Hi JHow, Thanks for providing Diablo 3 content. I just wanted to ask (or challenge you) if you can make a Video Guide on "Effective Stash Management" specially for people playing multiple characters. I could really use advice or atleast a comparison. I'll also be asking other youtube content providers (namely, wudijo, Quin69, Rhykker, Philosophios and Empyriangaming) and I hope this content helps viewers (like me) for their non-season stash or even their Seasonal stash space if they plan on playing multiple toons. Wish you all the best!
Last season i had 2 level 70s of each character. One for speed farming TX rifts and bounties and one for greater rifts. I never kept more than one spare of any item I already had equipped. Hope this can help you some.
+sosmunnch I more or less do the same. Power-leveling is so fast and easy (if you just grab your chance whenever someone is offering or do it with friends) there's no reason not to have a toon for each build you actively use. It has saved me both time as well as storage space in the long run never having to swap builds around completely. The season before I had mules and only 1 of each class, it was a complete nightmare. :p Knowing exactly what items you're going to use at some point helps as well.
i found it helpfull for the low paragon players such as me to have the unity combo with the follower and the "cant die" thing on the follower. i wasnt able to clear grift 70 in time, mostly because of low para and still not good equip, but i didint die.
For high level greater rift, frost nova / furnace isn't going to cut it. You simply do not have enough mitigation to stay alive. Instead you cube Orb Of Infinite Depths, and use explosive blast / chain reaction instead of Frost Nova.
I've been using the Firebirds set with Etched Sigil to uses its effects very fast and effectively. Still trying to get around to combining it some of Vyr's set so I can get the max usage out of my archon form.
Anyone try this build with Tal Rasha set? (750% per element *4 = 3000% dmg, and then add meteors on top of that) compared to firebird's 2400% with the new cap --- might have to change magic weapon to ignite and use a lightning damage wand though. You'd also gain 20% elemental damage from not having to get a 20% fire damage roll. Also could incorporate the newly buffed nilfurs in there somehow.... anyway I'll test this now and report on results

I don't know why, but my Chantodos does not deal fire damage while in Archon form. Everyone i see has this fire ring popping out, but mine seems like arcan damage ?
What is a good beginner green and legendary set I can use? Currently, I have Demon, Sage, Capt Crimson, Hallowed, Aughild, Asheara recipes, as well as some legendary weapon and armor recipes which i can't remember atm. Playing on Master difficulty level as I don't have the gear for a higher tier.

Say you have +30% fire dmg, Archon with an arcane rune(which teleport is) will automatically inflict fire dmg even if you have say +25% arcane dmg on some piece of gear. What I don't understand is how ppl push GR90+ with that build..I mean the dmg is tremendous but with bott, bots and gogok of swiftness you are squishy as fuck and every white enemy one hits you beyond 70 even while in archon form...the 60% reduction of explosive blast dont help there as you have to move in and release 3-4 explosions to get the stacks in the first place where you will die after being inside enemies for 0,1 seconds....maybe have an answer there JHow? The top 100 all play explosive blast+infinite depth build and dont even have that perfect gear rolls right now...how do they survive anything in the high GRs?
+Devilfish6666 Archon doesn't take on the elemental dmg you have. You have to spec into it. It's chatando's that does. With this build, the only thing that really makes use of your firebird's bonus is chatando's explosion if you have fire dmg %

