guessing that you are determined to get this perfect and you will try again 😂 looks perfect to me ❤
Have you seen the method with bling gel? You mark where the nail bed ends (on a full cover tip), lay bling gel down on something laminated from the free edge to your nail bed mark (leaving the nail bed part off of the paper), and cure it. Then seal up whatever end you don't want to use, make sure there's no leaks, create your aquarium, seal up the other end and bammmmmmmm. 💜 There's a kit you can get too with a similar concept. Your acrygel would probably work exactly the same too.
Kewl! Kirsty! I love the way you do nails, you always splain it gooder than most, ( except da bling?) sorry Fay, Just can't do da Bling? Been follerin you a loooong time, i'm a poly gel or acrygel girl tho, and usually use dual forms, to shakey anymore for forms and acrylic, lol, Love always from Ky
Can u plz let me kno where u purchase ur practice fingers at? Ur soo awesome at everything u do with nails! Ur the to go person when it comes to nails! ❤😊
Yes Adam, I knew about people drinking wine instead of water. Wow. Was that in the same days of the rich people being sick/urinating/pooping up the corners of the room so they could carry on eating & drinking?
The aquarium part of this nail, to me, got lost under the scream mask and blood. I think just a bit of blood dripping on top would have showcased the aquarium knife better. Then, another press on using the scream mask and blood as part of a press on set.
Generally, people use a syringe to inject the oil so that they don't have any air bubbles at all. If you have air bubbles, it gives opportunity for the things that you want to float to get caught in the air bubble itself or in the air and stuck to the side of the nail. You should try making one with no air or watch other videos to see why they don't want any air.
Kirsty my love, so I don't know if you guys have seen where you are a product called dashing divas semi-cure gel polish stickers. And that's exactly what they are they are nail stickers to put a solid color or design made of gel that is semi-cured you fit it to the nail you file off the excess or cut it off and then you cure it. My question for you is is it possible to make those yourself?
i think initially you wouldnt like doing aquarium nails because you make your own things to put in and if its not correct weight or size thats the problem. Most of us making aquarium nails will put small things like glitter or small thin precut items from nail stores.
Kirsty, I have enjoyed your videos for years, up until recently. I have spent hundreds of dollars of your products, because I am a licensed nail tech for forty years in America and I like your products and education. But honestly, the intrusions of all the voices on the periphery, are off putting. I watch to learn from your knowledge and expertise, not extraneous comments. I'm watching for you and you only. Please go back to the original content formula. Your talent is fascinating. Everyone extraneous of you, has been important, but just like Jim Henson, no one is entertained by production staff. They just want to view the star and the show. I think what I would like to impress on you is... when someone is wanting to learn the expertise and discipline that you are conveying they want to be able to focus on your process. You and you only darling. You built this. You're enough.❤
You've been watching her for years and never noticed Adam in the background? 😒 He's been in her videos for several years and he's an important part of what makes this channel so great.
Like it but you couldn't see the knife behind all the blood and maybe just have a couple drips on the face instead of just messy blood on it. Thanks, love your work!!!!!!
Oh Kirsty I think you’ve made this way too hard on yourself! All you need for the aquarium nail part is a NO C CURVE TIP and a FULL COVER TIP on top. They stick together perfectly. Came here specifically to suggest Lissette Cruz. She's the best at aquarium nails
Thanks for the tips!
Pun intended??
So Glad You Told Her Because Ms Lissette is 1 of The Best To Do It Luv Her..
I came to say the same thing! Lissette's how I learned to do them as well, and mine always come out perfect with minimal effort! ❤❤❤
Would you consider doing some videos where we can submit questions that you’d answer? Screw apples then, “a vodka a day, keeps the Dr away” is far more fun… and it kinda rhymes, thanks for the info Adam 🤣🤣 xx
I knew Adam was going to take the piss IMMEDIATELY! lol you gotta say, the man knows Kirsty well. 😂
Hahaha we knew there would be more aquarium nails 😂
I loved them, they are really incredible. I hope one day you can do a Helluva Boss nail design, I'm sure they will look amazing on you since you are very good at drawing on nails and creativity

I'm going to try coconut oil!
When it gets cold won't the coconut oil firm up ?
same thought@@abbewells7564
Kirsty is the MASTER QUEEN of everything nail but seems to struggle with aquariums 😂 Im glad its not just a me problem 👍🏻
Love the Scream design “what’s your favourite scary movie” I absolutely love SCREAM 🩸
I could hang out and chat with Adam all day long. 😂 He knows as much "useless knowledge" as me and my boys call it, as we do. 😅
How on earth did I get here first?🇦🇺❤️
😂😂
honestly kirsty i’ve watched a million aquarium nail videos and this one i have found to be the easiest step by step tutorial to follow. thank you for always creating such wonderful content, your videos bring my creativity back when im in a slump
thank you😍
Adam's insistence that a knife is more easily recognized in one orientation made me giggle a lot
Water doesn't work for aquarium nails, Santa Snow Globe, or aquarium nails for Christmas! 😮 so pretty
Adam! Spoofs disappeared when everyone got offended at everything! It’s sad as they were great craic!
I've been following you for years and you impress me still every single time you do anything... I bet you'd kill a wizard of oz set.. Maybe for my last wish... I love you lil duck...🦆🦆🦆🦆

I haven’t seen one of your vids in forever, the first time in year or so I’ve been notified omg so excited!!
Water-based food coloring also works really well for blood in aquarium nails based on other videos I’ve seen.
I hate scary things but realy love your craft! You are the best!
Peacock nails would be wicked! Love to see it ❤
Kirsty this is so cool! ❤❤
P.s. every time someone says baby oil now, I think ewww Diddy! 😂

Aquarium nails are awesome and a big hit! I appreciate you doing them sweetheart 😘
You are so Talented!!! Thanks for the theme Nail
Ooooo yeah I want to see her version of peacock nails!!!!
I love the art so much but the aquarium part didn’t add much for me. The design works well without it. So talented!

