I remember really wanting Shawn to win when I watched the olympics back in the day but now that there are so many power houses I really appreciate Nastia's beauty and grace - so unusua now to have someone as graceful as her who is still so strong!
I'm not even a Derek fan, but I still believe he should have won with Shawn. Most of Melissa's dances that season were not memorable, and two of her dances (freestyle and argentine tango) were all lifts and little dancing.
I think Apollo was robbed this season by not being in the final. Apollo was leading Karina instead of Karina leading him. It should have been Derek & Sean or Val and Kelly as the winner.
Did you guys know that Shawn did that with a broken heel too? I saw it in an interview after this dance, I think it was the left shoe but it's hard to see cause she moves so fast.

That dance was absolutely insane. The choreography was very complex and technical, and Shawn not only nailed it, she made it look easy, and she was having fun doing it too. No other star dancer could have pulled it off, except maybe Charli D'Amelio, or Sabrina Bryant, or Riker Lynch, or Alfonso
I've been watching DWTS since Emmitt Smith's season, and she's still my favorite! Although some have come close. in precision, coordination, and dedication to practice, she's untouchable. Poor thing was very trusting of her "coaches" and Derek mistakenly lead her wrong.
I’m glad Tony and Melissa won the all-star season. Derek aaa always winning and always had a ringer for a partner. Finally for ONCE Tony had a chance at winning. Even after he won, the very next season, they paired him up with another dud.

I love shawn. But the outfit threw the whole thing off for me. It's like the top was missing . I just look like a moving pink shirt and not her. Shes too short to wear just a big shirt
