There’s some parts of Texas where you can catch Spotted, Guadalupe, Largemouth, Smallmouth, White, Striped and Hybrid bass all in the same river system like around San Antonio.
I love the smallmouth videos the best - it's long been my contention that smallmouths, pound for pound, are the best fighting fish around...the combination of strong runs and aerial thrills. I wish we had them down here in Louisiana - they're a rare treat for me.

I picked up a Fishpond westbank wading belt a while back. It's very comfortable to wear all day. Plus it has a holster in the center of the back for a net. You should check it out.

that's a beautiful spot. Great place to drive right into in your truck if there is a decent road and take the family and camp for a weekend. Plenty of shallow water to play with the kids and plenty of fishing water.

There is another spot off interstate 24. Where you cross over sycamore Creek. There is a cut through that is right next to that bridge on the interstate. If you park there granted park at your own risk. I heard state troopers will give tickets but I see people park there all the time. Work your way up stream to where there is a lay down of trees and crap. There is big big bass in that hole both small and large mouth. You’ll know it when your there cause you’ll be able to see them. I have tried fishing it several times but they don’t bite anything I through at them. If your up for the challenge you should give it a shot.
John I been fishing the Brandywine creek in Wilmington Delaware. Throwing a Kietech shiny worm and a hellgrammite. Not getting anything. So many deep holes and calm water along the creek. Don’t know,,, seems like your always on the fish.
It is definitely over fished! Best bet is get ready for a hike cause most people aren’t going to wanna walk far to fish sycamore Creek. I actually take a part of a day and walk upstream towards the interstate. Fishing is good near the interstate forsure.