This is just how i do my aquarium tanks
Adams thinking of spoof films I think they were called but yeah when the scream mask got stoned that was funny
I know you can do great things. I love your content and love watching you. You are an such an inspiration and I've have watched your videos so often and multiple times. And thank you Adam for reading my comment.
Ps i love the vibe you and adam have you work so good together, and thank you for reading out my comment x
So freaking cool. I love Halloween nails and Christmas but I do my own and I take them off the day after the Holliday.
Has Adam never heard of a “Lipstick”?
It’s the opposite of a “Bull.”
Yes we can see the difference in the nail tips!❤❤
I really wish you would do the secret door one!!! I remember when I first seen it and I asked for you to do it ❤
Love your work Kristy,
Glycerine mixed with a little water water is also another good substitute, that’s what’s in snow globes.❤❤

🥺hii love!!! I believe that food coloring works great for those blood drops you wanted
Yes keep doing aquarium nails 😆
excellent video!!! thank you for sharing ❤
So glad i managed go get to this video early for once❤️ I love aquarium nails😍😍 cant wait for a good christmas set💗
I absolutely love your artistic talent. You have such vision. Your nail designs are always amazing! Wishing you continued success. ❤
Can't wait to see these nails!!!
I love your videos. I am always learning something new.
It came out sooo good!
Appreciation for how fast your gels level out🥺🦋
I see what Kirsty sees when comparing the two nails’ apexes/height.
You rock the halloween nails❤❤❤❤
Have you seen the method with bling gel? Nailed by Brandi does it
Amazing amazing. I love it.
Love your attention to detail and persistence when you're creating these nails. The results are amazing!
I love your videos, makes me want to start doing nails again.❤❤❤
You are reallyvery talented 👏
Ok, found it!!! Sydney3three makes custom tank full cover tips! Maybe order some and do another set of aquarium nails?!?
I’m a recovering addict and while that was mildly triggering it’s definitely proof that Kirsty has never done h*roin. 😆
I agree lounge wear ❤❤❤❤
Top Secret is the best!! Val Kilmer is so great in that movie.
I think the Kylie Jenner blood nails you did would look cool for a Halloween idea
This is SO COOL. I'm behind on watching your videos. Life has been kicking my ass lately. I'll catch up eventually. I hope. ❤
Love it,next time using paint put the oil in first then the paint won't stick to underside of the nail..need paint more watery...
He is right coz water was so hard to get and it was so hard to filter and that's why the salors got scurvy to
Kirsty you did amazing and i love the Ghost face and all the blood ❤ that lil knife = super cute. Thanks for sharing 59:22
I love it. so cool
Kewl! Kirsty! I love the way you do nails, you always splain it gooder than most, ( except da bling?) sorry Fay, Just can't do da Bling? Bravo super magnifique kirsty bisous de la France bisous martine 👍👍👏👏💅💅😘🥰🇨🇵🇨🇵💐🌹🌹🌹
Very cool...
Can u plz let me kno where u purchase ur practice fingers at? Ur soo awesome at everything u do with nails! Ur the to go person when it comes to nails! ❤😊
What about using a pressurised air canister to get the dust out? Or drilling the top part before assembling? As always, the nail was bomb 💣
Kirsty do You have any info on using acrylics or gel polishes past it’s labeled time stamp?
I think the item's inside need to be heavier. I imagine baby oil will be perfect for this too. Much love from the South Coast xx
Is there anything our Kirsty can’t do 🥰
If you like funny movies that make fun of other movies you need to watch ...A haunted house 1 and 2 😂
Yes Adam, I knew about people drinking wine instead of water. Wow. Was that in the same days of the rich people being sick/urinating/pooping up the corners of the room so they could carry on eating & drinking?
Hi, could you have mixed the oil and paint in the same syringe then inserted it into the the nail? Love all your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The aquarium part of this nail, to me, got lost under the scream mask and blood. I think just a bit of blood dripping on top would have showcased the aquarium knife better. Then, another press on using the scream mask and blood as part of a press on set.
For the full set you should do Michael Myers Jason Voorhees Freddy Krueger and pennywise or jigsa😊w

My question for you is is it possible to make those yourself?
Maybe adding alcohol ink instead? Like a dark red burgundy ink in with the oil? Or would that mix in too much with the oil?
i think initially you wouldnt like doing aquarium nails because you make your own things to put in and if its not correct weight or size thats the problem. Most of us making aquarium nails will put small things like glitter or small thin precut items from nail stores.

(Singing) Lady in reeeedd lol looks gud on u ❤❤❤
Great nail tutorial. Creative nail design and they are super great for Halloween nails. #jofayfashion
Like it but you couldn't see the knife behind all the blood and maybe just have a couple drips on the face instead of just messy blood on it. Thanks, love your work!!!!!!
I miss your wonky nails
Wow Kirsty 😍
❤
❤❤❤
Hi ya duck. ❤❤❤❤
There is never anything in stock on your website, it’s so frustrating 😢
Please use baby oil next time I want to see lots of movement! It would have been perfect for this one especially with the water!
