I just love you two! To see the joy you have together and for your knits makes me feel so good! Thank you!
I love the projects you have knitted. I also love that you and your daughter get to do this podcast together! It’s so sweet!
Your Forestland is gorgeous Diana and Kaity, I love that you are showing us some of your earlier FOs. Hope you continue to feel better. x
You ladies are so enjoyable to watch. The items you make are fabulous. I look forward to the next podcast to see what’s flying off your needles.
Lovely proyects ❤ I love the color choices of kaitys hat and Diana's leaf pullover it looks stunning
G’day, just a joyful time watching your podcast 💕🇦🇺
Love your podcast! I feel like I’m knitting with friends. I ALWAYS visit Friends and Fiberworks when I’m near Asheville. It truly is a great yarn store. Your sweater is beautiful Diana.
I always enjoy your podcasts!! Kaity, you are glowing!! Diana, that Habitation Throw is amazing!! I love La Bien Aimee worsted. I just finished a Strata sweater with Shire as the main color. And, your Riptide vest is perfect!! I am making the Moby Slipover, and while I like it, there is a lot going on with it!! The Antler sweater you made with your grandmother's buttons is so precious! How lovely to be able to pass it on. Have a wonderful few weeks until we see you again!
It is always a good week when The Fruitful Hands are in the house❣️❣️
I so enjoy you ladies so much. Your knits are so inspiring for me and absolutely love that vest that you are making, Diana! I also love watching Kaity blossoming with every podcast. Till next time…Happy knitting, Kathy
I just finished the Riptide Slipover. Great pattern. Diana, your Forestland is gorgeous!
We honeymooned in black mountain. I love it!!
As always, I was so happy to see your podcast come up. I enjoy seeing the things you have created from the past even if we have seen it before! Can we ever see maker products too much!? I don't see how you get it all done. Impressive.
Love everything about this podcast.
I made a Manhattan hat, and I did the knitting decreases. You don’t need to change anything. Just keep following the pattern in the round doing your decreases. At the top I did a three needle bindoff. THEN I tuned my hat inside out and the outside became the “wrong” side. I hope that makes sense. It is a great pattern!
I got the Kindle version of The Sock Project. That means I have it on my Kindle, my phone and my iPad. I have loved reading it. The book is delightful and Summer has such a sense of humor. I’m looking forward to knitting some of her socks.
Always enjoy your podcasts! Hope to catch a premiere sometime.
I finished my Riptide Slipover this week (inspired by Kelly and Noelle!), and wore it yesterday. I love the construction of it, and it turned out perfect 😊
I just made this as well, inspired by Kelly and Noelle as well.
Uhg. I waited all day for your premiere, then forgot when it was finally time! I usually set an alarm. Next time! Anyway, glad Kaity is feeling better! I love the Riptide. Might have to make at least one. 😉
I really enjoy your podcast. Glad you all are feeling better. I visited the Friends and Fiberworks yarn shop when we were in Ashevillle for a few days. Very nice shop.
OMG ! Your anthology Diana 😍😍😍 and I have made the same Kobuk hat and I love mine. It’s one of my favorite and I think it looks great on you Kaity 💖
On your shrug, just start making increases then use the smaller end up at your neck. Then you’re not tearing it all out. Kind of like the “Friend to Friend” shrug. Just a thought.❤
Good morning ladies!! You both look so pretty, happy and healthy! I've been battling a seasonal "bug" for a few weeks too. Tis the season, I guess. Katie...do you like to read "cozy" mysteries? It's a really fun genre to read. I can recommend the "Secret, Book, and Scone Society" series by Ellery Adams. Eva Gates writes a fun lighthouse library series too.
On the hat you are basically making a short row when you turn the hat inside out. So you may have a little hole to close up
What a precious gift. All the knits are wonderful.
PS...the picture that Sister C made for you would make a beautiful logo for your podcast! Just sayin'.....😉❤
I love your sweater, Diana, so beautiful. Love that leaf detail. Katie, I love the dress you are wearing, then the green sweater, how beautiful. Love the hat, too, that you shared. Glad you are feeling better. Always love your videos. sending love, hugs, prayers.
What a fun podcast. Wow to all the knits. You ladies brightened my day! Have a greatweek
Thanks ladies. I enjoyed seeing all the projects and yarns. Diana, your Anthologie is wonderful and I’m glad so had so much fun making it. I hope you will get back to knitting soon Kaity.
On the Frivalous and Frugal podcast, they suggested putting 3 yarns thru separate holes of a button with large holes ( so the yarn isn’t scraped against the edge of the hole.
It keeps the yarns from tangling as you pull from your bag. Dawn had a mohair as one of her yarns and she said it was a life saver for keeping it all organized.
Friends and Fiberworks is a wonderful place! They are so very helpful and friendly.
I caught the tail end of the premier but I watched the full episode afterwards. I have been wanting to make the Anthology throw. I just don't have enough scraps to make it happen yet...one day. Your's is beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to make this podcast.
Such a joy to watch the two of you. ❤
Always a joy to see you ladies!
So happy to see you ladies this evening! Ordered a couple things from Fiber and Friends. Great site! Love your knits ❤
So good to “see and chat” with y’all! Glad to hear life is good. Diane, NE knits here on TH-cam, knit the Manhattan Hat so she may be able to help with that question. I loved seeing all the projects. 😍 Sister C’s drawing is so beautiful. OMGOODNESS I have also taken a break from IG and it’s been absolutely amazing. It started with just a month but we are now almost at 2 😂
First time I caught your premier. Very nice
So happy to see you and all your lovely knits. I haven’t made the Manhattan hat but I have knit projects inside out and the pattern suggested a short row stitch when changing direction.
So glad you’re feeling better Kaity and that you’re both getting well! ❤
So Diana, i knit my cuff ribbing inside out (it’s neater for some reason) so i do one German short to get it turned. So that’s what i would do on your Manhattan hat! Give that a try and I look forward to seeing the finished hat!!
Thanks for this lovely podcast!
If y'all ever travel southwest, be sure to stop by the yarn store in Murray, KY! It's on the square. Red Bug.
Always enjoy your podcast. I have just finished the Riptide slipover, really love the pattern.
Hi Diana & Kaity, as always I enjoyed your podcast. Kaity that hat you showed us is adorable on you!!!! And Diana your round blanket is impressive and so pretty. It seems like you got it done fast! understand getting rid of Instagram, I deleted mine and it’s wonderful. It robs precious time from us ❤️
That green cardigan would be perfect to wear for St. Patty’s Day!
Great idea!! I hadn’t thought is that.
A lovely podcast! 💖