+The Only Bambi Chantodo's set bonus is determined by your highest elemental damage modifier. Ideally with a build like this, you would want 20% fire damage and 19% arcane damage bonus... That way Chantodo's bonus will still deal fire damage, and then get 19% extra arcane damage for archon.
I still dont understand how enemies are getting ignited with archon teleport. yes the highest percent damage is fire (20% archon 19%) so i have wave of destruction but that is still only 1 way to ignite enemies. what are the other two ways to ignite enemies to get the full bonus?
So I'm trying Firebirds for the first time - currently S9 - and notice that now the popular rune is Combustion. What I don't understand is the mechanic behind igniting enemies. Most build I see are very similar to this, lightning rune on AT, ice armor, deflection on magic weapon instead of ignite, etc. The only fire skill is while in archon, but the firebirds requires enemies to be hit by 3 different fire skills. -_- *enter confusion* How are we stacking ignites, in Archon form there is 3 skills that would deal fire dmg if you use combustion, but for most instances you don't want to use the beam instead using Q(1) and LMB. Right now i'm using explosion blast (chain reaction), arcane torrent (fire rune), teleport, ice armor, Archon (combustion), and magic weapon(force or deflection). HALP!!
I did end up finding the answer. by rolling %fire dmg to be the highest type of dmg on gear the chotodos wave does fire dmg meaning q + wave + RMB or LMB activates the ignite. Essentially outside of archon form the goal is to basically survive, stack chantodos, SURVIVE. No I wasn't looking at manald builds.
So I'm sitting here scratching my head and can't figure it out.. What the hell does fire damage? What am I meant to be using to get the firebirds buff and do more damage? Because I honestly can't figure it out and it's pissing me off... I ran a 50 Grift and shit on everything because the firebird buff was active yet the next one I ran I couldn't kill anything because I didn't have the buff, and I have no idea what I'm meant to be doing to get the buff
Make fire your highest % increased damage element... the aoe nova in archon turns into your highest element.. so it turns it to fire... there's another guide done by a girl can't remember the name but much more informative.. will be the first one you see if you put in.. wizard 2.4.1

+Chris Hoefler Yeah, that's the most annoying part of archon. When you're outside the form you die to anything just looking at you. Mob clusters spread apart and what not really makes archon wiz not fun to play.

The stacks that stick around will 'stack' with you getting back into the Archon mode. Works increasingly well if you have lots of CDR and your time out of archon is very short.
+lanzona merlions no it will work with just fire but having 20% fire on bracers and 19% arcane on something else would make using teleport viable for damage as well. Until you get the 19% arcane you can use Archon combustion for more damage, but less movement!
+aadil hariff You need Fire Skill Damage on Bracers and Amulet. (or just 1 of them, but if you have on bracers, make sure you don't have any other element on amulet).

How do you keep your Arcane Power constantly high? I'm still low paragon (barely 300) sitting on 48% CDR, but my main problem is that I run out of resources stupidly fast if I spam the Arcane Torrent, which in turn hurts my CD lowering from Zodiac ring. Will having better/ancient pieces magically fix this or am I missing something?
You need Arcane power on crit on your source 4% is max, but you can make do with 3%. Also, you need plenty of monsters around to hit so you generate AP back quickly. Ideally you will have enough CDR after your gear is optimized so that your Archon cooldown is reset before you run out of AP.
+JHow Gaming stack up on cooldown reduction on shoulders gloves even source an wand to stay in archon for as long as possible by reducing the time your out of archon. Don't forget you need fire damage on bracers or amulet as well to activate the firebird set bonus
+Marcelo Carvalho correct, it seems to me the meta for wizards, there's still twister build, but most top players on the ladder are all firebird archon.
+facehugger89 The leaderboard is full of wiz with this set but *not* this exact build. Seems the top wizards are clones of each others when it comes to gear. I think there's a dh up to as well, but I hate that build more than archon wizard. I personally just want to get to 75 greater rift solo, but don't know if I even want to bother at this point.
+McGlow (darthblade) true that though it is very powerful, I didn't like the Vyr6+Chantodos build in season 4 either. DOM of season 5 was much more fun and had more variation(orb or twister as main skill, different weapons and sources and variety in passives)
I am not sure how people are surviving mobs in Season 6 using this... I cleared up to 67 but with several deaths at gr70 even non elite mobs one shot my ass and I got everything ancient with great stats other than shoulder and boots.
and as you can see from several of this videos... they are never in a map where there is a lot of range enemies. any gr67+ with a lot of range is a total hot mess.
+Cynical Possum bees and lazers... But nah anything that has a range attack... The big fat guys that freeze the ground has a fast range attack that is darn impossible to avoid... And in my case it's always a one shot.

+Blubbpaule you highest elemental damage is important ;)
+Blubbpaule Get 20% fire dmg, and 19% arcane dmg. You must have fire % as your highest else the firebird set is pointless.
For anybody feeling crummy that the good Archon build doesn't use Vyr's set, now you know how us Pet doctors feel...
