@@el7jakeyes. Shawn herself said she enjoyed her season 15 more. only because she was older and more confident and already knew what to expect. she was only 16 her first season and very new to dance.
I think is having more fun because she is more mature and knows herself more than when she 17 in season 8. She doesn't have to,prove anything this season.
Her lines are beautiful and she extends every point. She can also do things that even the professionals can't do because of her athletic skill. Beautiful and nice too. My favorite dancer on DWS whatever year you choose.
I used to think Shawn was a good gymnast. Now I don't think she's a good gymnast, I think she's a Great competitor She can just do anything she sets her mind to. She brings it.
Shawn looks like she’s having some much fun in Season 15 and looks like a professional seasoned dancer not to take away from anything she did in her first season with Mark that they won the season. And I really like Melissa and she’s a great dancer and she should be in that she was a professional Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. But I thought Shawn should have won the All Stars Season as well. She and Derek set the stage on fire week after week and were SPECTACULAR!!!
Derek basically lost the competition for Shawn by not following the rules of the quickstep. He let his ego get in the way, as usual. You're not supposed to break hold in the quickstep and they told him that the first time they danced it. So it's like he disrespected what they said and did it his way. Carrie Ann told him after they danced that he probably cost Shawn the competition and she was right because they could have received 10s but didn't.
@@StarlordNoah I do dance and while I dont do any ballroom I do read up on these dances, traditional quickstep doesnt break hold but what I will say is this show does many styles out of their traditional technique. Like The Paso doble, it can be very traditional or not. And its never been too big an issue for that but I dont see how quickstep needs to be so formal everytime.

Ahhh how I love the Harold Wheeler orchestra. I havent watched since they were fired. I tried season 18 for a couple of weeks but it had lost the DWTS feeling and I couldnt enjoy it 😔😔😔
I think they deducted points for the Quickstep bc that is one of the “traditional” ballroom dances where they are not allowed to do lifts. Technically they broke the rules, so points were deducted. I agree about the others though

Len Goodman should have been nicer on some occasions.

I know it was technically a really high scoring but their quickstep is by far my favourite dance they did, for me they deserved 3 tens for that one.
