A good place to buy a used vehicle is a reputable car rental business because they service their vehicles frequently, and sell their older vehicles to make room for new stock.
Doesn't cost nearly that much. If they live where good hay is grown and keep them at home you're talking no more than $200 a month each, all inclusive.

One thing I did do was cleared my 8k card instead of paying tax, deferred it for as long as possible. Extra couple hundred bucks makes a huge difference
